Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Cybermind
Real Name: David Brown
Super Hero/Villain/Renegade/etc Name: Cybermind
Title:
Alignment: Renegade (I think)
Age:16
Gender: Male
Race: White
Hair: Blond
Eyes: Brown
Height: 5'7''
Weight: 120
Costume Description: Wears Cyber Helmet on his head. Wears dark-blue suit with small curved shields on the four-arms and legs. The shields are bullet-proof.
History: He was created in a cloning experiment intended to create humans with heightened mental abilities in Alaska on behalf of NeuroTech. There, he as lead to believe that he and the other children were created to be "protectors of the world", while in fact the missions they were sent on were in the interests of the company and it's operators.. During an accident when he was being transported to another facility in Canada, he ended up stranded in Dawson City. After reading data from computers there and realized that he had been lied to.
He used his abilities to create false identity and steal money to survive eventually making his way to America.
Personality: He is often skeptical of people's agendas on account of his background. Though once he does feel he can trust someone he is loyal to them and expects the same loyalty back. Once he does know someone he is good matured around them.
He feels guilty about how he goes about surviving, but has come to accept it. Because of his ability to read data from computers he has a high intelligence, though not necessarily wisdom.
Powers: Can seize control of machines and computers with his mind. Usually uses vehicles when he has to fight.
He can read data from computers or data storage mediums that he is touching. He can use computers to attempt to "hack" other computers they can connect to. The time this takes depends on the security of the target machine. However he can instantly read from computers that he is touching.
When within 3 feet of a device with a means of communication (such as Cell Phones or or Internet enabled computers) he can transport himself to any device it can communicate with. He can transport most hand-held items with him with ease, but transporting other people or large objects will cause a delay time before the transport takes place. Doing so depletes his powers for about a minute.
He heals from electricity. Rate depends on the voltage (he can heal very quickly if he can get to a high voltage line).
PowerGrid:
Intelligence: 6
Strength: 1
Speed: 4
Durability: 3
Energy Projection: 6
Fighting Skill: 1
Appearance Description: He is a bit short for his age and keeps his hair tidy. When not in costume he usually wears casual attire of T-Shirt and Blue Jeans.
Roleplay Sample:
David walked into Brown City airport holding only a single handbag. After all, it would be all he needed for now. He walked through the metal detector without a problem, even though his hand bag contained a metal helmet.
As he bordered his plane he showed the ticket stub of a Micheal Foster. He took his seat trying to but his worry behind him. He had seen several shady people around his former apartment. And he wasn't about to take any chances.
As he arrived in the States, he went imminently to the ATM machine and aimlessly pressed buttons and received about two thousand dollars from the machine which he hastily stuffed in his pocket. He briefly remembered when this bothered him, but now it seemed a casual event. He caught a ride on a taxi and asked for tips on a good apartment.

I don't like his travel power, for one reason. He practically can go anywhere everywhere at the speed of light.

Re: Cybermind
Well for the power-grid thing.
For Intelligence, maybe a 6. Though this is all relevant. Because of his ability he has advanced knowledge of science and technology, as well as most mundane knowledge. But he doesn't know about stuff like magic or surviving in the wild and such.
Strength would just be a 1.
Speed maybe a 3 just to give him a chance lol.
Durability, um. Guess a 4 for healing with his ability.
Energy Projection. For his transportation ability, if I put it at 6 can I keep it the way it is? It says it can transport into other countries at that level. Though it doesn't have much offensive use in standard combat. Really just for espionage and retreat.
Fighting Skill. 1 again. Really doesn't have any specialized training.
And that equals 22 I believe.

Re: Cybermind
The teleport is an iffy power no matter the reason, For this matter in a fight you can instantly "Poof" out of trouble, this makes it overpowered and frustrating to other players. for this reason, you need a drawback, Some examples include, an activation time to use, or maybe a cooldown time.
Healing counts as EP not as DUR. Durability is strictly how well you can take a punch and resist poisons. You may edit your powergird if you want.
Also edit your powergrid into the original app, as well as the drawback to your teleportation.

Re: Cybermind
But the way his works he can't. Unless some idiot's walking through a combat scene between 2 superpowered indivduals, he's stuck there.

Re: Cybermind
And being able to dial a number and teleport from a battle when it would matter? I see nothing in his app that says he can dial a cellphone extremely quickly in stressful situations

Re: Cybermind
Pull out phone, flip out phone, dial one, send? All in a trigger pull. This also assumes you have enough coordination to push the correct buttons whilst being shot at. I don't see it happening. Besides, who carries a cell phone into battle? They are fairly fragile, so fighting a superhuman with one handy is leaving you a very small chance of that phone even working halfway through the fight.

Re: Cybermind
Someone with the power to travel via cellphones would carry a cellphone into battle. Most people don't carry bass guitars into battle either, but because it works with Mosh he does it anyway.

Re: Cybermind
Touche. But I don't see what your problem is. You had a character that could pinpoint the sound of a heart beat from several hundred ffet away and appear there almost instantly. Extremely effective in battle and outside of it as well. This guy can teleport away, if he can get a cell phone out dial someone, and then actually manage to teleport. It has it's flaws pretty well weighted. I think as long as it's understood that he doesn't use stupid situational irony(ie. The guy that the villain killed happened to be talking to his grandmother when the fight started and her being an old senile woman didn't hang up the phone so I teleport there), his power is fine. But I'm obviously out voted so I guess it needs to change. Sorry dude.

Re: Cybermind
Edited. Threw in a cool down time for the transportation ability. Shifted a point from Durability to max out Energy Projection since that seems to be where all of his powers are anyway.
