The thrill of night

Dr.Everyone had been following the man for a while. He had heard his old nemesis Blood Wraith was back. That was impossible, he had died back in the demon war. Had he? Today, Dr.Everyone would find out.

So he walked, following him with ease. The supposed Blood Wraith kept moving, trying to see who was following him. Dr.Everyone however had chosen to walk where his face at least, couldn't be seen. Dr,Everyone only stepped closer, no fear about confrontation. Only joy that tonight might end with death.

Smoke encircled Dr.Everyone.

"Definitely has the same weapons as he did."

Then he felt it. A feeling that someone was behind him. Perfect.

Dr.Everyone turned around and shot a blast of fire right at whoever was behind him. He then flew into the air, out of the smoke, and landed on the other side of the roof.

"Would you like some fire for that smoke?"

Blood Wraith crossed his swords piercing the fire ball using the imense pressure behind it to do a back flip. He lands just behind the now visible Dr.Everyone ,Derek smiles a toothy and horrific grin as his adreneline levels begin to sky rocket.
"Do you know how long it took to regrow these eyebrows from our last encounter....like ten seconds, but do you know how long that could of taken." Blood Wraith sighs and shakes his head at Dr.Everyone, he then walks over to the ledge of the building taking a seat and placing his hands behind his head as he leans back. "Its just so hard to find a polite arch nemesis these days, I mean you would think that a scientist would have the common courtisy to introduce himself before he attacks.
Derek raises up removing four small throwing knives from his harness, he then spreads them apart for Dr.Everyone to see. Derek grins as he throws all four of them at once with a great deal of force behind them at the evil doctor. He then quickly disapears back into the dark moving swiftly he begins to throw his voice around the roof top. Do you know what they call me in transylvania..they call me the demon of the dark,but not because they are afraid i'm going to suck they're blood or anything but because no one has ever survived my attacks and you wont be the exception. Derek looks into the sky as the sun begins to slowly rise, he will now have to change up his newly formed plan.

"Polite? I'm hardly the polite type. Not very polite at all. But our little battles are different than others. As for keeping my identity secret, I wasn't sure it was you. I had been sure of your death in the demon attack in LA."

Dr.Everyone thought hard of an eagle. How it looked. It's body's characteristics. Then he willed he body to rearrange himself. To change. His body shrunk, his bones hollowed. His lips turned to a beak and feather came from skin. After only five seconds, a bald eagle stood where one of the most notorious villains had just been.

Then it burst into flames. The eagle was now emanating fire, from itself. The eagle now resembled a phoenix, the fiery birds of myth. The eagle-phoenix was Dr.Everyone. Dr.Everyone then took to the sky, flying after Blood Wraith. He spotted him and closed in with lightening speed. When he was only six feet behind Blood Wraith, he began breathing fire at Blood Wraith and shrieking like an Eagle.

"Those shots sounded like they came South-east of my position..." Red was speaking to himself, of course, a habit he had picked up while patroling the streets at night. He traveled from roof top to roof top towards where he heard the gun shots and soon spotted fire in the sky. The young vigilante ducked into the shadows, keeping his distance and observing what was happening. It is some sort of bird chasing that dark figure... Connor observed, at least one of these two were super-human in nature and Red began to ponder if he should get involved. The sound of shattered glass followed along with a scream of pain.

"I have no choice..." Red calmly said to himself as he jumped down the side of the building, expertly landing on a fire escape without makeing a sound and than performing a backward flip down onto a dumbster where his car had been parked. He popped open the trunk, revealing an assortment of gadgets that he could use and took hold of his modified grenade launcher along with five C02 rounds which he loaded into its revolver style loading mechanism. Each canister could put out a house fire, and it would come in handle incase that bird was hostile. Closing the trunk of his car Red made his way to the building which had a eletric lock and quickly broke its code entering through the back.

The building was dark, which would make it easy to spot the bird especially when he flipped his infered on his sunglassess. He now just had to wait and listen for the next move before he could intervene.
