Loki is a young man with a shaved head and large expressive red eyes that he hides behind sunglasses even while indoors. Loki is known to disregard the common super costume, in favor of an aviator jacket with both sleeves removed, a t-shirt for some obscure band, a long red and black bandana that hides the shape of his face, and a pair of skinny jeans with combat boots. Despite being only 16, he is in excellent shape and is capable of peak performance for his age.

Loki suffers from a case of sociopathy. Loki understands the human mind and uses it to his advantage. He uses empathy, intellect, and his words to manipulate those around him into working for him and with him. Something that is beneficial seeing as he has no real powers of his own and must rely on others to even use what he would call abilities.

Growing up was difficult for Loki, he never felt like he fit in anywhere in the world. People would look at him and say that he wasn’t normal, like the other boys his age. Granted, they were right. His red eyes were evidence enough of that. But as he got older, he found himself becoming more and more… Galvanized by the plight of metahumans. And when he discovered his own metahuman ability buried deep within himself, Loki began to work towards creating a world that he actually wanted to see.

Loki began generating a following through social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook before eventually taking to the streets. His following was small, and young; but to Loki, they were an army against the world. He just needed to inspire them.

Superpower Manipulation - Loki is capable of manipulating the meta-abilities of other beings through a unique expression of his meta-gene. Loki is inexperienced with this ability, and one could only guess what he would be capable of given proper training and time to advance.

These are the currently known applications of Loki’s ability.

Meta-Gene Activation - Loki can touch an individual and connect with their DNA. From there, he is able to activate their latent metahuman abilities or even activate powers that have already been in place. However, the second that Loki takes his hands off the individual, they will no longer be forcefully active. From that point, an individual can take control of their own ability. (Permission Based)

Power Dampening - Loki can make skin to skin contact with another person and temporarily weaken their abilities by half. If contact is made repeatedly, the dampening effect increases until the power is fully negated. The length of negation and how many hits it takes to depower an individual is on a case by case basis, it seems. (Permission Based)

Power Focus - Loki can help others focus their abilities to be better controlled. Unlike most of Loki’s powers; this seems to be a passive aura that he emits. Individuals can choose whether or not they want to be a part of this aura once they are aware of its existence. (Permission Based)

Power Augmentation - Loki can grab an individual and force their powers into overdrive. Unlike focus, this flat out increases what the power can do beyond its normal limitations. At the moment, it seems that the power augmentation effect can increase a powers effectiveness by 50% with a minor risk of overloading. (Permission Based)

Power Replication - Loki has to make prolonged skin to skin contact with another person in order to get their abilities, but when he does take them on; he knows how to use them instinctively. But as with all things, experience beats instinct. (Lasts until the end of the turn) (Permission Based)

Power Mixing - If Loki gains the abilities of two completely seperate metahumans, he can then mix those abilites together to create a new ability based on the strengths and weaknesses of those powers, i.e. regeneration and speed becoming hyper-healing. (Permission Based)

Power Recycling - If Loki finds a power to be useless or otherwise not good for a fight, Loki can recycle the energy that makes up the power and use it to buff themselves with strength, speed, and durability. The stronger the power, the better the strength, speed, and durability. (Permission Based)

Power Sharing - Loki can spread the powers that he gains to other people, at the cost of not being able to use that ability himself anymore. (Permission Based)

Loki requires skin to skin contact in order to use the vast majority of his powers. He can’t just touch someone with a glove on and grab their abilities, for instance.

Due to the nature of Loki’s ability, people whose “powers” are little more than natural talents or come from pure technology are immune to his own abilities wholesale.

Loki is allergic to shellfish.

Loki has to make skin to skin contact for a full 10 seconds before they can fully replicate any ability. Longer times for stronger powers. (One post where the contact isn’t broken by the person being touched)

Loki cannot mix two powers together that make no sense to mix.

Loki keeps all the weaknesses of the abilities replicated, and creates new weaknesses when mixing powers.

Powers that logically cancel each other out cannot be mixed together.

When power sharing, the person who is receiving the ability does not gain the instinctual knowledge that comes with Loki’s replication, and will require on the job learning.

Loki suffers from severe pain and distracting alterations when absorbing a heavily transformative ability.

When someone is about to have their power copied, they will begin experiencing severe dread. As if something awful is about to occur to them.

Expert public speaker - Loki is able to use his words to his advantage and get people to follow him based on what he says.

Martial Artist - Though only a blue belt, Loki has displayed minor prowess in hand to hand combat.

Alien bio-tech blaster pistol - A device that even Loki doesn’t know the origin of, this weapon is a marvel of technology that humans could only dream of creating at this day and age. The pistol is composed of both organic materials, noted by the eye that seems to be the focus for the weapons plasma based shot, and inorganic materials, involving the trigger, handle, and various other mechanisms inside the weapon. Strangely, Loki’s augmentation powers work on it and allow it to be super-charged.
Weakness: The weapons eye is necessary to aim the shot, and has weaknesses one would associate with an eye, such as having debris thrown in it to blind it. The eye also can’t be covered, or it will risk backfiring and requiring a couple of days to “heal”.

An odd expression of Loki’s meta-gene gave him the ability to manipulate other people's superpowers. Loki decided to become the peoples champion, and grant them the hero - or villain - they need.
