"In the end, it was a child that started the war. An Indian boy who lost his family to the high-explosive the Pakistanis supposedly dropped on the Himalayas threw a rock at a Pakistani soldier on the other side of the border, the Indian soldiers being incredibly slow to stop him.
There was a massive shootout, and less than a few hours after this event, the governments of Pakistan and India officially declared war on each other." Azad said, reading off a newspaper, and threw it down.
Nightkill took a drink of his orange juice, and looked at Azad. "What allies has Pakistan gathered? What allies has India gathered?" he asked his butler.
"Pakistan was extremely eager to find allies, sir, seeing as they would have easily been defeated had they not. Currently, the nations of Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq and Saudi Arabia are aiding them."
"So most of the tyrannical parts of the Middle East." Nightkill sighed. "Well, technically Afghanistan isn't, and neither is Pakistan, but they are both pretty close."
"Yes, sir. Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and Pakistan claim to have democracies, but most of the world hasn't actually seen these claims in action." Azad said dryly. "And Saudi Arabia doesn't even pretend."
"India's allies?" Nightkill asked.
"India has fewer allies. Nepal and Sri Lanka are aiding them, and so is Bangladesh, but we may as well ignore the last one. Burma and Thailand are remaining neutral, as is the West. Russia is officially neutral, but I heavily expect them to give weapons and men to India's defense. As per your orders, China is also neutral." Azad said.
Nightkill nodded, and sat down. "Well, John," he said, "I believe it's time for a trip."

A few hours later, he was on a plane headed for Amritsar, India. He knew very well that Amritsar might be heavily attacked, due to it's closeness to Pakistan. That's exactly what he was hoping for.
Pulling out his laptop, he began thinking about the war. India's side had superior weaponry and the strength of numbers, but with the exception of Sri Lanka, they were poorly trained. In contrast, Pakistan's side had poor weaponry, was smaller, but they were all very well-trained. It would be a close battle, really.
And then there was Russia, Thailand and Burma. He expected the latter two to firmly stay out of this, but Russia had a history of taking opportunities if they saw them. Just like me, he thought to himself with a smile.
China would have been a massive trouble had Nightkill not taken control. He was very thankful for Ferrum and Malady's blundering now. They never could have suspected what he would do.
There was also Japan. Nightkill had heavy suspicions that the Japanese had a superhuman program, but no proof. The Japanese tended to be quite expansionist, and Nightkill was hoping that their fear of China would keep them from interfering. They could screw everything up.
The plane landed. Nightkill got his stuff and called for a rickshaw. He would go to a hotel, drop off his stuff, and then head toward the border. There was going to be blood there. He knew it.

He wasn't disappointed. It was quite easy to just walk to the border. He could hear the gunshots from the suburbs of Amritsar, to tell the truth.
Ducking, he barely dodged a bullet that was aiming at him. Of course, he looked quite Indian, so his form would obviously cause some fire at him. He pulled out his own handgun and fired at the Arab soldier who tried to shoot him. The man went down.
He looked at the dead. There was a near literal sea of blood, and many were tripping over the bodies of their dead comrades.
Why had he come here? He wondered to himself.
Because he had caused this, even if it was indirectly. And he needed to be here, to see what he had done. He looked up at the sky, and chuckled, a bullet barely missing him again. It was really not best to have reflective thoughts in a warzone.
If the news was to be believed, this was barely a battle. It was barely a minor skirmish compared to what was happening in Kashmir. He looked at his hands guilty. Perhaps he should just finish this, in favor of the Pakistanis. India looked like it would win, and frankly, Nightkill couldn't have China's rival for Asian supremacy come out of this even stronger. He raised his hand, which glowed yellow with energy.
He unleashed the energy on the Indians, who were wiped out in minutes, much to the shock of the Pakistanis. When they could see again, the mysterious man was gone, and the Indian army was obliterated.

God save us everyone,
Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns?
For the sins of our hand
The sins of our tongue
The sins of our father

Nightkill ran back to Amritsar. He felt it. That bizarre emotion that he had felt and felt constantly, for years now.
Guilt.
He had begun to feel guilt four years ago, and began pondering the actions he had taken earlier in his life, began wondering if they were moral, began wondering if he could take them back...
He hadn't felt guilt for over eight decades. Why on earth was it happening now? It made making decisions far more difficult.
He knew the Pakistani army was now entering the border toward Amristar. He had done it. Him. There would be a bloodbath at Amritsar, which he had caused.
For the greater good. He muttered to himself. It made the pain go away. A bit.

Re: The War begins, the world turns
Dr.Everyone walked through the minefield of bodies outside of Amritsar. He had been traveling to India to "participate" in the war. He had been heading to Pakistan and wouldn't have noticed this town had he not saw a jet land near it. A jet in a warzone? Definitely something to check out. So he walked through the outskirts, stepping on bodies, not caring about anything he did. Stepping on a dead man's face? His chest? He could care less. The sight of these bodies didn't even make him wince. Some said he had no morals. This was wrong He had many morals, and by them everything he was doing and had did since his accident was wrong. The few who new this thought he was insane. Wrong again. He simply ignored his morals. Some say it's impossible to do this but Dr.Everyone could do it.
He stepped into the city and immediately a bullet whizzed past his head. He looked around and saw the soldier who had shot at him, reloading his clip.
Dr.Everyone shot a ball of fire at the lone soldier, just after he said "Someone call for a medic."
The soldier fell to the ground, dead, with a burn mark straight through his torso. A soldier next to him ran as Dr.Everyone morphed into the exact likeness of the soldier he had just killed.
"Seems I've been...drafted."

Re: The War begins, the world turns
By now, Amy had gotten used to the business trips that Nightkill occasionally went on. She had preferred to tag along, rather than be left behind in boredomville. Once in a while on the business trips, she would get a small adventure or experience that would be logged in her memory. While Nightkill took a Rickshaw to get to the hotel, Amy was delayed on the jet and was forced to take a cab. Hauling a duffel bag over her shoulder, it had the things she would need for the trip.
Getting into the vehicle, she pulled out a small booklet that could help her communicate with the driver. Directing him to the location, the cab started to pick up speed towards its destination. She pulled out a laptop from her duffel bag, plugged in some headphones and booted up her computer to play some music. She wouldn't let the device consume her entire attention though, as she looked out the window to the city. They soon arrived at the border, and she couldn't believe her eyes. Though she knew about the unrest in this part of the world, she hadn't expected such bloodshed. She turned her head away from the window, and refused to look back, keeping her eyes on the computer.
The cab driver stopped the car and turned to her, talking in a foreign language. She put her headphones down and scrambled through the booklet to try and find out what he was saying. Apparently he didn't want to go further than this point. She flipped through the booklet to try and ask him to find an alternate route, when a spray of bulletfire bombarded the vehicle. The driver ducked down, as well as Amy. The glass windshield shattered after a 5th shot, and the driver put his foot down hard on the gas pedal. The vehicle's tires screeched as it stormed through the border gates and into the fray.
The loud vehicle only gained more attention, and several of the soldiers began to join in on the volley fire. Amy reacted by turning into a misty vapor of water in the back seat of the car, as the vehicle was punched through by bullets. Though Amy was safe, the driver was pierced in the back by a stray bullet. The driver leaned on the steering wheel and the vehicle drifted off the road and crashed into a wall. The assailants held their fire, while Amy remained in the vehicle. She had hoped they would leave her for dead so that she could leave the vehicle as quickly as possible. To where, she hadn't figured that out yet.

Re: The War begins, the world turns
The Pakistani captain was saying something to his troops-and Everyone- in Urdu. An Arab soldier translated in English, and another translated in Arabic for those who didn't understand Urdu. "We will take advantage of this strange event and go to Amritsar. It's not too far away, only 51 kilometers. We will kill any we see on the way there. Perhaps this war will end early and our Pakistani comrades will gain the power they deserve, inshallah." he finished.
"We shall walk. Some of the others will ride in tanks all the way to Amritsar." the Arab soldier who was speaking English said. He nodded to Everyone's group, who all stood up, guns ready. "Let us kill the infidel Hindostanis." he said with a smile.
-------------------------------------
Everyone's group was the same group that had proceeded to come near Mist's cab, and shot the driver. They might have continued, believing nobody could have survived that, when Mist's cell phone rang.
--------------------------------------
Nightkill waited on the line, unaware of the trouble he may have just caused. He had to warn Mist not to go to the border. The Pakistani and Arab forces would want to slaughter anyone in their way, and it would be trouble if Mist went to the border like they originally planned. He hoped she was still at the airport.

Re: The War begins, the world turns
Dr.Everyone was still in the form of the Pakistani soldier. He had sat through the speech, and was now paired off with a group. He hadn't minded too much. All he had to do was follow the group. He'd kill them when he got the chance. But right now, he had to play along. He had in his hand the gun that had previously been used to shoot at him. He had taken the gun from the soldier who he was currently disguised as.
He approached the cab with the rest of his group. Nobody had wanted to move because they thought all were dead. But then a cell phone rang and they all started moving a bit cautiously. Dr.Everyone had to act cautious, he was not afraid of anything. They got to the cab and the leader of the group pointed at Dr.Everyone and said to check the car. Dr.Everyone smiled and went to the door.
The glass was shattered and the front of the car totaled. The driver could be seen, slumped over and dead in the drivers seat. Dr.Everyone opened the back door and looked inside. A woman was there. The phone had already stopped ringing. Dr.Everyone told the group leader that there was someone there, and he said to check if she was alive, which she was. The final order was to kill her. Dr.Everyone raised the gun, not hesitating to argue that the woman would be worth more alive. All he saw was an opportunity to get closer to completing his goal. A world void of life.

Re: The War begins, the world turns
The militants slowly walked towards the car, as she tried to think of a plan to get out of here without revealing her power. Her cell phone started to go off, and she grasped it trying to shut it up. The soldiers only seemed more confident to approach the vehicle by the sound. She didn't have enough time to look up what the guards were saying in Urdu but she read the body language.
When they raised their rifles towards the vehicle she transformed into a cloud of mist. Bullets streamed into the car and whizzed past and through her harmlessly. While it may have shocked the guards, she had to escape. The ghostlike figure of Amy pushed herself through the window of the car and tried to run down the streets.
She had left all her possessions behind, she didn't have an opportunity to grab all her things before changing her state. But if she had carried them, they would have slowed her down. She had to evade the soldiers. The closest outlet was an open window of a building, that had steel bars covering it to avoid thieves. She threw her body into it, the bars easily streaming through her as she entered the building. Her first instinct was to get to higher ground before the guards could get to the entrance. If she had to, she would fight back.

(Mist's clothes are attached to her. When in contact with objects, the objects can transform as well depending on her concentration level. [the taxi she was inside will not transform unless she specifically attempts to, for it is large]. She didn't have her cell phone in hand, so she doesn't have it. She can't transform people yet. Needs a higher EP level.)

Re: The War begins, the world turns
Dr.Everyone pulled the trigger, only after the girl had disappeared into a cloud. One might call it a mist. Was she a ghost? Unlikely. A super? Definitely. Dr.Everyone morphed out of the soldier form, as the soldiers eyes widened and their jaws dropped.
"I'm sorry, but I was sick of being filthy piece of shit. it's not your race. It's the fact that your alive. But I'll fix that."
Dr.Everyone summoned fire in his hands as the soldiers aimed their weapons. He threw both of the fire balls, weakly. They dissipated upon contact and caused the soldiers to be lit on fire, instead of the fireballs going through them as they had the first soldier Dr.Everyone killed. The others hesitated out of shock and fear, but Dr.Everyone made quick work of them with a wave of fire. One had the intelligence to duck and fire at Dr.Everyone, but he summoned a wall of fire, which after it melted the bullets shot at him, was thrown at and killed the last soldier.
Dr.Everyone walked after the girl. He had no hurry. The girl was as good as dead. The girl would have looked for somewhere to hide. The closest place. The first place. And the first place that he came to was a building. The closest entrance was a barred window. It could be possible for her to get in that way. Or maybe she used to door. Maybe she ran on to another building. Couldn't hurt to check.
He kicked in the door and covered himself in fire. This worked as a scare tactic, and could be used as an attack later on.
"Come out girlie. I won't hurt you. I'lll only KILL YOU!"

Re: The War begins, the world turns
Nightkill tried to call Mist again, but got no response, the cell phone being in the car. He swore. "Damn!" Something big must have happened if she wasn't answering.
I'll kill the person who's giving her trouble. He swore to himself mentally. They will suffer. More gunshots rang out. The Pakistani and Arab soldiers had ridden in on tanks, and they were near the outskirts of Amritsar. The Indians had guessed that this Sikh city would be a target, and there were already soldiers here, along with the ordinary police force.
Nightkill sighed. Amritsar had been a victim of a massacre before, a century ago in 1919. More blood would be spilled this time. The Indians fired at the Pakistanis, who fired back. Blood was already being spilled.
Nightkill saw a tank missile coming at a group of terrified Indians. They seemed to be mostly Sikhs as far as Nightkill could tell, the men wearing turbans and such. He turned away and heard screams cut off too soon.
He began to run farther into the city. He would need to be safe when they went in deeper. All the while he frantically tried to call Mist. If she needed help, he'd be coming back at full speed, and God help anyone in his way.
