History: Astrid grew up living with her grandparents. He parents were going to give her up for adoption, but her mother's parents disagreed and took the baby girl in. She never sees her parents, and never wants to after being told that they didn't want her. She was an odd child, but her grandparents only encouraged her antics. They felt it was good for her to get it out of her system before she became an adult. She was shy and often acted out when she was nervous, causing all sorts of mishaps around the house. She would always bring animals she found into the house, much to her grandmother's dismay.

As she grew older, she started attending school. She rarely made friends due to her shyness, all the kids thought her odd and left her alone. She was quiet and not one to speak out when other kids were having discussions. She often pretended she didn't hear her teacher, or even her grandparents. She often hid behind her long hair, refusing to speak to anyone, her constant companion a small cat named Nancy. She only talked to Nacy, though the cat never talked back. It was then that she discovered her healing powers, with her cat. Nancy had been injured and came to her beloved Astrid, mewing her complaints. The distraught girl held Nancy close and cried into the cream fur, she concentrated all her might on healing her cat, not thinking it would work, but remaining ever hopeful. Nancy abrubtly started purring so Astrid looked at the wound again, only to see it fully healed. She never told anyone about it, just kept it to herself and her cat.

Finally, out of grade school and high school, the girl won many scholarships, she wasn't dumb by any means, in fact she was very intelligent. She just chose not to let others know that she was. That would have been another reason to tease the girl. She majored in herbology, doing extensive research on botany and all the affects it can have on a person. She had become more outspoken, and almost angry in conversations. There was only one who cold calm her, her first love, Jarrett. After a while, things got sour between the two, and she found out he was cheating on her. Not one to be spited, Astrid used her botony skills to poison her love. If she couldn't have him, no one could. She was never discovered, and she continued to live life happier than she ever had. She could heal and destroy. She became a much stronger person because of her skills.

Personality:Astrid is very good at using certain emotions to her advantage. She is coniving, but can be honest when she wants to be. She only does things for herself, and most seem to find her cold and uncaring. This in not true, they just need to take the time to get to know her. Once they break her hard outer shell and gain her trust, she will be the sweetest thing you have ever known. She can be sarcastic and witty, as well as cynical. There are many sides to her and only certasin people see certain things. She is like most cats, she finds one person, and that person is the one she holds dearest to her. She likes to help people, but at the same time she likes destroying them. She is very complicated and hard to figure out, but once you do, you can have her wrapped around your finger.


Powers:  Healing, she can heal the most critical damage inflicted upon someone. She cannot heal herself. She can heal a person from up to 20-25 feet away and she only has to concentrate on them for her power to work.

Roleplay Sample: The White Rabbit, as she was known by some had thought about taking a quick run to clear her head. She had had a good sale recently so her pockets weren't bare at the moment. She ran past several people easily, not even winded as she ran up a steep slope, her ponytail bouncing like the tail of a rabbit as she reached the top. She stretched her arms up over her head and blinked at the sun for a second, a small smile flickering across her pink lips. She continued onwards, this time at a walk, her blue eyes confidently scanning her surroundings. She was constantly alert for danger, or for someone needing help. She was indeed like the rabbit, skittish at times. She seemed to be more in demand as of late, and the thought made her smile. Not only was she getting laid, she was getting a lot of money for her work.

She grabbed a newspaper from a stand and glanced at the front page. It didn't catch her interest, so she put it back and decided to treat herself. She bought a small vanilla cone and licked at it, ignoring the glances she received from men. If they weren't paying for her services, any of them, she wasn't interested. She descended down the hill still at a walk, her thoughts about her next client, and what he was asking for. She was only in it for herself really.
