Gun Range gone to Hell(Open)

Crosshairs stepped of the bus and looked around. The sun was high in the sky, the air was cool, and the wind was calm, to him this was perfect weather for a trip to the gun range. He turned and started walking and eventually left the city limits. He continued walking down the road till he found the secret path he made the last time he was in Deer Lodge County and after a short walk along the path a building came into view that Crosshairs, along with the help of some construction workers and mechanics, built when he needed to get away from the city life. He entered the building and tossed his bag of ammo into his room, but rembering to keep some of it on his for each of his guns. After a quick meal and a drink, he grab his shotgun and sniper rifle and went to the range.

Crosshairs set up several different targets at different ranges and elevations to shoot at. He started first with his Glock 35s at 35 meters out. He heard a horn that he set up to go off when he was ready. When he heard the sound he drew his Glocks and shot every target without a single miss. He then rushed over to the next station and loaded his Remington shotgun and saw aimed at the targets that were about 50 meters out. With as much speed as posible he shot down each target without much trouble. He then rushed over and got into position with his M14 Sniper Rifle. The lasts targets were 100 meters down range and some were on hill tops that rised about 20 meters up. After taking account for the sudden shift in the wind speed Crosshairs took aim and fired at each target hitting them with realtive ease. After he saw the last target was hit he grabed his guns and went over to the deck where he kept the little bit of ammo he brought with him to the range. He reloaded all his guns with the regular bullets he used and then looked at his time which was set to stop after the last target was hit. Crosshairs took a look at the time and then sighed. "1 minute 3 seconds. Damm that could get me killed in a gun fight. Oh well I just need to get faster, and find a gun that could actually convince me to get rid of my Pump-action shotgun."He thought to himself as he grabed his guns and ammo and went back inside.

Cain 'appears' or immergages from the shadows having randomly just shadow traveld to some random place in the USA, testing out how far he can go with his new found power. He walks around and finds a map thingy telling him where he landed, seeing that it is Montanna he blinks and wistles at his newfound ability. Hearing gunshots go off he ignores the looks he is getting from the people he goes to check it out, seeing a gun range the New York Vampire smirks and sends out a shadow whip to grab a random person and pulls them to him. Once in his grasp he rips into their throat and starts draining the ladies body of its blood lavishing in the wonderful taste of it, licking his lips as he lets the body all to the floor watching as the person who was last up walks in.

Cain tilts his head to the side looking at the person,"You just shot am I right, very impressive timing from what I saw, where'd you learn to do it buddeh?" He asks laughing and making the shadows rise up behind the gun shooter ever so slowly coming twoards the man. Having never tasted the blood of a gun slinger before he wants to try something new, ready to lavish in this mans' delightful red mercury, the drink of the gods.

Crosshairs heard the brief scream of a woman as he walked out into the gun range. He then looked out onto the range and saw a man standing there that shouldn't of been here. This was Crosshairs home pretty much and only a few pople that he met over the years knew of it." This foolish man obviously doesn't know he houldn't be on my homefront. I guess that I must do what I normally try to avoid." Crosshairs thought to himself as he heard the man ask him where he learned to shoot so quickly. Crosshairs took mental note of the mans physical structure, possible strength, agility, and several other factors and then answered the man question. "Don't know guess I was born with the skill but to be honest I don't quite remeber anything these days, that's why I travel around the country no scratch that the world to try and find something that will tell me who I am or was. Oh and I'm so glad you decided to kill one of my housekeepers, do you realize just how hard it is to trust someone when you don't even know who you yourself once was?" He said with hints of sarcasim towards the end of his speech. Crosshairs then took a chance peek behind him and noticed something that looked like the shadows rising up behind him. He then casually moved his hand towards his sides so that he would be ready to start shooting.

Cain only half listen, okay lets be honest he listens to absolutely nothing to what is said through that entire speech."Uh-huh, well that all sounds very nice but I hope you do not mind that I am about to end your life." He says grinning a sadist grin, with a sparkle in his blood red eyes, as if he did not just tell the man he was about to die, or maybe he wouldn't die. Supers are much more fun to antagonize, torture, and screw with their minds and this can only be done if left within a breath of their life. If this is done correctly the goodey goodey two shoes will swear they will bring the bad guy, which is Cain in this case, to justice and all that good shit. The thought of all this makes him grin wickedly as the shadows slowly rise up around the gunslinger's feet and up his legs to his holsters ensnaring his lower half in shadows."Tsk,tsk, tsk, did I say you could go after your guns?"

Crosshairs listened to the man saying that he was going to die. He then thought to himself that this guy is truly a pyscho path if he thought he was going down without a fight. Crosshairs was about to grab his Glocks when the shadows ingulfed his legs up to the handles. "Damm it. Now what am I going to do how the hell am I supposed to get out of this when my Rifle and Shotgun are inside."Crosshairs thought to himself as he looked around to try and find something that he could use for a momentary distraction. He then turned his head slightly and saw a revlover that he could reach if he had the time. He then thought about the situation like he was shooting in the dark for a minute and decided to try and get the guy talking. " So since you plan on killing me anyway why dont you humor me by telling me who you are. And I dont want to hear of that crap about your mister such and such and some people call me this and other people call me this. I want to know who you are."Crosshairs in an type of agitated voice to try and it that he was really pissed off when in fact he was taking in account for anything that could go wrong.

Cain paces around the man slolwy letting the shadows engulf him so that he can not move his arms either without at least a strength to match that of Pain's. Oh, isn't being the ever powerful lord of shadows fun? He smirks his evil grin tapping his chin at what the man said having wanted to tell him all his 'pretty' little nicknames and such like that, but oh well what the audience wants the audience gets."Then name is Vulsore, Cain Vulsore and it will be the last name you ever hear unless of course you say some random name before I cut out your tongue of course." The physcotic, bat shit crazey, shadow manipulater says in a very pleasnt tone like he is not about to cut this man up limb by limb, but wait maybe he isn't. Oh, yes giving the man the chance to fight back would be so much fun, but maybe those guns would not be very fair, then again he has his shadows. Oh, the choices one must make when planning on killing someone, they could fill an entire planet full.

Cain taps his chin and shurgs having the shadows engulf ever gun in the room,besides the two in the gunslinger's holsters of course, and they are traveld to where ever the hell the manipulator is thinking about at that specific time. Which oddly enough happens to be the bank of London, so whoever the hell is in there right now just got a giant supprise, litterly. "I believe I will give you the chance to fight back now, though if you start to win well...lets just say you wont much longer." The shadows covering the man fall back to the ground while the one behind him comes flying out at the gunslinger like a whip with a sharpend end attempting to cut clean through his flesh and bones out the other side.

Crosshairs listened as Cain told him who he was. He then watched as Cain passed around wondering what he was going to do to him next. He covered the entire building exterior,ruining his intial plan for getting free, in shadows and then released his shadow grip on Crosshairs stating that he was going to give him a fighting chance. Crosshairs then ducked quickly just escaping a possible killing stab from a shadow whip type thing. He then jumped to the side and drew his guns and aimed at Cain. "Well Cain since you've given me the courtsy of your name I think it would only be right if I told you who I was. The name is Crosshairs and if you truly think I will go down by some punk who doesn't know that he shouldn't be at my home then you truly are a madman."Crosshairs said as he took a look around and cursed himself for leaveing his bag of ammo and other two guns inside. He then jumped out of the booth and into the open field of the shooting range. After a few steps back he fired 2 rounds from each of his guns. Crosshairs then ran towards the living area of his home in an attempt to get to his ammo bag and other guns. "Damm it that could of been my head. That definatly wouldn't help with my memory issue."Crosshairs thought to himself as he was running,"So long as I don't have to use my Last Resorts then I might stand a chance."

Cain smirks and makes a shadow wall infront of him as crosshairs draws his guns expecting him to fire a bullet off or something but doesn't, he shrugs anyway keeping up. Crosshair runs out of the building and Cain slowly follows him, he blinks at his dumb ass luck when four bullets hit the wall going who knows where. He walks into his shadow wall and shadow travles to the house entrance, infront of the gunslinger grinning evily as he sends two shadow whips flying out at the man."Now who said you could try and run away? That deffinately was not part of the deal my friend." The shadow manipulator says snarling as he sends about twenty pointed,deadly, spikes of shadows flying out at the man ready to pierce his skin and go right on through him.

Crosshairs stopped as he saw Cain appear in front of the door and jumps over to the side as the two whips came flying towards him. "Fast one aren't you Cain."Crosshairs said as he fired two more bullets of at the madman. He then jumped to the side in an attempt to avoid the bulk of the whips that were coming at him. He succeed sustaining only minor damage to his leg and arm. Crossjairs then got up and said to Cain,"If one of us don't kill the other then were going to be at this all day aren't we?" He then ran foreward and fired a three more bullets up towards him and fired a fourth bullet hoping the it will curve around and hit him in the side of his head.

Cain snarls as his shadow whips miss and he pulls them back at blinding speeds knocking the bullets out of the way. Not answering the gunslinger he grabs the bullets with a shadow like hand and spins it a bit then spins it throwing the bullets straight back at the original sender proud of his dirty work.[color]"Yes, but you won't kill will you now? A lil queezey bag 'o blood like you aint got the guts to kill."[/color] Cain snarls out in a taunting manner sending twenty shadow whips flying at the man from the front and twenty from behind him adding to what he last said."Dodge this you fucken little bag 'o blood, I dare you." He snarls out rushing forward with his onyx colord kilij drawn ready to try some gunslinger blood.

Crosshairs smirked at the whips coming from his front then jumped to the side and got ready to jump back to avoid the out streched one's in case of this when he saw the whips that where flying at his back. He then dropped to the ground and winced at the whips that where lower towards the ground that cut up his back and his good jacket. "Well while that might be true if you were a common crook, A desperate man looking for a way out usually does what he shouldn't to save his own skin." Crosshairs said to Cain after wincing at the bits of biting pain he felt from the shadow whips. He then put away his guns and drew his Last Resorts and charged at Cain to meet his kilij head on. "Like right now I'm a desperate man that's about to coninue this fight with a pair of swords that I really don't enjoy using."Crosshairs yelled as he charged towards Cain.

Cain watches as the man ducks underneath most of the whips frowning at how little damage is done when he knows those things are strong enough to rip through even the toughest of objects. He snarls as the man comes upon him and he side steps sending a slash out at his opponent's left side before spinning around hin and going for a slash to the back. "Come on big guy, show me whatcha got." He snarls out sending a shadow whip out at the man's head and feet.

Crosshairs twists to block the strike to his side then ducks under the attack to his back still winicing from the pain that was going to continue to resonate from there till he bandaged himself up. Crosshairs then ducks the whip that came to his head and jumped barely escaping the whips that would of surely taken his balance, and possible his entire feet, from him. He then raises up and stabs for Cain's face then side steps and swings at his side then jumps over Cain in an atempt to split his head in half by bringing the swords to the back of his head. Crosshairs thens lands and tries to regain his footing knowing of how stupid he was to try something that close and personal.

He then swings his swords down in a X-formation towards Cain's neck to try and decapitate him. He then jumps back sheaths his swords and draws his pistols firing the rest of the magazine in each gun then reloading and making another run for the house. "Just got to get my other guns then I'll be fine, Come on some one up there please let me make it this time." He thought to himself as he was running towards his living area in his home.

Cain snarls at the man who keeps dodging every fucking little attack he throws out at him. This obviously pissing of the Lord of Shadows greatly, he blocks the first attack, cut ever so slightly by the second, and deflects the next three sent attacks that are sent out turning when the man jumps. Seeing the guns raised and brought up he quickly ducks down then the shot is heard and the bullets wizz over him blinking as he looks up only to see his opponent running off which actually makes him laugh. Then Cain remembers the house and what is most likely in said house, this makes him snarl and slip into the shadows only to reapear a few seconds later infront of the man and jabbing his Kilij out at him. "Now where do you think you're going gunslinger? I do not remember saying you had permition to run off." He mutters out snarling as shadows slowly start to raise up from the ground and engulf the gunslinger, making a giant bubble around him. Once the bubble is made Cain grins wickidly knowing that there is no possible way to escape this bubble, if he tries to attack the thing it will attack back, if he tries to run through it he'll be transported right back into the middle falling from the ceiling. "Now its time to have some fun and see what you can do. The bat shit crazy shadow manipulator snarls out as fifty shadow whips lash out at the man, these only the first of the barage that will be sent out agaisnt him to find his breaking point.

Crosshairs jumps to the side as he saw the Kilij blade come towards him. He however did sustain a good cut to his side from the blade but that was a problem for another time. He then fired off a few rounds at Cain as he noticed the bubble of shadows forming around him. He managed to fire of one more round before the bubble had enclosed him completely and left him blind to the outside world. He then ran off to the side to see what would happen if he tried to escape, this ended with him landing on his butt after falling through the roof. Crosshairs then heard what he thought to be the sound of birds in his opinion, then he saw a barage of shadow whips coming towards him. He jumped to the side and ducked to the ground but still felt whips pierce his back, nothing to deep but it would hurt like hell if he got out of this alive. He then got up and fired a round to figure out what would happen if he tried to atack. The result of this test ended with him wasting another round to intercept the bullet he fired that had reappered behind him. "Great just fucking great. Thsi guy is starting to really piss me off to fucking hell. Damm it if I make it out of this alive then I'm going to seriously have to rethink my choices for living arrangments." He thought to himself as he waited for he next wave of shadow whips that he knew where coming soon.
