Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

The Deceiver
Real Name: Gerald Mordicai II
Super Hero/Villain/Renegade/etc Name: The Deceiver
Title: Master of tricks, Head of Anarchy, Baron of Crime… He makes them up as he goes along…
Alignment: Villain
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Hair: Dark Brown, almost black
Eyes: Green
Height: 5'10
Weight: 172 lb
Costume Description/Image:
In costume, the Deceiver dons a dark red robe with the hood always up and sports brown boots and blacks gloves, he also possesses a control gauntlet on his left hand that seems to act as a sort of personal computer. All over his person are little gadgets and peices of equipment, most notably a utility belt around his shoulder and his waist. The most striking feature of his costume, however, is the gas mask he always wears, hiding his face.
Personality: Zany, witty, bold, and audacious, in costume the Deceiver seems to always possess a light hearted aura about him, rarely losing his cool, suave attitude. He is a planner, a schemer, and a general mastermind, always trying to find new ways to manipulate people, events, and everything in between to his advantage. Despite all this, to call the Deceiver a complete coward is somewhat inaccurate, as the super villain has shown he has no fear of appearing publicly during his crimes, or even facing down the most super powered of heroes with nothing but witty banter. Every now and again he does occasionally have a psychotic panic attack, but usually soon shrugs it off.
The Deceivers considers himself a higher class of criminal. His primary motivation appears to be power in any and all its forms, be it through wealth, magical artifacts, parts to doomsday machines, or simply influence over other people.
History: Gerald Mordicai was born to a wealthy and noble (in blood not in morals) family somewhere in Europe. His family owned a rather large corporation called Scion Industrial, a respectable producer of military technologies and robotics. Well connected from birth, Gerald was basically surrounded by powerful people from governments, other corporations…and criminal overlords. Indeed, the Mordicai families reputation had plenty of rumors that had them dealing with the vast criminal underworld and small time super villains, they where all true by the way. Gerald himself was an exceptionally smart student, excelling in fields of engineering, robotics, science, psychology, sociology, and other little skills that would aid him in his criminal career in the future (Especially robotics, anything doing with robots or A.I seemed to be his strong point). As time went by and Gerald exceeded his studies, waved his money around, and forged connections, he began to get cocky; after all he had power right? He got everything that money could buy, and he completly made monkeys out of any academic competition, so all that equaled power right? Well very soon he would realize just how powerless he really was… After a debilitating sabotage from a power hungry subsidiary of Scion industrial, their stocks began to plummet, and it did not end there as whatever rival was targeting him apparently went as far as to murder his parents, and at that point Gerald realized just how powerless he really was. Knowing he was being targeted for assassination, he faded into the shadows and disappeared from society for a while, only contacting people via secure phone lines or robotic messengers. It was at this point Gerald decided to dedicate his life towards gaining power; he would build his own fortune, build his own infrastructure, earn his own fear, and while he was at it, why not cause some mayhem and destruction for the hell of it!
Rise of the Deceiver
The issue with Scion was in absolute chaos. Gerald Mordicai, the only heir to the failing company had completely vanished off the map, but that was not the reason there was chaos, after all who cared about some genius son of a couple of rich folk? Where the hell was his money? That was the problem, not only did Gerald disappear, but all of the Mordicai’s acquired wealth had also vanished, denying greedy rivals, dept collectors, and any other parasites there so called "reward" (Swiss bank accounts suckers!).
Gerald’s movements became difficult to track at this point, his new need for power awakened previously latent megalomania and kleptomania tendencies that began to take hold of him. Gerald first step towards gaining power was to reopen the previous black market connections his family was known for, luckily his money was still good there and with that, Gerald began to rebuild his powerbase, and forged a new identity to remain anonymous: The Deceiver. Utilizing his horded fortune, The Deceiver began his criminal career as something of an arms dealer, armed with his intelligence and several valuable trade secrets from Scion industrial, he began to sell to different black market clients, from mercenary groups to small time super villains. Gerald used these new funds to continue selling his equipment, but at the same time, build his own criminal infrastructure, his most notable purchases where having some unscrupulous building contractors who knew how to keep their mouths shut build his hidden production facilities that provided him with his own personal robotic armies (he did not trust mercenaries as henchmen). This pretty much continued for seven years, seven years of creating secret lairs, designing instruments of destruction, and building robotic henchmen, culminated in him slowly moving up to higher crimes… The Deceiver was done selling to super villains…
He was ready to be one…
Powers: Aside for some impressive programming, engineering, and remarkable planning skills, Gerald himself actually has no superpowers and thus relies on things such as weaponry, robotic henchmen, explosives, cunning plans, and tricks to protect himself from his foes; however, he is not completely helpless when it actually comes to fighting himself (He happens to be skilled at fighting dirty and improvised combat). In short, the Deceivers assets include…
Resources: He possesses several secret lairs hidden throughout the world. "I think I lost one in a volcano once…"
Gadgets: Being something of an avid inventor, Gerald possesses a variety of gadgets and weapons to use against the agents of justice that oppose him. (To be detailed in item application)
Robotic Henchmen: When beginning his criminal career, Gerald asked himself: "What type of henchman could I easily produce and not have to worry about it asking questions?" The answer was simple: Robots. The fact that he himself actually had an advanced degree in robotics also helped, meaning he could actually design his own models rather than relying on developers and contractors. Several hidden factories built by the right people provide Gerald with his own personal army of loyal automatons. (To be detailed in pet application.)
Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: He admitably does not have as much as he had before but several well placed investments, combined with the extra money made from his criminal affairs, gives Gerald quiet a bit of play cash.
"My card good sir": He has business cards...

Roleplay Sample: (If new or new character)
High atop the cold night in the city, a figure could be seen standing on the roof of one of the taller buildings. Bright red robes adorned with small gadgets here and there flapped in the wind, while the figures face, completely hidden by a gas mask, watched below with calculating scrutiny. The Deceiver had chosen his target today, and no matter how heavily guarded it was, he would not be denied…
"COMBINE…" The Deceiver spoke. "What is the estimated time before proper authorities detect our operation?" "Calculating sir…" A robotic voice replied; it seemed to be originating from the bulky, mechanical gauntlet the man wore on his left hand. COMBINES artificial brain took all variables into account before coming up with an answer. "About five minutes sir."
"Right, I guess we have three then…"
"Three sir?" COMBINE asked somewhat confused.
"Never expect vigilantes to follow your schedule..." the red robed man replied, he had already predicted that about in three minutes or a few seconds after the operation started some tight wearing idiot was going to come out of nowhere and try to stop him. "COMBINE, I take it all of my units are in their positions and awaiting orders?"The machine paused for a moment, double checking to make sure all was in order. "Affirmative, all units are in position…"
About a quarter mile north from the science centers security checkpoint, a large eighteen wheeler was moving way past the speed limit, it’s front bumper looked like it was modified to be able to ram through anything, and to top it all off, the driver did not look human, as it’s singular glowing red eye, hunched over shape, and over all mechanical form suggested it was anything but human. The massive vehicle began to increase in speed, completely ignoring the two police cars that were chasing it, and paying even less heed to the frantic yelling of the security guards at the checkpoint.
*CRASH*
The massive trailer hauling truck crashed through the barricades like a freight train crashed through……anything else really. The vehicle came screeching to a halt in the middle of the Science institutes parking lot after tearing through at least half of the parked cars there, seconds later the vehicle was surrounded by all types of security personnel, all of them aiming at the driver seats tinted window.
"Alright asshole!" One of guard yelled "Come out with your hands up!" Surprisingly the being inside seemed to comply, the door slowly opened revealing a strange looking robot.
“What the-” One of the guards was about to say before being cut off as the back and side doors of the trucks trailer suddenly flew open, what soon followed was a hasty ten seconds of chaos as two robots of similar design to the driver, but armed with automatic ballistic weapons on their persons, opened up on the security guards, which was followed by more of the humanoid bots pouring out of the truck, turning the science institutes parking lot into a warzone. Security was quick to call for back up, and with that, the distraction was set. Back on top of the building the Deceiver casually observed the chaos, then turned towards the sky expectantly, his eyes searching for- there it was! A small black dot flying through the sky… was it a bird? Was it a plane? No. It was General Fantastic, a super hero that had always been a thorn in the Deceivers side! Gerald lifted his control gauntlet to his face and spoke new orders.
About time I got done with this...
I'm was completely schitzo about what to do with the power grid since I wanted to keep Gerald mostly normal and have him rely on gadgets, robots, traps, and what not, so if you have any suggestions about where I should put my last points...
Also the whole "Army of Robots" thing? remember, there Mecha Mooks (link), robots or not, there still mooks. (most of them at least)
Man I always get so darn nervous when I post my first profile on a new site.
