Personality: Corvin is a very defensive and aggressive person growing up where the worlds rules were only the strongest mattered and therefore Corvins personality mixed with that rule. He is challenging to others and refuses to back down or take a order until beaten down and proven to be weaker. When meeting new people he is pushy and seeks to dominate whatever situation he is in no matter how much experience the others have. Corvin has a high sense of right and wrong and goes to great lengths to avoid causing damage and having innocents involved, Believing he has something to prove Corvin pushes himself harder and harder the more he fights.

History: Corvin grew up in the world of good and evil where powerful hero's fought vile villains, growing up in a world that was constantly holding super battles and unexplained phenomenon the streets became rough and only the strong were treated with respect. Corvin was never the strongest or the fastest he was just Corvin the nerdy kid who got in the way all the time. Corvin had the worst luck always being where he wasn't suppose to by just some sick twist of fate. Fate has always been a flip of a coin or the slightest chance or even more the love of the Underdog.

Young Corvin was kidnapped from school at age twelve and taken to a lab somewhere north where it was always cold, the young child never knew why he had been taken or if it even mattered, all he knew was he was far far from home. The people there called themselves Project Perfection but these people to him were vicious, evil, and cruel. Corvin's life became a series of torture, beatings, pain, and starvation. When he wasn't in the labs being tested on he was in one of the cells with the few others getting jumped or pounded on. Seconds turned into hours, hours into weeks, weeks into months, and into years. Year after year nothing changed, The beatings and torture only grew more severe for the young fourteen year old Corvin who no longer thought of the outside world as something to belong too, his entire existence had become about pain.

The day arrived when a man came in and one Corvin would never forget. Dr. Commander was what the scientists called him and from the first moment Corvin laid eyes on the man he hated him. Understanding flooded into him that this man was the sole reason for all of this and though the spirit wanted to destroy the man the body was too weak. The Doctor demanded the experiment be tested on five test subjects, The tests were even more brutal than the last and the entire time they said one word that Corvin never understood. "Pain". Corvin had always thought they meant more pain but the way the doctor said it was as if it was a curse or a nightmare. Then came the canes and whips and once again pain.

Corvin woke up a month later having gone into a mini-coma from the advanced punishment only to find that the sensation of touch and feel were gone. Taste remained but faint and the others were fine, Corvin was once again thrown into the cells where he was attacked but unlike before when he screamed this time he didn't even feel the blows on his body. Taken out of the cell Corvin was once again punished with beatings and pain but no matter what they did he felt nothing. The man known as Dr. Commander arrived only a few hours later and them all agreeing they placed young Corvin into a steel cylinder that could fit only one person. Smoke or what Corvin thought was smoke filled the cylinder and a voice spoke telling him to breathe deeply and following the orders he did so. There was a smell that followed but Corvin couldn't place it only that it was bitter.

Afterwards, Corvin was taken to a separate cell and he passed out from the day. A full year went by for the chemicals had shut down the body to work and Corvin was fed via I V until he was healthy once again. A year and a quarter passed before green eyes fluttered open to the world and it felt different. Corvin sat up realizing he had grown taller and somehow his body had grown bigger. Corvin felt strong for the first time in his life and better than ever. The young man walked to the cell door and raising a hand slammed his fist against the door as hard as he could expecting it to get some attention, it did by the door flying backwards and going through the wall onto the other side. Corvin was shocked by what happened but something told him this was his chance and he took it.

Corvin fought his way through a army of security and a hail of bullets that bounced off his skin, Corvin didn't feel a single bullet and he wondered if it was from losing the feel of touch or the transformation of his body. The young fifteen year old finally made it to the outside world where he took in the beauty and though it was far from civilization that wouldn't stop the new young powerhouse. Corvin ran through the snow and ice until he came across a small town and by that time he was hungry and thirsty, The people took pity on the young teen and fed him up and when asked what his name was he simply replied "Corvin".

Corvin was taken in by a family and named Corvin Dax legally by the state only to find he was in Alaska, Old memories had been washed away and the young Corvin couldn't even remember what his parents looked like or even his own name. However one name did stick to him the name that the Doctor had mumbled so long ago. "Pain". Though the name was odd it was common amongst the people who had heard of the Legendary hero known as Pain who was the most powerful hero of them all. Corvin began to wonder if he was meant to find this man though he did not know for what purpose. Knowing those people would return Corvin spent hours and weeks trying to master his new abilities and the extent of them. Upon training he discovered his incredible strength and Endurance went past just bodily harm, he could stand great pressure, heat and cold didn't even effect him and his feeling of touch was so dead he didn't even feel it when he ran head first into a solid brick wall like it was wet tissue. Corvin grew up and learned to fight mostly a brawler he learned a couple of fancy moves but his skills mainly came from his fist. Upon training Corvin learned he had no lack of Stamina and realized he was exhausted not from the running but because his body had still been weak from whatever they had done to him. Corvin went to College at eighteen and did two years in History major. After that he went back home and helped his dad to ice fish and build boats. However the sense of finding Pain never left and he finally put down his carpentry tools and turned his sights to the larger America knowing one day he would find his destiny.

Powers: Super human Strength and Endurance, Due to the punishment over years Corvin has no feeling of touch including pain, his other senses are fine r. His speed is that of a athletic runner and his unlimited stamina makes him able to run flat out forever. A slight healing factor helps and though weak it can even heal fatal wounds and add limbs back that were removed however this has not been tested, the healing takes some time.

Corvin walked down the busy sidewalk of New York City, green eyes marveled at the buildings as tall as the sky when he had only ever seen mountains. The sights were splendid but the city itself was noisy and people walked by as if you didn't exist, Corvin was already missing the quite streets of Nudai, Alaska" But he had come here for a reason and he couldn't just leave from one crowded city. Corvin was wearing blue jeans with a flaming design on his right leg and a white muscle t-shirt revealing the strong build.

Corvin opened the door to a convenient store and walked inside looking around, moving to the back he took a beer and some chips and was heading to the front when he saw a man run in and draw a gun. Corvin stood there for a moment before walking up to the counter and laying down the items, the man with the gun started yelling and waving his gun around. The large man looked at the thief and while his right hand moved which the robbers eyes followed a jaw jacking left hook slammed into the man's jaw right where the hinge was breaking said jaw with a single punch. Corvin had made sure to hold back otherwise he would have punched the guys head right off his body.

He smiled and paid his money and kicked the gun away leaving the clerk to call the cops and taking his beer in a brown bag and his chips in hand he left the store and turned his attention back to the city and walking into a group he became just another pedestrian with little interest to the eye except for his size. Slipping into a Alley he popped open his beer and drank it down, though he didn't need the liquid the taste was refreshing and reminded him he was alive for no feeling could. Corvin left the alley after dropping the bag in a trash can he stepped back onto the sidewalk and vanished into the crowd.

Alright, just a few changes. I think you should be a member of Project Perfection, the group that gave Pain and many other super humans there abilities. It would better explain why you have such similar powers to Pain, and give you more reason to find the Big Guy. It would also give your history a little more reasoning, instead of just being abducted by random scientists, you're abducted by a power obsessed rogue military group.

I've got no problem with you using my power, as long as it doesn't become a trend, but I should make it clear to you that you're still able to feel everything, it's just numb. Make sense? This can't give you a major advantage in combat and should be treated as an RP device. I request one thing from you though, can you not have any of your senses like taste effected? I ask because it's a major part of Pain's character, his curse/gift/type thing.

Also, just a heads up, a healing factor of 1 EP is going to kind of suck. Basically, you'll heal a little faster than a normal human, nothing too special about it.

No problem. I took off the taste and I can understand that no biggey. I added Project perfection where the Scientists was but I like the story it has. Is it ok to keep it like it is but Perfection pulling the strings? I also took a point off of speed and added it to EP. Healing seems useful in a fight. The no pain thing I got it. It will hurt just numbed down gotcha. No abuse and it's all good.
