Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

The Legacy |
Personality: Patriotic, faithful, and willing to do anything for Queen and Country, Loveday is a woman who has a great belief in good, and the resources to do something about it. A devout Christian, she has very clearly defined morals, and passes these on to her children, her friends, her coworkers, everyone she meets. A woman who can handle power, loves knowledge, and believes in the greater good. She is truly a shining example of a patriotic Englishwoman. Loveday has lived her life quite militaristically, first serving in the Middle East, then in a black operations unit with the British government, earning the title of Staff Sergeant, although she has since removed herself from military operations, at least national ones. Her career in the military has instilled a great sense of order and militant duty in her, with a finely tempered respect for the armed forces. Her family history has given Loveday a predisposition for knowledge seeking, and she continues to love books, research, and all manner of study into magic. Loveday is a mage, a patriot, a businessman, and a mother, one who exudes honor and bravery. History: The Ellsworth Estate, a mansion just outside of Oxford, this would be the place where Loveday Fairbrooks Ellsworth Trismegistus would be born, to the Lord and Lady Ellsworth, Arthur and Marian, and become heir to the Ellsworth Fortune, and future proprietor of Ellsworth Industries. The Ellsworth family is one with a complex and overly magical history, although one easily summarized. The great magician Hermes Trismegistus had many children by many wives, and these children scattered all across the world, carrying their magical talent with them. Eventually, they would come to Britain, where they would take the title of nobility and form the beginnings of the Ellsworth line, in the early 1200s. These men and women served the King or Queen in secret, offering their magical talents in service to Britain. The family had lately expanded into business, as great oil tycoons, amassing billions in profits each year. This process has been significantly helped along by the fact that many family magicians are capable of transmuting water into oil, a tad bit unscrupulous, but it pays the bills. Loveday was the oldest of three daughters, the other two being Martha and Rose Ellsworth, and was born shortly before the Lady Ellsworth lost her ability to birth children due to old age, and so, without the possibility of a male heir being produced, became the heir to Ellsworth Industries, the Ellsworth Family Fortune, and the Ellsworth Matriarch status. Loveday grew up alongside her sisters, cousins, and extended family, learning of all the magical secrets that Hermes Trismegistus hid away within the Ellsworth Family Library, and slowly becoming a masterful wizard. When she reached the age of twenty-five, she decided to live up to the Ellsworth name, and serve Queen and Country. This would be accomplished by enlisting with the military. Her father had been a serviceman; her grandfather had been in the service, and many before them, it was only right. This being a modern time, and her name carrying more than a little clout, Loveday was moved into a frontline combat unit, after going through training with ease. She excelled in marksmanship, and was soon designated as a sniper. The violence of war had her in its cold grip soon enough, she had seen enough murder and violence to last her a lifetime, although the military was not without its advantages. She got to see the world, and met quite a few great people. Her military career was quite uneventful; she advanced through the ranks rapidly, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant in her thirteenth year with the military, when she was thirty-eight. In this time, her military accomplishments had been relayed to her family, and through her family to the British Government. The Minister of Defense, being one of the few who knew the true nature of the Ellsworth Family, decided to pull her out for a special Black Operations Division. The unit was known as Magi, its purpose was to gather magic users and focus their talents on covert operations. While with Magi, Loveday met a man named Gerald Walters, who would become her lover, and eventually, her husband. He was also a powerful mage, and the two got along splendidly, marrying after a few years. Their happy life would come to an end quite abruptly, during an anti-terrorism mission that would go horribly, horribly wrong. Magi had been called in to deal with a terrorist group rampaging their way through the heart of London, and were doing quite well until one of the terrorists started throwing fireballs around. Magic, they were used to, but it soon became apparent that he was no mage, rather a metahuman with a grudge against the government. The entire team was massacred, all except for Loveday and Gerald. The two had just managed to clean up the remaining terrorists, when another mysteriously appeared. This one slammed into Gerald, burning him alive, and was about to do the same to Loveday, but she had a magical spear with his name on it already heading towards his head. The man practically exploded, and Loveday immediately went over to Gerald. She tried healing him, she really tried, but he died, his last words being "What a lovely day Loveday…" Within the next week, after a bit of psychotherapy, Loveday found out that she was pregnant. The last thing Gerald had given her was a child. Thirty-eight and retired from the military, Loveday would give birth to a bouncing baby boy, Harold Fairbrooks Ellsworth Trismegistus, and go back to the quiet life at the Ellsworth Estate. Magi had been effectively disbanded, although the British defense ministry always knows they can call on Loveday when magic is involved in a crisis. After years of life as an oil tycoon and noblewoman, at the age of fifty, Loveday has become the leader of the Ellsworth family, a commander to their mages, a teacher to their students, and a loving mother to her son. She has recently made forays into fighting crime and the like, putting the full power of the Ellsworth family into protecting not only Britain, but the world. |
