Ezer Goode: Frankenstein Speedfreak Empty Ezer Goode: Frankenstein Speedfreak

Post by The_soapmaker June 15th 2011, 5:34 pm

Real Name: Ebeneezer 'Ezer' Goode
Super Hero/Villain/Renegade/etc Name: (Frankenstein) Speedfreak
Title: (effing) Junkie
Alignment: Evil
Age: 29 forever and ever, bitches!
Gender: Male
Race: White, British
Hair: Black
Eyes: All Black, even the whites.
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 125 Lbs

Costume Description/Image: Depends on the situation. He's prone to crossdressing.

Personality: There's a guy in the place, he's got a bittersweet face and he goes by the name of Ebeneezer Goode. His friends call him Eezer and he is the main geezer and he'll vibe about the place like no other man could. He's refined, sublime, he makes you feel fine, though very much maligned and misunderstood. But if you know Eezer he's a real crowd pleaser. He's ever so good, he's Ebeneezer Goode. You can see that he's mysterious, mischievious and devious as he circulates amongst the people in the place. But once you know he's fun and something of a genius, he gives a grin that grows around from face to face to face.
Those are lyrics. From a song. But our main geezer Ebeneezer is far from refined and sublime, nor does he makes you feel fine and nor is he ever so good. Our man Ezer is a drug fueled, immoral, insane speedfreak who loves to see people suffer. That's why he watches CNN so often. He may be mysterious indeed, for he always wears a pair of sunglasses, even at night. Ezer, he's up to no good, always starting trouble in your neighbourhood. He loves to get other people into fights, but rather prefers himself to stand on the side and watch. He's quite a humorous guy, though, often poking fun at other heroes or villains or himself. It's not uncommon to see Ezer flying around in a Superman-suit.

History:
The prehistory of this geezer is far from interesting. Hailing from the bad part of town of London, Ezer almost grew up to be a crook. He got addicted to cocaine, arrested for possession and distribution and overdosed in prison at 29 years of age. Not much spectacular there.

However, the story doth continue its course. Or else it would be a very short and boring history.

Ezer's body was dug up or recollected or whatever by a curious scientist. In any way, his dead body got into the possesion of this man of science. And this man of science was very much interested in the process of reanimation (don't those people ever learn?). So he hooked up Ezer's dead corpse to a humongous machine. Flipped the switch. Hundreds of thousands of volts coursed through the body, doing nothing, actually. Frankenstein experiment 1 failed.
So he tried it again and again and started to dabble in the black arts too (no, not in african music, you dumb fuck, in evil magic). And this time it succeeded. Sort of. Dumb scientists. Don't they ever learn? Whereas Ezer's body got repossessed with his previously already twisted soul, mister Science's soul got sucked out of him. But how could he know the dark gods needed a tribute, right?

Anyway, the process of dying and rebirth usually changes a man, especially when one goes through hell and back. You guess it; Ezer's soul got horribly mutilated, every bad aspect amplified a hundred times. Seering amount of supernatural energies surrounded his body, coursed through his eyes, mutating them into amazingly powerfull and focused psychic emitters. And thus the man known as Ebeneezer Goode became a tool of destruction of the Dark Gods. Pretty suckish, innit?

Well, that's not all, because what is a history without a bit bloodshed (boring? hell yes!)? Ebeneezer escaped the facility, rejoicing his newly found powers, murdering almost every single soul present with a single scapel, of which the blade broke off at the first kill. And after that he kind of continue the life he had been living before death, be it far more disturbed. But as police attention increased on his neighbourhood and on Ezer himself, he decided to flee to the States.

Powers:
Perfect flight - Ezer is able to fly in virtually any posture due to the supernatural energies that surround him. He often pokes fun at this by carrying brooms (while dressing up as a wizard) or umbrella's (whille cross-dressing as Mary Poppins) with him. Quite often he will pretend that he is riding a motorcycle, while in fact, he obviously does not. Quite often also at breakneck speeds.

Undead healing - As long as Ezer's head is still attached to his body, he can heal wounds in matter of minutes, even when knocked out, even when severely burnt. In fact, due to Ezer already being dead, he is virtually immortal. However, Ezer's body is unable to move without a direct connection to the head. The more parts you chop from him, the slower the regeneration rate will be. In effect, when decapitated, Ezer's head will live on and continue to regrow his body, which will take several months, and even longer when the head's stored regularly in a box.
Not to be unforgotten; Ezer is in no way immune to any poison, disease, radiation or chemical compound. He simply just does not die from it (nor does he mutate).Though a heart attack might cause his bodily funtions to cease, making him appear dead. However, a defibrilator or an equally strong zzzzzap of electricity will most revive that annoying bastard.

Painless - Ezer feels virtually no pain. Or more precise: he does not experience it as hurtful, but rather as fun and exciting and stimulating. In fact, his entire essence is build upon the purpose to inflict suffering. It feeds his rotten soul.

Weaknesses:
Drugs - Ezer is heavily addicted to uppers, such as speed, XTC and cocaine. In effect, if he is not regularly hooked up on these highly illegal (who gives a damn?) substances, he will most likely suffer from severe withdrawal. Which is not funny, even to someone who gets off on his own suffering.
Plus, he's almost always doped up on something. That's not really usefull in combat.

Empathic - Ezer takes a delight in the psychic output that suffering people send out. However, this also makes him very much vulnerable to psychic attacks, since he always wanders around with an open mind. Open to agony.
Next to that is sensory deprivation nigh-lethal to him. When subjected to prolonged periods of boredom and nothing-ness, his body will shrivel to a thin husk in which his ever-thirsting soul houses.

Power Grid:
STR: 1
SPD: 5
END: 3
INT: 2
EP: 6
Regen - 5
Feel no pain- 1
FS: 3

As always, Soap is awesome.

I do say that something like Pain Sight should have more than 1 EP.

When staring directly into Ezer's eyes (I repeat; DIRECTLY), this pain (or at least a part of it) is psychically transferred to the victim, causing his or her nervous system to haywire, sending massive amounts of seering agony through the victim's body. LOL

It seems more than four EP than one EP. One EP would imply just a bit of a headache, not the drastic effects you wrote.

Spoiler:

Four matches your Pain Sight ability better than 1 does. Otherwise, it seems super.

Yeah, that would be better. However, I want to keep his awesome regeneration.
So, in that case: Pain Sight, meet Dustbin.
