Quite ruthless and a lover of fear and pain, there's no doubt that he's somewhat crazy. There's also no question about him being considered a psychopath. To put it simply, he's wild, killer, ruthless and not the friendliest guy you'd ever meet. At least he cares for his family. You see, demons are very protective of what they hold dear and Nolan is no exception.


He was born to two normal, human parents but, due to when, he was born with demonic energies. A demon called Mikán, posing as an uncle (he manipulated the memories of Nolan's parents) helps the young king first to mask his energies from other supernaturals and then taught him how to control his power. As Nolan turned thirteen, his energies flared, giving away his location. Mikán was killed by Driskól, another demon, who was trying to kill Nolan. But Mikán didn't die in vain; Driskól was so injured that he had to retreat and, by the time he was good enough to hunt down Nolan again, the young king's energies were masked again.

Six years ago, his mother had a child, a young girl. But both were dying. Nolan chose to save his newborn sister and imbued her with some of his demonic energy. The reason he chose his sister instead of his mother is because he felt that it might be harder for the energies to bond to an adult.

It has been three years since the day that Mikán died and Nolan, while not yet a master of his powers, is still quite powerful. He also enjoys the feel of pain. As well, he has a constant habit of scaring the living daylights out of mortals, save for those close to him, so that he can fufil his addiction to the taste of fear.

1)Fear: By feeding on fear, he not only gains more power but, if he feeds on enough of it, he does not need to eat actual human food or drink nor will he need to sleep.

2) Wings: He flies a lot to scare mortals, typically gliding and dive-bombing.

3) Tail: He has a tail that, while not quite usable as an extra appendage, can be consciously moved around.

4) Advanced healing: He heals almost instantly from nearly all injuries.

5) Fire: He tends to either create large fireballs or set himself on fire.

6) Enhanced Senses: Not only does he have amazing eyesight and an astounding sense of hearing but he is able to smell emotions. This could also be why he's able to tell when his family is in danger.


1) Fearless Beings: Being deprived of fear lessens his abilities.

2) Drunk on Fear: The more fear he feeds on the crazier he becomes and the less he actually thinks about what he's doing or how he's doing it.

3) Tail: His tail, at the moment, can't lift much more than the average preteen.

4) Weakened: Weakened abilities especially means the healing and, without it, he's easier to near-fatally injure.

5) Water: A natural adversary to fire which is already weakened if he's deprived of fear.

6) Multi Tasking: Having too much stimuli can be detrimental to his focus.


He's a rising demon king... he's got several of the rascals unter his thumb.

He does his best to keep the more powerful demons from wreaking too much havoc on the world while allowing the weaker ones free reign - so long as they're no higher than an eight, he's fine with them. Well, and as long as they don't harm any of his family. You see, demons are very protective of what they hold dear. Should one kill anyone close to his heart, he will show no mercy.

His sister is especially dear to him considering she, at least in personality, is a true demon like him.

He enjoys the feel of pain and will often allow himself to be hit just to get the rush that comes from pain. It's like an energy drink for him. And fear is like coffee or alcohol.


I stared into the black void that was the sky, golden eyes surely glowing in the night, deathly pale skin standing out against the darkness. Ashen hair blew in the soft breeze as I leaped off the building’s roof, form shifting, nails elongating, teeth growing into fangs, ears changing so as to be long and pointy. Bones sprouted from my back, ripping through skin, forming wings and a long tail, a thin layer of muscle and skin over them. I plummeted several feet before opening my wings, rising a foot before gliding. I soon began flapping, rising higher and higher, circling buildings, sometimes hearing screams at times. A laugh escaped me as I took a deep breath. Fear... the best food of all...
