Red Riding Hood (Me & Sam)

Swamp air always felt like you were chewing on a wet rag.

Beads of sweat ran down Bliss's neck, as she moved through the swamps of Louisiana. Roads in Louisiana ate tires, especially in backwater swamps, and now Bliss trudged through the mush ground in a light pair of converse. She wore a pair of mesh black shorts that hung just below her knees and a short sleeved red shirt to help deal with the overwhelming heat. Crickets chirped from unknown parts of the foliage, letting her know she wasn't alone in this swamp.

She carried a backpack with a parcel that she needed to deliver to a friend of hers. Months ago New York became a little to well watched for experiments to take place within the city limits. So much that she found it necessary to relocate to Louisiana.

Dark, ash wood comforted Bliss's head for a moment as she caught her breath. Only about another mile and she would be there. She traveled this path before, and familiarized herself with the path. Signal towers probably wouldn't give her a signal for sometime. She checked the phone and tried to place a call to Ashley to no avail. Her pack weighed down on her back; it contained a change of clothes, but most of the weight came from the parcel. She placed the phone back into her backpack and kept walking forward.

The Swamp air was enjoying, and the streets burned like hell in his own opinion.

Sam wore, boxes, long baggy jeans, socks, Boots, Golden Watch, a Phone in his Pocket, And a backpack, inside the backpack he clothing, some medical supplies, supplies for food, survival guide, and other martinis not worth maintaining.

Sam was aiming to enjoy himself here. His body was bulky, for his age, and he was swinging around the vines, he heard crickets, he smelt animals, and other beings of food. He looked around and dropped down towards the ground smiling in a bored and archy manner, then he had smelled out another living thing, Human like. So he made his where towards where he had sensed the smell, it was a female as well, although he still was incapable of controlling his sexually urges, he was still able to tell and spot a man out or female. He jumped, and swung, till he landed upon a breach, and appeared behind, the woman, and spoke right away hopefully it would not scare her away."What's a lovely thing like yourself doing an a Place like this?" He asked slowly.

"Jesus. Christ." Bliss moaned out with her head against the tree. Heat took more of a toll on her than she thought. She never really did any long exercise and a few miles in a swamp didn't present a learning curve for new comers. Oddity was below this situation. Never before would she expect to see another human in this swamp. "You're crawling through a swamp wearing that? How are you not dead from heat stroke?" She didn't know why it mattered to her, but when things got strange Bliss got involved. "Who are you anyways; why are you in a swamp." Bliss issued the questioning trying to catch her breathe.

Danger seemed close in proximity. This man may not look overpowering, but he dressed down like a hoodlum and spoke out of the regional dialect. Still, not the worse person she ever ran into. Her breathe returned to her, as she swallowed a lump in her throat.

Sam Looked at her, and smiled she had questions for this kind of state which was true and she deserved them."Yes, I am here wearing that, to be honest swamps have there own safe nature to believe or not, And Besides why not like this nature." He paused and listened as he would sense her, waryness, and begun to speak." Why am I here, Well, I am training on my body, and Trying head to New York." He said slowly, It was a truly honest question, But before he headed back towards his home, he'll like to enjoy himself here with the girl, or do some training."It's not Nice, to ask someone name before given yours." HE stated calmly.

"I'm not really a nice person." Bliss delivered the statement coldly in this hellish swamp. Sweat dripped from her brow and plummeted to the moist ground. "You seem like New York would welcome you with open arms. I've lived there for a few years." Soil dislodged around her foot, giving her need to take a step towards more solid ground. "It's a city of destitute on a good day." The air was becoming heavier, or maybe she just needed a break from this temperature. Bliss lived in cities, not swamps.

He looked at her, and smiled, giving her a nod to the back back of his head, And he begun to speak." There's an Old house not to far from here, why don't we stay there, It might rain, SO yeah, And besides the rain get's radically heavily, Oh and you can't like the summers in here, the mist is so thick you won't be able to see your way out, so watcha say?" He asked slowly.

"I'm not following you into a vacant house in the middle of nowhere." Her eyes dropped significantly as she responded to his request. "Especially in backwater Louisiana. I also don't plan on being here in the summer, or next week for that matter." Her temperament Mud began to clinch onto her shoes, weighing her down. "I need to drop something off about a mile away, and then start imagining being back in New York."

He looked at her and sighed." Need a Hand? I'll carry that for you if you wish me to do that?" He offered kindly. Laughing a bit. Before speaking." What you need is rest my love, and besides, I can get you to new york, faster then you can say go." HE said in a joking but honest answer.

"Okay. Ground rules. You may not call me 'love', all eye contact is here..." Bliss gestured around her face. "...And you're damn right you're carrying this bag." The parcel flew towards Sam's arms. "We're going to walk to where my phone's GPS tells us we should walk." Her feet trudged through the moist soil. Sweaty hands didn't make for a good grip on the phone, but the covering kept it somewhat safe within her grasp.

He looked at her, Gave slight signing, grabbing the bags, with one arm, and placing them over his shoulder." Where to then? And If my Suggestion would be The climate is beginning to act in it's own, I suggest we talk cover, But I can, stand the Rain, The problem is when your all wet, It'll be hard to keep my eyes on your Face, and not on your chest, and anyways let's get moving. Shall we?" He asked slowly.

"So, why are you training to go to New York. You do know there's no physical test to get in right?" Her feet moved along the unblazed trail towards the spot her phone lead her to. GPS wouldn't precisely show her where she needed to go, but hopefully she would make out the house from afar. "Look a t scenery if you must, just stay in my good graces."

He looked at her keeping his eyes, on her butt, as they moved then he looked up and spoke." I live, there, and I am rich. And Besides, everyone needs a Good work out am I not correct? Where are we heading anyways?" He asked slowly, wondering in a wondering voice, carrying the bags and following her, He felt like he was whipped towards the Next generation.

Coming on strong, not a surprise at all anymore. "I'm sure you're exactly who you say you are." They put a good amount of distance in with the pace they kept up. "Looks like we're about halfway there." A few drops of rain splashed down upon her. Only in such a forsaken quagmire could rain actually further add heat. "I think I can actually see the house. It's far off in the distance, but I can definitely make it out." Soon she could enjoy air conditioning and a nice shower, before getting a ride back to her car.

He walked and walked, Looking at her. Before deciding to speak." So, I guess your going leave, Me... Out in the rain once we get to your little House." HE kept his eyes on her neck, before begging to speak again." I don't enjoy to be used, like some form of toy, Little Girl, You do realize that right?" He said this time more coldly but calmly, He know knew she was using him.

"Honey, I've used people in way worse ways than this. If you think I'm using you to carry a package, than you're right. I am." She kept moving in her poor selection of shoes. "Once we get there you can come in." Heat rose up all around her, this weather would kill her hair if she wore it down. "But, you're going to have be a little more subtle with your come-on. It's a little flattering." In a weird way. "But either gawk from a distance or don't talk to a girl like she is an object of affection. Well, that's a little abrupt. I'm Bliss, thanks for carrying my parcel for me."
