New Horizons (Silver Scion & Jeannie Rose) [Double XP]

Sunrise.

It shone brightly on the horizon, casting its light over its namesake city. A perfect name, really, for more reasons than just its scenic looks; Horizon City was a place of new beginnings in life as well as exploration into new fields of science and technology.

The silicon valley of the east coast, some called it.

For Israel Knight, it was home... And as the clouds below them parted and it came into view below their plane, he couldn't help but feel happy to be back.

Israel turned to Jeannie in the seat next to him. "Welcome to the city of new beginnings."

so Jeannie is pretty excited she has an interview for a new job!  she's going to be a secret agent wanting to look the part.

so she asked  her mommy to help her buy a nice suit to wear to her interview
well she's was not sure about the 007 stuff Jeannie was babbling about but she thought it was nice to see Jeannie trying to be professional. so Jeannie now found on a plane with Mr. knight.

a pretty nice fellow who was handling her orientation thingy. she's not sure what that might be but him seeming friendly makes her less nervous.

he brings to her attention they were reaching their destination. excited Jeannie looks out the window. city of new beginnings. what an interesting name, looks pretty can't wait to see it! Bet it's full of all kinds of fun things to do! Jeannie then blushes realizing she was making a scene and climbed over him to get to the windowoh sorry Mr. knight, don't me to be unprofessional.  I get excited about going to new places, it's kinda hard to hold it in.

Israel looked a bit puzzled as Jeannie climbed over him somewhat, but smiled slightly in an amused sort of way when she explained her behavior.

"It's Agent Knight, actually. You have to get used to that moniker for yourself as well... And we can take in the sights later. First we need to go over your orientation." He said as the flight began its descent towards the airport.

"We'll be landing shortly. Then we can see just how much self-defense training you have."

The plane slowly glided to a stop and its passengers began to file out of it.

ok agent knight, that sounds good huh she'll have to make a note of to remember that. she is not a very formal person. so she'll have to remember the titles and stuff when talking to agent knight then. as that seems important to him and she wants to make him happy.

darn, he's the work then play kinda guy. oh well, at least he said they'd eventually have some fun.so what is the orientation thing? Self-defense like karate? well good thing I've seen a lot of kung fu movies then

Jeannie smiles hopefully she can make a good impression with the self-defense thingy as she know a bit about fighting stuff

As the passengers all gradually left the plane, Israel joined them, waiting for Jeannie to do so as well as they made their way out of the Airport. A black car awaited them outside, with a man opening one of the car's side-doors for them. "Welcome, Agent Knight" He said, then looked toward Jeannie and nodded: "Ms. Rose."

Israel waited for Jeannie to get in first, then he got in as well and the car started on its way.

"So, Ms. Rose." Israel said, pulling out her application. "It says here that you possess various augmented versions of otherwise natural abilities, and that you gained these abilities from animal genetics being somehow integrated with your own?"

Israel eyed her for a short while before speaking.

"I see... And do you have any formal combat training?"

um well what exactly do you mean by formal combat training. I've been taking karate since I was a kid cause I loved kung fu movies and wanted to learn stuff like that. I wrestled in high school. I had a friend on the wrestling team from brazil, her daddy was a jujitsu teacher. he was nice and let me take some free lessons from him.

then I've been into boxing for awhile. I know a little better about guns from that test you take to get to carry them and my grandpa was a soldier in the war with the evil mustache guy. he showed me some bomb stuff too.

he helped me study for stuff like that. oh and I learned how to throw knives when i worked in a circus.

but if you mean like actual army guy stuff no, unless playing call of duty counts Jeannie smiles hoping he was happy with her answer.

Israel raised an eyebrow.

"I appreciate your enthusiasm, Ms. Rose, but you will have to take things more seriously. For instance, speaking unambiguously. I assume you were referring to Hitler with your Evil Mustache Guy comment?"

yeah that's the one. sorry I'll try to work on that. I'm not the best at being serious. so besides that was my answer good?

huh, Jeannie guesses she'll have to try to be more professional ok then she can do that she thinks.

Israel nodded.

"Yes, I suppose it answered the question."

great so what's next? are we where ever it is where going let? are we going to the secret spy base Jeannie curiously looks out the car window

Israel sighed as the car pulled to a complete stop. "We're here." he said, opening the door and stepping out of the car, whilst holding it open for Jeannie. "Ms. Rose?" He asked, waiting for her to step out before closing the door.

Israel shut the car door behind her and gestured to the large black-metal structure that loomed over them.

"This is an ISO evaluation facility, here we will be able to evaluate your strength, speed, agility, endurance, and durability as part of your COE eval. Step this way, please."

He said, walking up to the doors and placing his hand on a pad, which flashed before the primary doors opened.
