Looking for some light RP with the Octasquad.

I've got a character called Jeremy Bennit/The Octasquad.
He's an ex-father/electrician turned vigilante and he doesn't really know what he's doing.

Ya see, he's in his mid 30s. He can't hang out with the youngins like he used to.
He lives in a below average apartment in Philly.
He doesn't know how to date.
His income as an electrician is wholly dependant on things breaking, and as a superhero he tries to stop that happening.
He doesn't know martial arts, his fighting talent comes from self help YouTube videos.
And with eight bodies to deal with he has to line up with himself to go the toilet.

I wanna get him out meeting other people, whether he be fighting against/with them or he might just be looking for a room mate to help pay rent.

I am so sorry I missed the "lives in a crappy apt in philly part!!!". My character's based in NYC but maybe she's there on a school trip or some shit?

Should there be some sort of cyborg attack or a cult incursion? Or maybe a cyborg-cult, I think Philly would have one of those. Like a group that takes children with disabilities and tries to make them 'better' with crude cybernetics with pseudo religious undertones.

I'll get started on a thread, setting up the premise 'n' whatnot. Will leave it considerably open, but lemme know if there's any specific leads/tidbits I should mention.

As far as I'm concerned both you guys are invited to involve yourselves however you like. I'm going by real world geography so if you want you can do what I did and check out Logan Square on google maps but that may have just been me taking it too far lol. Lemme know if there's any mistakes/poor clarifications in my writing too <3

That could actually be hilarious because Bennit's a bunch of really crappy ninjas essentially. Definitely something I'm interested in, Bennit could use a proper trainer. I'll say no for where we currently are in the thread I've got going, but:
we could just start another completely different thread OR
I have a plan for a night time infiltration RP that follows this current one that might suit him real well, with, ya know, bein a NINJA
