Erik has always had a sense of humor. Even when his wife and his world died, he could always see the brighter things in life. This kept him - mostly - sane during the apocalypse.

While he has a sense of humor, there is no denying that his life has left him with more than a little paranoia. Slow to trust, and even slower to actually like someone; Erik is best described to outsiders as helpful, but distant.

Dealing with criminals, leads to an interesting conflict. If Erik believes they have use; they’re treated to your typical superhero fair. Non-lethal attacks, quips, and recapture. However; if he deems them to be completely irredeemable, or useless; he will use lethal force. If they escape, then they get a chance to show him that they’re useful.

After seeing the destruction of his world; there’s only one thing he has on his mind. Bring together a team of defenders one way or another. Even if it means working with criminals.

Power Intuition - Through his training, Erik has the ability to discern what abilities others have just by looking at them. He doesn’t discern weaknesses, just the abilities. This isn’t 100% accurate, and he needs to know his opponent has abilities to begin with. [Permission Based]

Erik has to be able to see the power in use, and from there he can make a semi-reasonable guess.

If a power is particularly unique or rare; it’s likely that it’s something that Erik hasn’t seen before, and therefore won’t be able to know what it is.

If a power is invisible, he obviously won’t be able to tell what it is unless he’s directly effected by it.

Nanobot Swarm -

Description - These little specks of metal, though shiny, blend into nearly any background. When moving, they move as a silver insectoid swarm.

These tricky little things are either injected directly into a person’s bloodstream or ingested. When inside; the nanobots begin reprogramming the neural connections in the brain, making them more likely to see the illusions that Erik creates as real; and even cause their other senses to sell the illusion further. In extremely rare cases, these nanites have sold an illusion so well that the targets brain shut down after being “killed” by an illusion.
The nanites can simulate pleasure, pain, scents, and distort any other sense one has. They can even make you feel like you’ve taken damage, even when you haven’t. [Permission Based]

Nanite Covered Handkerchief - This stylish silver handkerchief when applied to a 5 foot by 5 foot object, it refracts the light that touches it, effectively making the object invisible.

Mo-Cap Suit and Hard light Projector Pen -

Description: A black uniform with a coyote paw patch on the chest, this suit is covered in tiny mo-cap balls, barely visible to the naked eye. The coveralls are made of wool, and loose enough to allow Erik the full range of movement.

This getup captures every movement Erik makes and transmits it to a laser pen. When Erik is in danger, he can activate a smoke screen and point his laser pen in any direction he wishes. Where the pen points, a duplicate appears and mimics his every action, and even his voice. The duplicate is made from Hard Light, meaning it can be touched and felt as normal.

Cypher Ring - A small segmented ring with silver and cyan strips mixed in.

This ring scrambles all video and audio perception of Erik. It even disrupts, HUD, Artificial Intelligences, and any type of technological lock on. If the type of tech is used to view him directly, it creates a blinding flash for a few seconds before returning to normal.

Voice and Scent Changing Collar - This small ring of metal and nanochips allows for not only the changing of his voice, but how he smells as well. Whatever would smell friendliest to a target is what is emitted. This is due to a chemical compound that only Erik knows at this point, which makes him - and anyone else exposed - smell exactly how the target wants them to smell.

Trickster Drones - Flying drones with small lights on them , very generic in appearance; they seem to almost levitate in the air.

These drones are equipped with incredibly powerful holographic technology. These allow him to transform an opponents environment into whatever he wants them to see, and when combined with the nanite swarm - or just the environment in general - they can become quite dangerous.

Medium Glasses - Erik has a pair of stylish sunglasses that allows him to see invisible beings and even spirits.

Coyotes Call - The calling card of coyote. This small wooden box has a stylized coyotes paw print etched on the top, and when he presses down releases a large cloud of black mist. This mist is actually incredibly small pouches of iron, lead and a substance called “Glar”. This Glar is actually a tar like adhesive, and when he presses down harder on the box; it releases a pulse of energy followed by an extremely loud coyotes call. When the pulse hits the mist, the mist heats up and becomes heavy. Sticking to everything. Once finished, everything in the room except for a small spot where the box was is covered in the stuff. There, in the middle of a perfectly I disturbed circle; lay the imprint of a coyotes paw.

High Heat - High heat can disable the swarm once inside their host. Blasts of heat above 500 degrees fahrenheit can easily disable the swarm, which will then pass as normal.

Movement - If something moves in front of the object covered by the obscuring nanites; the effect will be obvious, as the thing will disappear behind it. In addition, moving the object in any way will reveal a distortion in the image as the nanobots try to reconfigure the image.

Lag - There is a small amount of lag between the image and what Erik is doing. If, for instance, someone were to hit the image; the reaction would be slightly delayed on Eriks part if he were to respond. This extends to any sort of response the duplicate makes.

Magic - Where Erik comes from, Magic is rare. Thus, technology has little to no defense against it. This means that any of his items can be disabled through magical and mystical interference.

Just an illusion - While the illusions formed by the Trickster Drones are incredibly realistic, and even painful to those who get hit offensively by them; it’s important to remember that the attacks made by the drones are just an illusion, and any damage done is purely psychological. No lasting physical damage is done unless hit by something physical.

Chemical Reactions - If for whatever reason the chemical reaction doesn’t take place, be this because of extenuating circumstances such as another chemical being thrown into the mix, or wind blowing it away; or other circumstances, the heating and stickiness of the glar will not activate.

Limited Charge - The pen is limited to one use per charge; the pen lasts (1 - 3 posts) before the charge dies and must be recharged. A recharge takes (3 - 4 posts).

Electrical Charge - When the nanobots  are exposed to an electric charge - such as a taser - the nanobots a disabled for a short period of time.

Pen Break - If the pen is broken, the duplicate disappears.

Sonic Attacks - When the Glar is exposed to a sonic attack, it reverts to a liquid state.

Percussive Damage - If percussive force is used against the Glar, it breaks and releases its trap.

Not technically his - Both the coyotes call and the trickster drones are created by someone else. Cale and Olympus respectively. If he were to lose contact with them for whatever reason; these items would become a limited quantity.

A super-spy from an alternate dimension where the zombie apocalypse not only happened, but targeted individuals with an active meta-gene; Coyote has a large array of technology and skills to assist him in his crime fighting day to day.

Martial Arts Background - Erik has been trained in a number of martial arts, and could be considered among the best combatants in his universe.

Spy Gear - Along with the items listed above, Erik has a number of mundane items he uses, such as an array of guns, bladed weapons, and small explosives like frag grenades, and C4. He also has bulletproof jackets, riot gear, etc.
