Personality
Eli is a very outspoken person. He speaks his mind all the time whether it offends someone or not. This could lead people to think that he is a jerk, but he always has that person’s best interest at thought, unless he/she is a villain. Eli is not going to be your “Yes Man” or anything. He will tell you when you are doing something wrong. Eli could be very kind hearted though, but he tries not to make any connections with anyone because everyone he has gotten close to is dead because he has out lived them all. A normal man would have been driven crazy, but not Eli. His strong determination and willpower to protect these streets are probably the only thing that keep him going now. One thing he has done to keep stress from getting to him is gum chewing. Some people are addicted to alcohol, cigarettes, or other drugs, but Eli’s addiction is gum. This calms him from going crazy other than protecting people.

Eli was born to Asha on September 7th, 1832 in Savannah, Georgia. Asha died during childbirth leaving Eli under the care of the Walker family. Eli was born into slavery. Connor Walker, father of the Walker family, had some humanity in him to keep Eli alive. Connor was always hard on Connor because he was a slave of course. When Eli was able to walk, talk, and think, he was put to work. In Eli’s pre-teen years, he was terrified to even speak out against any of the demands that the Walker family would demand of him. Once Eli his teen years, he became much more outspoken against the orders that he was being given. This of course led Connor to try and put Eli in his place by physically abusing him in various ways when Eli would speak out. Eli was a quick healer though and would continue to speak his mind against this family for the rest of his teen years. During his late teen years Eli experienced a major growth spurt both in height and muscle mass. When Eli was 18 the Civil War had begun. A year later President Lincoln would give his Emancipation Proclamation speech claiming that all slaves in the South were free. Of course word of this spread throughout the South and eventually reached the city of Savannah. Once Eli found this out he tried to leave the household of the Walker family. Connor was there to stop him though and Eli tried to fight him. The fight of course was not a fair one because neighbors of the Walker family would jump in and beat Eli, even though he had them beat in size. Connor and the other men would tie Eli to a post claiming that he was “too dangerous”. Connor would grab the hunting rifle that was in the house and take aim at Eli. Connor would shoot Eli right in the chest. Connor would assume that Eli was dead at this point due to his body going limp after he was shot. Connor left his body tied to the post though leaving it as a message to the other black men to not try and revolt. When it was nighttime on the same day, fellow black men would untie Eli and get ready to bury him. To everyone’s surprise tough the gun wound was gone! Eli was still breathing and alive. No one had any explanation for him still being alive because most of the people there witnessed him getting shot and killed. Two years of hiding with an underground group of other black men had passed. The city of Savannah was quite, until Sherman’s army came marching into Savannah during the end of his March to the Sea. This gave these men a chance to finally revolt against their former slave owners. In the midst of the short battle, Eli would come face to face with Connor again. This time though, the gun was in the other hand. Eli claimed that this was ‘justice’ at hand as he shot down Connor. Eli and the many other free black men would join Sherman’s army as they would march back up to Virginia to meet Grant’s army a defeat Lee’s army. The Civil War came to an end and Eli finally felt that he was now free. Eli would stay in the armed service for a few more years until he finally decided his time in the service was over. He learned how to fight, use guns, and how to survive. Eli went on to live a typically normal life, but it was still rough due to racism. He would get into many fights, disputes, and serve some time. This led him to becoming a good street brawler and is when he realized that he could heal much quicker than any person he knew. He really wasn’t sure of what to make of this, he just though he was a quick healer. The years continued to pass and it was already the late 1800s now, 1898 to be exact. Eli would be 66 at this time, but would still look no older than a day over 20. Eli would find this extremely odd and the doctors had no explanation for this. Eli would be in tip top physical condition as he joined the American army again for the Spanish-American War. There were many times that Eli should have died to a gun wound but didn’t. Sometimes he would get shot and the bullet wouldn’t even go through his body. Other times fatal wounds for him were healing the same day. Some of his friends would see it as a natural phenomenon and others would see him as a freak of nature. It really wouldn’t matter though because Eli would out live all of these men and continue to living from the World Wars to the present day. Over almost 2 centuries of living Eli had seen the world, mastered the use of many guns, learned how to fight and protect himself, and was greatly supported by the army. The peacetime that Eli had between these wars, he would spend doing something else. He didn’t just want to help his country against the threat of foreign affairs, but also domestic. He came up with an alter identity known as Justice. During these times he would fight crime. He was a vigilante. In the early years he was fully supported in his actions by the newspapers and such, but as time continued on his actions became more frowned upon. Eli would continue to fight against criminals to this day though. He still held strong that he was helping this country by cleaning up their streets of the criminals that walk them.

Powers
First off Eli has a regenerative healing factor. Like it is shown he can heal minor injuries in seconds, major ones in minutes, and limbs can be put back in about a day. His healing factor also renders him more resilient against disease, drugs, toxins, etc that the normal human. Eli was born with his healing factor. The healing factor has retarded his aging process making him appear much younger than he is and giving him the ability to perform at Olympic level performance. With the development of his healing factor over so many years, the power has branched out to giving Eli slightly heightened senses as well because his healing factor gives him the ability to push his muscles beyond human limits.

Another ability that has developed over time was Eli’s abnormally dense bone structure. Due to so many years of fighting and broken bones, his bones have become much denser than any normal humans bones. This is due to when you break a bone and it heals the calcium deposits in the bones become denser and stronger. Living in the times of the Civil War period gave him many opportunities for his bone structure to increase in density with a little pain on the side. His bone structure is said to rival the hardest known metals on earth and diamonds.

From serving in the American Civil War, Spanish-American War, WW1 & WW2, Cold War, Korean War, and a short term in the war in Iraq, Eli has had a great amount of time to get to master many guns. Eli has been firing guns now for 100+ years and is an expert with almost any type of gun you put into his hands. His main weapons that he carries now are two Beretta M9 pistols both nicknamed by him Sherman(left pistol) and Grant(right pistol) and one M1014 shotgun nicknamed Lincoln.

Throughout his military days Eli has learned boxing, wrestling, and Jujitsu. Outside of the military he has also become proficient in kickboxing, karate, and also some judo. Also due to the need to be concentrated and focused, he would use this ability of focus to practice free running. He figured it would help him get around when there is not a vehicle nearby. He eventually came to become a pro or a master at this art as well.

Also I'm not sure if it counts to note that Eli is ambidextrous.

Nighttime in the big city, New York to be exact. It was 1 A.M. right now, but the streets were still alive with people, cars, and lights. No wonder they call this the city that never sleeps. Eli was already in his super attire as the vigilante Justice. He walked through the streets as any other person would. He wore an extra jacket tonight to cover up the shotgun that was mounted on his back. His pistols were in the holsters that were around his thighs and hidden from the naked eye. Chewing from his mouth could be heard as he chewed on a wad of gum. Eventually police sirens could be heard in the near distance and were getting closer and closer to where Justice was walking. He would turn to see a car with two men in it speed down the street he was on. A cluster of cops were following right behind them as they neared to where Justice was. Justice would walk into the middle of the street, in front of the path of the car. Some of the people that saw this would scream for him to get out of the way and others just though he was some suicidal man. Justice would pull out Sherman, his Beretta M9 pistol. He took aim down the iron sight at the driver of the getaway vehicle. He pulled the trigger and the shot was a direct hit through the driver's head. The passenger would look in horror as the car would slowly roll closer to Justice. The headlights of the car made Justice appear as just a black hidden figure. The passenger would grab a back that was full of money and get out of the car. Eli looked at this man and with his deep voice would speak out.

"It'd be more fun for me if you started to run or I can just shoot you down right here. Your choice brother."

The criminal gave no hesitation at all and immediately started to run away. The criminal would run down the nearby alleyway. Sadly for this criminal this alleyway was a dead end. One big brick wall stood in front of this criminal. the criminal would panic greatly as you heard his breaths get faster and faster. He would turn around to look at Justice walking down the alleyway slowly. Justice would crack his knuckles as he walked. The criminal would back into the corner, stricken with fear.

"Get away from me!"

"What's wrong? Scared of the consequences now? Damn does that suck now."

Justice would say as he had Sherman pointed right at the man's head. He pulled the trigger on the man. The cops were now coming down the dark alleyway. They shined their flashlights down to the end of the alleyway only to find the criminal dead and the bag of money with him. The cops would look around, but find no one else. Justice would look down at them from the top of one of the apartment complexes that they were in between. he would then turn and start to run off into the night again, waiting for the next crime to be committed.

You are not exactly immune to diseases until 7 durability, but you resist them like a champ, and it would probably take a high intelligence villain to engineer a disease that could overtake your durability.

Did you say how you got your regenerative abilities? You should give a brief story, doesn't need to be believable or rational, that gives some insight into how you got your powers.

The Energy projection for being that old needs to be a 6. To completely stop the aging process is a 7, but I don't mind letting you keep the background and say that he ages very slowly. Unless an admin or some other mod strongly disagrees, I'll vouch for the back story and power going together.

You are actually 198, we jumped up to 2028, not 2026.

Easiest first, I checked with a calculator about the age and he is 196. Born in 1832. I had to double check that.

And sorry, immune was the wrong word to use in that part of his powers, I'll change it when I'm not on my phone. ~Edited

Also I though I mentioned that he was born with the power somewhere either that or I just assumed that through the history it would be a given. I'll read it over when I'm off my phone to double check it again. ~This was in the sentence after the problem above lol

And for the EP, it should be a 6. Meaning 5 for healing factor and 1 for the heightened senses right?
