Ok, well, on her right side, she looks like one of the most beautful women on the Earth. all men, and most woman can't resist her. On her left side, however, she looks like a corpse, and is so hideous, your brain has trouble coming to grips with it, and weak minds are pratically destroyed by it. But the real horror is, that although you're screaming with fear, you still desire her. You lust for her, and are disgusted by her in equal measure. This can drive people insane.

Personality: She is insane. She does anything she wants, and God help whoever gets in her way. She likes to play around with men and women, and destroy their minds.

History: Her father is the Norse god Loki. Hel was sentenced to the Underworld by Odin, for killing Baldur. But now the thousand years she needed to stay in the Underworld are up, and she has left, to wreck havoc on our world.

Powers:
Insane Glance: Looking upon Hel's face will fill you with both lust and disgust, hatered and desire. This can drive you nuts.
Emotion Touch: If she touches you with her living right side, every cell in your body feels total happiness, and you quickly grow addicted to it. If she touches you with her dead, left side, you feel unbelieveable, total pain, and it agonizes you.
Slave Master's Kiss: If she kisses you, your mind generally is totally destroyed, or at the least shot into temporary sleep. Then she commands you,a dn you become her temporary slave.

How is she so far? I still need a picture.

She seems a little too powerful...

I mean, her powers are cool and all, but how would anyone fight her for the first time? If you look at her, you go insane, then all she has to do is touch you and you're as good as dead/zombified. She at least needs an energy projection of 6 in my opinion. She also needs some sort of weakness to work around.

I like the idea of a goddess character, though, and she looks like she'll be an awesome villain when finished.

I know, but how is this? If you have an Intel level less than 3, you go nuts, but if you're stronger than that, you're sane.

Wow, man. To start things off, I'll just say that it was a good idea putting "not done" in the title. Hopefully that means you'll be giving her a new name, lol. "Hel, goddess of Hell?" Really? Were you trying to make it sound completely redundant, or did you just forget to add the second L? You might as well have named her "Underworl, Prisoner of the Underworld." The Goddess thing was a decent background though (and since the last time someone brought up religion, we never stopped arguing, I'll not say anything about it ), so kudos on that.

But then I got to her powers. To put it tactfully, she seems a little... well... insane. And no, that wasnt a pun as to her mental status, that was me being unable to find an accurate adjetive for the amount of overpower that you managed to fit into a single character. The first time ANY character meets her, they lose. If they somehow manage to survive the initial blinding, you have plenty of time to close the gap and touch them, immediately rendering them helpless. This, of course, sets you up for a free kiss. Long story short, you instantly win all battles. If someone managed (Somehow) to come back for another fight, knew that you were around AND in what general direction, then they MIGHT have a chance if they blinded themselves AND managed to keep you at bay with a lot of long-ranged attacks (which is impossible with no sight) then they have a chance at beating you. SF had it right, you really need a HEFTY weakness to make up for the instant-win factor. Like maybe oxygen instantly kills you. That might make it fairer, lol.

The powergrid is also a little askew. (SF beat me to it again >.<) Having these extraordinary powers deserves at LEAST a 6 in EP. There is no way you'd be able to control the minds of mortals by THEM looking at YOU with only a 5. Not even Bosses were that insane. In fact, that reminds me a lot of a Succubus, if said Succubus found a treasure chest full of Rare Candies and ate it all. So you might need to consider dialing it down a smidge. And yes, I said smidge

The 3 or less Int thing is better, I guess, but it stills seems crazy. Maybe if she looks at the char directly in the eyes? Like a gorgon, 'cept no stone.

And by the way, dont assume we'd be disgusted with the whole half-corpse thing. Necrophelia may be TECHNICALLY illegal, but that doesnt mean we disapprove. I have witnesses to me laughing throughout the entire "Offended Page" of Encyclopedia Dramatica. Heck, I laughed till I cried. No lie.

Hel didn't kill Baldr, Hod killed Baldr. But aside from your mess-up, mind control/possession/etc. is never allowed as it takes away the free-will of our members and causes problems with how we want to run this place. What's to stop you from making another character commit suicide?

And I can attest to his feat of soulessness. While I mourned for the decapitated baby and all of those mutilated penises Devin laughed his ass off at a man who had removed his lips and nose, proceeding to gasp through the laughter to explain that he looked like a real life Mr. Potatohead.

I know, Hod killed Baldur. This Hel is a slightly different character than Norse Hel. And I'll see what I can do about the Mind Control thing. How's about I knock it down a notch? Like she can only make you do things you want to do, and you still have some control. So she can't just say "Go jump in that pool of acid." BUT she can say "Why don't you take a nice hot bath?" and the character still has enough control to resist her, if he wants to.

And plus, it's not the nercophilla thing, it's that her left side has a curse on it, that makes it absolutely hideous. And would you want to screw something with maggots crawling around in it?

I have that power, IRL. It doesn't work very often, it's called making a suggestion.

Ok, I can live with that. But still, I like this charcter. It has potential.
