You've been recruited.

((For all the characters close to Pain/important characters that have been a huge part of the site for a long duration of time that are not participating on any team. Entropus, Ein, and Slamfist. I will be making you do something that will not be roleplayed, but only mentioned. And it will be rather important, so that way it's not stupid that they are just sitting this one out as some of the biggest chars on the site, even if some of them don't ever do anything any more, they are still legends in my book. If anyone has a char that they want to be mentioned on that team, let me know and I'll tell you if you're good enough.))

Pain leaned back in his large black leather chair with legs kicked up and crossed over one another on the table. Two hands relaxed behind his head, his eyes dully staring at the ceiling, half open and bloodshot. A fat cigar filled with marijuana hung from his lips, lit and filling the large conference room up with gray smoke. He puffed on it while he waited, staring at the empty chairs surrounding a massive long table, his chair being at the end of it. He was just sitting there silently while he thought to himself, he knew he had a lot on his plate and this was how he dealt with stress. He was worried that he might not be able to save the world this time, there was a lot at stake here and he had built a team of unfamiliar faces. Not by his choice, but he really didn't have any other. Being forced to send his greatest long time allies on their own separate mission that was vital to this entire operations success. It was hard to do, but he managed to build a team of super powered beings that he thought would suit him and his team the best.

The member's of his team consisted of, Ferrum, Nuke, Kalos and David. Not exactly his style of people, half of them were villains after all. But they were going against a threat that affected them all, with out a world to live on, they won't have anything to conquer. Now it was just a matter of convincing them...

The big man reached over and pressed a button on the table, turning on the loudspeaker and opening communications with Stephen, another old friend of his. "Yo bro, remember those dossiers I sent ya? Well bring em in..." He said very calmly and coolly as he took another long and hard puff from his blunt. He flicked the ashes off, letting them gently hit the ground as he waited with a bit of a smirk on his face. He was anxious, he couldn't wait to start fighting, but first came the planning....

Stephen was always full of life, but also very professional. His voice was never monotone and always happy, and when the time called for it, he was full of sarcasm. "Very well Sir, I'll send them right in...Just give me a moment to track them down..." After a few brief moments Stephen's voice came back onto the radio. "I've located all but one, The Black Knight's location is some how hidden from me...I've never encountered something like this before, he must be using some sort of power, or maybe a device to block my readings..."

Pain puffed on his fat cigar as he listened and waited, simply being patient and chilling before everything went to hell. For all he knew, this might be the last blunt he'd ever smoke. He didn't like to think that way though, Pain chose to be confident in himself. he just hoped he could feel the same about his new allies. "Shit..." He paused briefly to inhale another puff, that was a pretty big blow to the team and now they're down one of the best heroes around. Working with villains just wasn't the same and the only true hero on his squad wasn't exactly the best around, but he would do what he had to do with what he had cause that was how the big guy saved the world time and time again.

"Just send the others in, and quick. I'm gettin itchy for a fight..."

Nuke walked in but he wore a hazmat suit for the others protection the radiation he set off could make the people around him sick,He sat down looking at the guy before tilting his head sizing him up and already planning the best way to bring the man to his knees.Nuke shifted it was time for old diffrences put to the side it was time to plan a battle and Nuke couldn't wait to show a demon the power of radiation.(Sorry it's short kinda not suppose to be on eep.)

Percival walked in wearing a black suit, with purple trimmings, classic Battin. Percival had his hands in the pockets on his coat and a cigarette hanging in his mouth. The smoke curled up from Percival's mouth mixing with the smoke of Pain's blunt cigar. Percival pulled out a chair and sat down, reaching into his coat and pulling out two beige folders, dropping them on the table in front of him.

Percival looked around the last place he thought he would be is in the presence of Pain with no building crashing around the two. Percival smiled as he remembered that fight, then turned his head to meet Pain's eyes. Percival's smile turned into a smirkish grin, then he turned to his partner and friend Nuke. Pericval nodded at him as he leaned back relaxing, this was an odd team indeed, but perhaps an unstoppable one.

Pain stared both Nuke and Ferrum down coldly with his bright blue eyes, he didn't trust them, they were both villains he had fought in the past; he knew what they were capable of and what they did. He was forced to put everything aside, he could only hope these villains would do the same. His optics darted back and forth between the two as he watched them enter the room, moving to take their seats, he followed them closely. His gut told him he could trust them, and his gut was right a good amount of the time.

"Welcome. Bet you're both pretty surprised that you're here...I'll wait for the others to arrive before I get into anything. So keep the questions short if ya got any."

Nuke smiled from under the mask."I have one...do we get pizza or burgers or anything I'm pretty hungry.Nuke looked around hoping to see some guy from burger king or pizza hut appear in before sighing.

Athena was the next to walk in. It felt... Odd being here in a room with just men but Percy had asked her to join in the fun and if it was a war against hell... Well... From the myths she was created from there was a lot of help she could lend to the team. Dressed in leather pants and a simple blue jumper that hugged her curves she slipped into the room, one eyebrow raised. The man had told her to go right through.
"Thought you'd need a womanly touch," she smiled softly, a dangerous one. She wasn't good or bad, she drifted, but today... she'd be a goodie. Just for now... seeing as though there was a girl involved she could help.
"I'm Athena," she nodded slightly to the man at the desk before slitting on the arm of a chair next to Percy.

Nuke looked at her and raised a eyebrow."I thought we wanted to kill the demons not give them a 10 dollar show.Nuke laughed laying his head back before looking around again."Wheres the pizza?You can summon people from around the world but you can't summon a pizza?

Percival shook his head at Nuke. "Shut it, you talk too much" he said as he locked eyes with Nuke and then looked away pulling the cigarette out of his mouth which allowed the smoke to pour out. Percival looked back at Nuke and shook his head again.

Nextdoors, in an administrational part of the GUN complex, a girl screamed. A low and grizzly voice, probably either from a man or a really really really really masculine woman, commented on the scream with the words: "Oh, suck it up, woman!" The low, repetive pounding of army boots on carpet floors sounded, indicating that someone wearing those army boots was making his way to the door. The door, which was to be throw open in a most violent manner, allowed access to the hallway to a big, unshaven man looking like an old spaghetti western villain, just even more scary, because of his menacing looks and the fact he WAS FOKKING REAL!!! Anyway, the eyes of the big scary desperado darted from one side to the other side of the corridor, witnessing a variety of confused and startled employees. "Could anybody get me Stephen and tell him that I do NOT appreciate postcards with fokking teddybears on them!?" He stated, while holding up the mentioned postcard.

Scarlet - having just decided last minute burst into the room then, panting slightly. Her beautiful brown eyes were large as she looked around the room before spotting her boyfriend; Pain. Yup - she was dating the big guy.
"I want to help," she gushed. It was evident there was nothing to her. She looked human, smelt it, was weak like one but it was in her mind that she had the upper hand. She was a storage so to speak. Surely she could be of some help there?
