The thirteens that are everywhere are now the number one. No longer 13, but 1.

Personality: As you might be able to tell from his title, alignment, and “costume” (he usually calls it his uniform to maintain some sense of professionalism) his personality isn’t the most positive. Well, it isn’t that he’s positive, it’s just that almost everything he does… has a negative result… for everyone else. His devotion to tactics and fighting added up to give him an abundant amount of battle experience. Trained in several martial arts, he took classes on air warfare, sea warfare, and most of all, land warfare. Captivated in the ways each nation would fight, he created his own strategies and traps of his own. Exploring the ways of war, you could say he’s more of a battle genius. A Master Mind of war.

But that doesn’t completely sum up his personality. In fact, that barely even touches his persona, traits, and the like. He’s a diabolical dictator and annihilates whoever gets in his path, and yet, he’s a human being as well. He has his own desires and life apart from being a supervillain, or renegade (because he hasn’t announced any sort of alliance). But he tends to over think all the same, and all the time. He scans the surroundings, the people, and can read their emotions. Separate from his actual powers, he can almost discern an opponent’s movements by reading their body and emotions. But he isn’t so weak that his advantages in battle would stop there. As some say, he’s smooth with the tongue. And no, that wasn’t a reference to intense kissing. He’s a good speaker, and can speak his way through and out of almost anything. He’s a genius.

So, in a way, his whole life he has been trained for battle. Isolated and trained only so that he could perfectly execute his plans in the future. For his destiny. In a way, he really hasn't experienced much. So, who's to say if he's evil or not?

(Other than battle smarts and common sense, he isn’t the smartest guy out there. But he likes people to think he is. He’s just more of a battle genius.)

History: Year after year, gears turned and clocks ticked as each second was absorbed and used to achieve pure success. That was the foundation of which Walter grew up on. His child name, "Wally", is what he was referred to since his mother and father didn't want to call him Walter when he was but a child. So that's what we're going to call him. Wally grew up like most children, only he wasn't like most children. He was a loner, and never really managed to create a friendship with anyone. The thing he had with another person that was close to a relationship was when he went to military school. Training everyday, his life was isolated because of his personality and roots. His father and mother were "loners" as well. His mother was a scientist and his father was in the marine corps. To his mother's disappointment, Wally was never interested in science as he was in physical combat. In combat in general. In fact, he was interested in almost the entire spectrum of warfare. It intrigued him, as they say.

But what most people don't say is why he studied and worked so hard on the subject of warfare. Why not live a normal life? Have a girlfriend, a job, go to college... So many things he could do, but he never did. He... just didn't care. The only people he ever cared about was his parents. They were two of the few individuals that he actually opened up to; told things to. And that is what lead to his demise. Not physically, but mentally and emotionally. His parents died in a fatal accident. His mother was testing an experiment with his father as the test subject; the independent variable. They hoped to have a breakthrough in the world of science, and they never suspected that something would horribly go wrong. Real life isn't a movie, or a comic book... Who would ever think that the results would end in their deaths?

Wally's parent's death subjected him to mental and emotional trauma. Despite his lonely nature, he was still far too alone. Without anyone to talk to, he neglected having a personal life at all, and isolated himself further. But that wasn't even the beginning of his new life. He started to develop his "super-powers". That's pretty weird to say, right? "Super-powers". But was weird was that he always had his super-powers. Ever since he was a child he had the ability to alter the movement of electrons, or create electric fields. His parents had told him to hide his powers, the publicity gained from broadcasting such abilities out in public is no gift. And so he hid them. Until the day of the accident. When he really started to think about it, an idea sparked up in his head.... Did he... Wally... Walter... kill his own parents? He was fairly young at the time, and it wasn't impossible that his powers had gone berserk somehow and he accidentally murdered his parents. But... murder? He could never do such a thing... could he?

Terrible, dark, and negative thoughts started to formulate in his mind. Did he murder his parents? Why was he isolated? No friends? No family? Who would care for him? Who would he care about? What did he like? What did he know? Did he really like war? Did he just like to fight? Was he nice? Was he mean? Was he good? Was he bad? ... Was he evil?

Powers: Master Mind has the power to alter the movement of electrons, simple and/or complex. Having constantly training his ability, he can control, generate, and absorb electric fields. He can generate energy, shoot lightning, overload a circuit, start fires, direct a current in a more complex route than the one of least resistance, charge up electrical devices, make a blinding flash of light, create electromagnetic shock waves, and can even fire off sparks to turn off electrical devices. In short, his power is electricity control and manipulation.

Here's something I posted using Paradox. I don't feel like making an entirely new sample. Sorry.

"Hey, watch out!", he said as he stepped onto the sidewalk. Pulling on the man's shirt, Tom just managed to save his life. If he hadn't pulled him out of the road, the upcoming truck would have easily flattened him. "Thanks a lot! I owe you my life!" Smiling with a calm sigh, he responded sincerely. "It's alright as long as you're okay!" Walking away from the scene he chuckled to himself. He saved someone without even having to put on his mask. That only goes to show that anyone can be a hero. But a hero that can shoot fireballs from his fingertips or lift things the size of a Tyrannosaurus-Rex? That's a little more debatable. What's even more debatable was what he was doing right at that moment. Why did he go to LA? He really couldn't remember. I... cannot remember. It's not that his memory was bad. It's just that he had been so occupied with recent events that his schedule was too jam-packed and stressful for him to even think about taking a vacation. But really, it wasn't a vacation. More like a change of pace. To shake things up, he went to Las Angeles. Now, most normal people would go somewhere else to shake things up. Surely they wouldn't go to LA. Rather, they'd go to the beach or to the mountains. Heck, even visiting relatives sounds more reasonable.

Walking down the street at a normal human-adjusted speed he stopped nimbly just before a hotel. That's where he was to stay that night. A random hotel amidst hundreds of other hotels just begging for him to fill the emptiness of their pockets with cash. Stepping inside, he made his way to the counter and spoke about his previous agreements on his room. After sorting that out, Thomas went up the elevator and into his room. Setting his suitcase on the floor, he jumped up and landed on the bed. Letting the mattress and pillows cushion his fall, he let the warmth of the bed soothe his body as his mind started to wander... What now? What was he to do now? Even when he wanted a change of pace he always did the same thing. He searched. He didn't search for anything like trouble, no. He searched for people in need of his assistance; people in need of a hero's assistance.

Easily slipping into his 'costume", or his gear as he preferred to call it, Tom looked out the window and checked to make sure that no one was looking. As if that really mattered though. Putting on his mask, Thomas appeared to transform from a normal human... to Paradox; helper of humanity. But you would have only seen that if you were a ninja. No one there was a ninja, obviously. How cliche. With a dramatic pause, he looked up and out of the window at a tall skyscraper. As he started to climb through the window, something distracted him and caught his ear. A very, very loud bang. Guess it's better late than never! Without even giving it a second thought, Paradox decided to check out the scene.

His entire body rippling with power, it turned into complete solid energy. The energy took a nice golden color, clearly outlining his gear, or costume. To add in a little bit of contrast, he decided to keep his mask white. His trademark should always be easily discernible from what else he was wearing. Bursting out from the open window with a frightening speed, even a fast human wouldn't have been able to follow him. Slowly making his way up, he ascended to a point in the sky where he could locate the shot. Searching around the landscape, he found a park just in the corner of his sights. Smoke. He now knew that this wasn't just a simple matter. Raising his speed he flew closer to the park. Stopping twenty meters before the entrance, he hid behind a building up around the second floor almost stuck to the side of building. Ten feet up in the ear, he peeked around the side and saw a strange man fall down from the sky, land, and run into the park. Was he... was he holding arrows? Shaking his head, he wasn't going to allow himself to lose concentration so easily.

Creating a considerably condensed energy barrier just above the surface of his skin, reaching almost an inch from his body, he descended from the side of the building just before the park and landed a few feet behind where the arrow man had landed. Right as he touched the ground, he formed two simple swords made entirely out of solid energy. Taking the shape of katana, the Japanese swords would perform well in the upcoming confrontation. As he created the swords he cautiously and preparedly sprinted inside the park and behind a tree around the outskirts of the park. Looking to his left he saw Black Arrow shooting arrows not far away. Looking at his surroundings, he surveyed the situation and blindly took the bet that whoever was in the center of the park was probably the Villain. How he could tell? Most likely instinct. Probably.

Hoping that the other member of this battle was on his side, he tried to signal him without making too much sound. He wanted to mask his presence from the enemy as much as possible before revealing himself. Transforming the energy katana in his right hand into a sphere. He condensed it and looked up at the sky. Quickly taking notice of who Black Arrow was shooting at, he held up his right hand and pointed the energy ball at Nicholas. He didn't know if what he was doing was completely right, but he could tell just by the situation that the man up in the air was terrorizing the citizens. How so? A tree had blown up not much earlier from when he had arrived. The explosion had come from the man in the sky. He was going down. Shooting the condensed ball of energy at the man in the sky, upon impact the entire contents of the sphere would explode outward most likely distracting, if not hurting as well, Nicholas. And just as he released the ball he began to form a simple, strong shield of energy. Holding it by a handle connected to the center of the shield he held it in front of him and began to scan his surroundings again. He didn't want to be taken off guard like he had been before in his superhuman career. Slowly forming his left katana into another ball of energy he began to charge it. The charging would most likely pack in a harder punch, if you know what I mean.

I suggest putting another point into int if you want to be any kind of genius.

I don't really have any problem with your guns being an EP item, but if they allow you flight you don't get 22 points for your grid. I'd say they'd be pseudo flight which would grant you 21.

Also, could you elaborate more on "manipulate energy in a person"?

Well, my powers themselves don't grant me the power of flight, but through the guns I can propel myself through the air.

Actually, I'm going to take that out, since it no longer makes much sense to me either. I think I was just thinking on lines of him altering electrons to the point where you could manipulate electrons in a person. But I suppose that could be considered as god-moding.

It's still flight. Someone with a jet pack would still be considered a flier.

But the guns are not essentially a part of his powers. The ECGs are just devices that he uses if there's a need for air combat. So, it's not really pseudo-flight. It would be pseudo-flight if he directly used his powers to maintain said flight.

Whether they're from your powers or not you still posses the ability to propel yourself into the air with them, correct?

That would be pseudo flight.

But if, hypothetically, I were not to have them, then I wouldn't be able to fly. It's like a plane. I need the plane to fly, so without it, I can't fly. Would it be pseudo-flight if a super-hero had a jet that he uses to fly around with?

Having a jet is different from being spontaneously able to launch yourself into the air combat.

Which is a bit silly anyway seeing as to how you can still shoot them from the ground.

Well, think of rocket boots then. Never the less, pseudo-flight is when you can fly using only your powers. Master Mind uses the guns.

I would make someone with rocketboots use a 20 point grid.

But rocket boots have nothing to do with that someone's super powers. xD
