The Looks

Green has always been Avian's favorite color: he wears a absolute ton of green clothing and he's almost always seen in his trademark green suit, no matter how battered it may be at some point. He always spends far too much money making sure that suit is in good shape: it's an important item to him.

When it comes to his costume for Superheroics, Avian's not one to shy away from his favorite color. The main color of his suit is emerald green, though it certainly isn't the only color. Avian's suit is skintight and simple: the only part of his body not covered in a unique spandex-like material is his mouth. The suit's design is mainly made for simplicity and comfort rather than armor. Avian has various streaks and spikes of red on his suit in order to break from the monotony of the costume. Avian's chest area is entirely in white along with a large stripe of white starting at his forehead and ending at the back of his neck. The most unique part of Avian's costume is a pair of golden goggle-like objects he uses to cover his eyes that manage to be extremely expressive. Another unique piece of the costume is the utility belt... if you could call it that. Attached to it are two holsters for a large dagger and a revolver along with Avian's cell phone. It's a fairly simple belt with a couple extra pouches for whatever Avian manages to find.

The Legacy

Personality: From a young age, Avian has always wanted to help people. He's essentially devoted his entire life to helping people, and he's extremely proud of that fact. Avian has always wanted to be a hero: not necessarily a super one, but a hero in general. Avian grew up in an era where comics, movies and TV shows based upon Superheroes were prevalent, and these stories of superheroics always managed to inspire Avian. Because of this, Avian is still a little naive of the kind of sacrifice he might have to make or what will happen if he's pushed too far.

Avian is earnest and kind, certainly: he's a very polite guy and is generally seen as charismatic by the people he meets. He's fairly loyal to his friends and he's a fairly nice guy. Sometimes, however, pressure from his dual life as a Private Investigator and Superhero can lead to him being overstressed: he's the kind of person that bottles things up and lets them explode. Also, Avian can have his own self-interests get ahead of him. Avian is knowledgeable that at any time he's a step away from poverty: if there's a chance for him to steal some money after fighting a super villain and get away with it, he'll do it. At the end of the day, he has to make ends' meet in order to keep living the way he does.

History: Avian's parents were the type who wanted to see the world. His father was in the military for this very reason and every few years, Avian and his parents would move. Unlike a lot of other kids who would've hated this kind of thing, Avian actually really enjoyed it: he was fairly good at keeping in contact with the people he thought were important. Avian was happy to have this unique opportunity: he got the chance to see things a lot of other people would never see in a lifetime. Ultimately, this ended up changing his worldview for the better after going to places like California, Japan, Ireland, India, North Africa and Brazil during his childhood and adolescence.

The most important moment in Avian's life happened in the third grade. A friend of Avian's died in a car crash and it was Avian's first real encounter with death. For a couple weeks, Avian had a hard time sleeping: he had constant nightmares about his friend, wishing that somehow, he had been able to save him. This incident in his childhood ultimately led him to want to save people and help people.

When Avian turned fourteen, he began realizing that he had powers: he was moving far quicker than he used to and his brain was thinking far quickly than it had before. Avian realized soon that this power was his gift: this was how he was going to save people. Around this time, he began reading a lot of mystery novels, and so he decided that he'd become a private eye as his "day job". As soon as Avian decided what he would do, he began educating himself on not only superheroics but detective work. By the time he was nineteen, he managed to get a Private Investigator license and began his business at the age of twenty.

The Powers

Power 1: Reflexive Super Speed: Avian's Super Speed is a little more specialized than other kinds of super speed. His speed is more based upon reflex movements and reactions rather than running really, really fast: though he can still run really, really fast, just not as fast as someone else with more of a focus in doing so would. As an effect of Avian's Super Speed, his bodily functions and organs, including the brain, work much more quicker than the average organ. Due to this, Avian can ingest information and think quicker than the normal man.
