History: The history of the Earth has remained the exact same as real life until 2008. Even then, we didn't get massive splits from reality until 2012. In 2008, the UN formed an organization dedicated to defeating supernatural or superhuman threats. This organization was headed by a man named Pain, and was called Guardians of the United Nations, or GUN. In direct contrast, a villain named Chaos formed an organization called SCAR, an organization of villains dedicated to defeating GUN. These two groups fought constantly, and caused so much collateral damage that no company in the world would insure New York City Hall.

In 2012, USA allowed Japan the right to have a military and declare war. The Indian economy exploded and grew insanely quickly.

In 2012, USA left Iraq. The next year, they left Afghanistan.

In 2018, SCAR disbanded and a new organization called FEARE was formed.

Things more or cruised along until 2024, when stuff really began to happen on a global scale. Early 2024, a demonic invasion of Earth occured. And I mean evil, sadistic Satanic demons invaded the Earth. 223 million died worldwide, 2 million died in New York alone. The demons left when their leader, Raide, was killed by a group of superheroes and supervillians working together for survival.

The demonic invasion had an interesting effect on religious faiths, explained later. The United Nations created a special tasks place dedicated to exterminating supernatural threats to the Earth. In late 2024, a terrorist attack killed off the Premier of China, and a new one stepped up, who was far more oppressive than the last.

In 2025, FEARE disbanded and the North Korean government fell. Japan and South Korea went in, and are negotiating land.

Awareness of the supernatural and superhuman: The typical human is aware of superheroes and villains and probably name off some of the famous ones. Superhumans are a noted fact, and most people nod and accept they exist. However, humans are far less aware of the supernatural. The only part of the supernatural typical humans are fully aware exists are demons. Oh, there are always rumors about werewolves, vampires, angels, elves, and such, but they are just rumors.

How wrong they are.

Please provide more information for mythical creatures here. I know there is a lot of mythical beings in this rp, and I can't figure them all out, but we have to make sure we all don't contradict each other.

Elena's big plan appears to rely on killing God or some similar thing, and he appears to be under the misconception God is a proven thing in this world. I invite him to read this.
