Elena vs Frost

Frost chose her as his opponent. Not the wisest of choices, but that was his choice. So he had to live with it. She got up from her sitting position. Motioning for Frost to follow her. Leading him to a wide open part of the feild. Choosing to keep her distance from the others when she fought. Her spells could hit another if she ddin't have any room. So when the other members were but a speck on her sight she stopped. Turning to face Frost. "Now that we are away from scrutinizing ears. I need to ask you a serious question. Why are you here?" She sighed rubbing the bridge of her nose. "I want you to understand the severity of this. If you slip up. You could die. Chaos would kill you with no remorse. Without a second though. So would Victor. To them your just a stupid kid. So before we fight i just want to make sure you understand your situation." She was acting like a mother without intending to. After all she didn't want to be the one who didn't warn the kid enough. He had promise. No need to snuff that gift out when it could do so much. Whether for good or evil was yet to be seen. Elena had to test that out.

Frost could tell that Elena was being more motherly than she probably intended but it was alright with him, he thought it was kind of cute. “I’m here for my own reasons,” he said with a nonchalant attitude, it was getting easier to act this way and he was not nearly as nervous as he had been before which he knew was stupid. “This entire thing was your idea,” he said turning away from her, showing his back but not letting down his guard, his head tilted to the sky he felt the rain hit his face. It felt good. The he spoke as if to the wind, “I won’t refuse a challenge though.”

He turned again , this time making it so he was looking at her, “I’ll fight as hard as I can I promise.” Frost lowered into a defensive stance, he knew from before that Elena had some powerful magic on her side, he was ready for it, or at least he thought he was. He knew that this was not going to be an easy fight and that he was probably going to get his ass kicked roundly but it would not be because he didn’t try to win.

Elena smiled. He had conviction. She had to give him that. "Fine i'll let this go on. try not to die." She said as the green symbol on her chest glowed a light green. Power rippled throguh her body. Then she held both hands tot he side. Wide apart. Bringing them togewther hard at full power. As a slight sonic boom erupted. Aimed directly at frost. She had seen this performed before. She had enough strength to make a sonic wave. Though this was just a test to see if Frost could dodge, or take the hit. After all she knew what his power was. Water manipulation. She knew all about that particular power. After all she was the one who trained Sean in using his power. So it was in her advantage to have this fight.

Elena had made the first move, sending a sonic boom right for Frost. It was fast and it was quickly closing in on him but Frost was used to being attacked without warning. He was however expecting to have to dodge so he had been building the water pressure under his left foot for just in case of a long ranged attack. Unleashing it he launched himself to the right and avoided the brunt of the blast but he had still been hit pretty hard on the arm, it would leave a bruise, but he’d be fine it would just be a little hard to move his right arm.

Rolling to a quick stance position he pulled as much water to his left hand and shot it as hard as he could but given that he was using his left hand, his non-dominant hand, and how sudden he was doing this it might not be more than enough to knock Elena over. If it even hits her.

The water attack rushed at her. Though she didn't bother to dodge it. She held her palm up. As it slammed into it. Only budging her slightly. Wincing from the sting it had. The the symbols covering her left arm glowed bright red. Flames seeping from her palm. As they surrounded her arm. Not touching it one bit. Going out in a torrent of hungry flames. She only gave it the intensity of a flamethrower. That went out far and fast. It wouldn't kill him. Hopefully anyway. She didn't need to go and kill a recruit. That wouldn't look good for her.

The fire overcame his jet of water with almost no effort what so ever, this was not going to be an easy battle but Frost had known that from the very beginning. Something told him that Elena was not using her full power, not yet at least, which was not good since that meant he was only being toyed with. That made Frost angry. He did not like being played with like some fool. He could feel the anger start to boil in his veins, almost as though the fire had already reached him.

Pulling the water around him up and over creating a dome meant to protect him from the flames, something that he felt should be relatively easy. Once the fire was gone and done for Frost made to make his next move, which he thought could be enough to show how serious he was about this fight. Dispersing the water dome, he jumped so that his body was parallel to the ground and spinning as fast as he could go. He pulled water up and around into a loop following the paths his arms were making, using the speed generated by the spin he threw several buzz saws of ice straight for where Elena stood.

Frost landed with his legs and his left hand hitting the ground, he tried to protect his right arm, which was still sore from Elena’s sonic boom attack. “Let’s see how you take that,” Frost yelled to his opponent as he tried to cover up the pain he felt coursing through his arm.

The saws came at her at decent speeds. Though Elena has time to react. As she reached out catching a saw blade. As the membrane of her etheral sheild came over her skin. Ice saw hitting the barrier. Not harming her palm. Then she threw it at another saw. As they crashed midair. Shattering. While the other blade came faster then she expected. Striking at her side. Somehow cutting her sheild. Nicking her side. Drawing a small amount of blood. It stung a little. Elena got agitated. As the magic welled up within her lungs. WOrds of power coursing through her head. Has she held her hand palm up infront of her mouth. Blowing as winds with the force of a hurricane came forth from her mouth. All to blow the boy away. He had put himself in a dangerous situation.

Frost felt the wind get stronger and stronger, pretty soon he wouldn’t be able to even stay on the ground let alone keep fighting. This was a harder fight than he had thought it would be, having seen her use some moves a few days ago Frost had thought he’d have a bit of an edge against the woman but that clearly was not the case. There didn’t look like there was a whole lot that he could do to dodge the attack directed at him but then he had an idea.

He got low to the ground putting his hands on the ground. There was plenty of water around him for what he was about to do and he would take that to its full advantage. He began to freeze all the water around him as fast as he could, not easy when everything is being blown around, soon he was frozen in a thick layer of ice. This would block the wind hopefully until it was all over but it was hard to tell, there were too many variables to take into account.

The boy no matter what had a plan. He proved himself. Yet Elena didn't feel like hew would make a good member of S.C.A.R. He was hot headed. If a hero goaded him. The boy would attack without thought. That would mean him being captured. Maybe eve ruining his school life. Since he had to be young enough for school. So Elena really regretted giving him the invitation to join S.C.A.R, It was a mistake. Yet now she dealt with it. Rushing forward. Till she was a few feet in front of him. Slamming her fist into the ground. As it rippled and tore. Picking up a suitable peice. Chunking it at Frost full speed. Knowing at how fast she threw it. The hit would only at the most break his arm.Which she was aiming to do. Then hopefully he would stop fighting. Then again the boy was stubborn. Now things were getting annoying.

It was hard to tell if the wind was still too much for Frost to handle so he thought he might as well thaw and see if things still looked bad out there, since there really was not anything else he could do. Thawing the ice from the inside out was the safest way of doing things, that way he would keep his outer shielding intact. Then something Frost had not expected happened, a large chunk of land crashed into the side of his ice shield, crashing through the ice almost as though it was nothing. The ice deflected some of the debris and the water absorbed a little bit as well but Frost was still pushed back from what managed to hit him.

Being thrown back from his barrier Frost almost skipped across the hard wet dirt. He hit the ground on his right side damaging his already beat up arm. Elena was still a ways away so Frost had time to survey if he was alright or not, touching his right arm told him all he needed to know, it was definitely dislocated and would not be up to fighting anymore. Things were looking bad for Frost. Looking up towards where Elena stood, the boy could only do one thing. Frost grit his teeth, this was going to hurt, rolling his limp right arm around until he felt it slide back into its socket, the pain was almost blinding but he refused to be put down.

Frost stood. He was beyond tired from the fight so far, and shouted to Elena, “Looks like you’ve had some practice at blowing.” Things were starting to get fuzzy and he still could not use his right arm, although at least it was not flopping around anymore, that was a plus. Taking up a fighting stance Frost was determined not to lose. No matter what the cost.

Sean looked over the unfolding fights with curiosity. Scanning them with great curiosity. Sothese were the members of the great S.C.A.R. Sean wasn't that impressed. Thought they would eb more evil. Well till the arm munching guy came along. Also he was taken aback by one fact. What was his mother doing here? She was supposed to be dead? This amde no sense whatsoever. Yet Sean had seen worse he supposed. Luckily he had not been caught by anyone with good senses. Staying downwind was a good idea. Then the fight with his mother and who looked like. Jack?!? Embarressing memories came to mind. Pushed back as sson as they came. What was he doing here? maybe this was the group he was talking about. Worried he commaneded a slide of ice to form. All the way to where Jack was. Jumping on it and sliding. Trying to keep momentum as he went on. Jumping off with an excellent dismount. As the rain made him wet and soaked. Hair black with blonde hightlights matted down. All his clothes soaked. Tight black jeans with ripped up knees clung to him like a second skin as welll as his graopghic tee. Rings in his left eyebrow and right side of his lip also covered in water. Eyes somehow seemed like an icy white now. Giving Sean a more supernatural look. "Sorry i was late Jack. What i miss?" He saw that the guy was hurt. Sending a twing of worry through him. He liked the guy. He had to admit that much. Jack was a nice guy. Too nice to be caught up with a crowd like this. Sean for a second forgot his mother was even there. He tended to do that when he was talking to boys.

Sean was right next to Frost faster than he had realized with everything getting so crazy, that and the fact that he was starting to lose his vision from exhaustion. “I seem to have gotten myself in deeper shit than I intended,” he said to respond to the other teens question, Frost was being modest though since he had a good idea things were going to get bed from before he had even gotten there. “Nothing I can’t handle though,” Frost said as he stepped forward ready to keep on fighting. He had said it more than once, “I’m not giving up.”

Blood streamed down the left side of his face getting in his eye and obscuring his vision even more. Frost brought his hand up to the cut and pulled the blood itself from his face and froze it with his powers. The iron and other minerals in the hot crimson liquid would make it stronger and more deadly than just simply using water, he through the icicle as hard as he could straight at Elena with his left hand.

The boy just didn't give up. What was the word for it? Oh yes a stubborn jackass. The etheral sheild expanded. As the blood shard sliced into it. Angle now slightly off. As it only scraped Elenas thigh. Then she noticed Sean. Her son. Who she had been looking for a long time. "Sean!?! Oh my god its really you! I never thought i would see you again." She said before sh realized it. Happines drowned out reason. It was just her motherly instinct. It was way toos tring. Stronger than the pain her wounds gave her. Now she found ehr son. Hope formed.

"Mom i thought you were dead. How the hell did this happen? " Sean was genuinly happy. He had missed hi mother for so long. Even if she was beating this cute guy up. It was a pleasent suprise she was here. "What are you doing with S.C.A.R?" That was his next question. WHy was she with S.C.A.R> He had to know. After all that would mot likely mean she was an enemy of Pain. Pain could hurt even her. Something Sean didn't want.

“Wait,” Frost was definitely confused now, “you two are related?” He never would have thought that these two could have been related, well they did look kind of a like standing next to each other and they did act like each other sort of. Frost was out of it but that was a given since he was delirious due to pain, blood lose, and exhaustion. The young beat up water manipulator refused to let his guard down, this could be some sort of trick devised by Elena, he was not sure. “Are you being serious or is this some sort of trick,” he still maintained his stance.
