Despite being raised with a crime lord father, Mia is a well-adjusted young woman. She’s empathetic and generous, but knows when she has to draw a line and take care of herself. She maintains a strong sense of pride, but does her best to keep it from making decisions for her. And, of course, when the time is right, she has a sharp wit and a sharper tongue.


Mia was raised in Argentina, with a crime lord father and a lowborn but beautiful mother.

When she was still a child and her family took a vacation to her father’s home, she met the extraterrestrial robot INN-D. The two became fast friends, and Mia would often slip out at night or in the middle of meal times to play with ‘Indy’ just outside the village. When her father discovered the robot, Mia was afraid her father would prevent them from remaining friends. After crying and pleading for hours, Mia managed to convince Señor Garcia to see her way. In truth, however, El Padre Garcia was seeing things his way.

Mia was initially excited when her father invited Indy to accompany the family back to the city. That excitement, however, quickly faded as she realized her father only invited Indy back to make money with him. The days that Indy and Mia could hang out were few and far between, as Indy was busy from dawn to dusk and Mia’s schoolwork exhausted her by evening.

Some years later, just a little while after reaching adulthood, Mia decided that she and Indy would move to the United States of America. She stole a sizeable amount of money from her father, disguised Indy, and got them both through customs and out of the country.

Now, she attends university while Indy sits at home as a full-time mooch.

[Latent] Intuitive Mechanist - Though she doesn’t yet know it, Mia possesses a supernatural level of intuitive intelligence, primarily focused on electromechanical systems and mechatronics engineering. This power manifested early in her childhood, and was shaped by her time spent with Indy. It allows her to analyze and understand complex mechatronic systems, as well as design improvements, modifications, or add-ons thereof.


Brainmelt - As a result of her power, Mia’s brain ‘overclocks’ itself and requires a fairly cool environment to be effective in. For mundane, low-level usage of her power, simply providing a cool room is enough. For higher-level usage, which she has yet to take advantage of, she requires something on the order of an unheated garage in the winter.

Unproductive Loops - Long-term usage of her power -- such as working on large, complicated projects -- can lead to Mia getting herself stuck in a loop where she attempts to find a solution to find a solution to find a solution to this insignificant issue that fixing would cause a net performance improvement of 0.5%. Without others around to distract her from the project and therefore break the loop, she can work herself into such a high stress state that a hospital visit will soon be in order.
