Personality: A bit of a pragmatist Michael does his very best at everything he set out to do relying solely on his wits and wide array of knowledge, manipulating events and situations to benefit him. He plans his moves and determine every probability as often as possible. He is a perfectionist leaving nothing to chance if possible but being a pragmatist he realizes certain things are left to chance, especially ones involving metaphysical forces. Even though he is labeled a villain he thoroughly believes himself to be a paragon of human virtue. Even so, he believes
the necessity of his research above everything and will personally sacrifice anything for his research.

History: Michael is inherently self-dependant from a very early age. Quitting school at the age of 10 he taught himself through books and correspondence study eventually earning a BSc and accredited with the development and invention of the perpetual energy battery. His life takes a sudden change when he witnessed a fight between a magic-user and a mutant. With this revelation he realizes the astounding possibilities to be gained. His reputation was marred as he was ridiculed by his peers when he released his papers on "Energy Manipulation and Matter/Energy Conversion Theory through Magic". Angered by the blatant dismissal of his work by the science community he went on to further deepen his study on the workings of magic and mutation. Eventually, his research reaches fruition with the development of his Energy Core that powers many of his devices. In his research he found a link between powers that are mutual to mutants and magic users suggesting a link between them. This newest revelation has caused Michael to consider doing 'field work' observing and cataloging powers from various mutants and magic-users...
