Long Night Out

Maikeru flew backward into a tree. The tree was thin enough for it to snap. The young metahuman landed on the floor. His tolerance for pain was high, but he at least FELT that. He got up and dusted himself off. He could easily just turn into a giant snake and devour these five assholes. But no. He didn't need to. He saw them as lightwork. Though his arrogance had been his downfall before. What they slightly lacked in strength, they more than made up for in skill with some form of martial arts Maikeru didn't care to figure out. Maikeru was just walking in the woods, on his way to the mountains, until he was attacked by well dressed teenagers. They didn't look too much younger than he did. They were all pale and sharp hungry fangs. Me felt the snapping of his bones. And then he felt them unsnap.
“Alright you punk ass bitches! I'm gonna-”
Out of nowhere, a girl in a tight black dress jumped kicked him in the head, and a boy side swept his legs from underneath him, causing the Metahuman to fall on his back. There were three boys and two girls. They were fast. And they laughed.
“At least he’s tenacious.”
“Yeah, he doesn't scream and cry like most prey.” If Maikeru wasn't so prideful he would just turn into a giant monster and slaughter them. He started to get up, but one a tall slender girl put her high heel into his chest. “Stay down, and just die like good little prey.” Maikeru’s face twisted with rage. He used both hands to grab her ankle and push it upward throwing her in the air. Using that as a diversion, he got up and punched the tallest guy in the face. The others grabbed him and pinned him to the grown. The female he threw into the air got up and angrily stormed towards him. “I want first bite.” She got on top of him and smirked devilishly, while the others laughing. “I'm going to enjoy this.” Maikeru scowled. He felt his every inch of his body move. These mother fuckers want to fuck with me? They think they can get away with this shit!? I'm going to give them something to fuck with!

Night Walker drove his van through the woods; having heard strange reports about monsters kidnapping children in the area. While local law enforcement were busy getting themselves eaten; a resourceful redditor had tipped off r/underthebed. Luckily, Night Walker had gotten to it before an idiot could play hero. Or... So he thought.

When he parked the rad-van; he saw that a group that he recognized as vampires had a teenager around his age pinned on the ground. He quickly jumped to action, grabbing his crossbow and loading it with 10 stake arrows. He shot the first into the vampire standing on the boy directly in the chest, a scream and an explosion of bloody goo later; she was no longer there. He quickly flipped around to the second nearest vamp, and fired rapidly. Unfortunately the damnable thing ran into the forest. He’d have to go after that one later. He dove for the lost arrow, and aimed for the third vampire. Which hit the creature in the knee, it disabled it momentarily but it didn’t kill it. Reaching for a UV grenade; he tossed it and hid behind a tree as the thing lit up the area for a few seconds. He rolled out from behind the tree to look for survivors, but only finding the other teen.

”And that is why… You let the professionals handle hunting.” Night Walker said extending his hand towards the other kid. ”You good?”

Just when Maikeru was about to transform into a giant spider hawk, the hum of an engine halting, stopping everyone, him and his attackers. He looked to see someone get out of the bright red van. The mysterious man moved quickly. Something flew out of nowhere and shot the freaky pale bitch in the chest. Maikeru was covered in blood. “What the fuck!?”
He watched as the man took action. Shooting them left in right. The one in a dress got away. Maikeru slowly moved to his feat. He was soon blinded by a powerful light.


Maikeru was not in the least bit grateful. He was as pissed as he was grateful. He wanted to make them fear for their lives. He wanted to decimate them himself. He stormed up to the…man? It turned out he was actually younger than Maikeru himself. Shrugging this fact off he shoved the young man. Maybe harder than he should, on the account of his enhanced strength. “I could have handled it myself! I was just about decimate them! Until you showed up!”

Seth had turned his back on the kid to check his gear. That was his last UV grenade, and unfortunately that meant that he'd be reliant purely on his stakes and whatever supplies he had in his van. He knew he had a UV Saber in the van, but after his fancy maneuvers he wasn't really sure if the glass had held. He turned to the other kid, and found him to be quite irate. He raised his hands to say something, but he was shoved and fell against a tree quite hard. He was pretty sure blood ran down his leg as it scraped against the tree.

The older kid started yelling that he could’ve handled it; as if he was one of those heroes that Seth had seen on TV. Please. Seth knew that metahumans may have been getting more common, but even with a meta-gene; Seth didn’t think he would’ve been able to take on 5 vampires. Especially ones that had been feeding regularly.

”Alright, Atlas. Whatever you say.” Seth grumbled. ”I’ll just let you take care of the rest of the monsters that are probably lurking nearby.” Seth said rolling his eyes. He shouldered the crossbow strap and started moving out. ”Feel free to stay in the forest, but I’m going hunting.”

Maikeru was NOT keen on the arrogant little asshole. The way he just ignored him. CRIMINAL! He wasn't far from hating him as much as the teens that attacked him. Maikeru clenched his fists and teeth. His previous injuries had already healed. But then he hears noise all around him. Fast footsteps everywhere. He ignored it. He was about to tell this buck off. “Listen here you little shit-”

He is interrupted by the “ahem” of someone clearing their throat. Maikeru looked up to see a man standing on a branch. He looked around to find that many other branches were occupied by people, of all ages. The younger teenaged ones wore Gothic clothes. Maikeru looked over to the red van, watching people sit on it smugly. He looked up to find that a man who seemed to be in his forties was lavishly dressed, wearing black gems and overdid it with the make up. Next to him was the girl in the black dressed that got away. “Excuse me, I am terribly sorry but we have been allowing teenagers into our ranks a lot lately to increase size. And they just love to hunt like animals. So much arrogance and so little discipline. Discipline is valued. Arrogance is PUNISHED… “ He took out a sharp piece of wood and shoved it I to the girl in the dress. Blood exploded everywhere. “You have found out of our existence on these areas. And because of the growing of organizations that wish to destroy us, you have to die. Now.”

Maikeru looked around. There were a lot of them. He turned to the mysterious teen. “Unless you have something up your sleeve I'm pulling something from mine.”
