Getting Rusty

Faith walked out to the training grounds in shorts and a vest top. She'd finally been okayed from the medic bay and Scarlet was okay now. She was rusty. She hadn't been in her own body for so long it was hard to function it. The wings, the weight of her feet and arms, turns of her head, the direction of her eyes. IT was all confusion. You didn't know how hard it was to work a body until you hadn't done it in a long, long time. She stretched fully and then began doing warm ups. Running, touching the line, running back and then stretching out her muscles. It felt good - brilliant - to be Her. Walking over to the space set aside for sword work she drew her blade and began practicing, moving with skill and grace across the grounds, stabbing and upper cutting imaginary opponents.
