Character Advancement Name: Absorption

Character Advancement Description:  Activated only by a select number of Sirens. This is the evolved version of their race's Fusion ability.

Character Advancement Powers: This gives them the power to absorb almost anything they desire, such as various forms of energy, metals, plant material, and in some cases living organisms and then use that to augment their own selves, which is usually done through simple contact and intense focus.

This means they can absorb an electric attack and gain temporary electrokinesis which can be applied to their weapons, or absorb fire and then use it as a type of pyrokinesis. Assimilating metals can give them a more durable exterior that augments physical attacks and durability. Also, absorbing living organisms gives them the target's skills, traits and knowledge.

Character Advancement Weakness(es): Although powerful and flexible, Absorption does have a number of weaknesses.

Absorbing a PC requires them to be dead and for permission from their owner.

The absorbed powers, regardless of where they come from, are NOT permanent, and will gradually fade over time. Said powers also do not transfer from one thread to another. Also, each power comes with two additional weaknesses such as being dowsed in water makes it nearly impossible to use pyrokinesis, becoming metal limits mobility so an inability to fly, etc.
They can also only retain one copied power at a time and acquiring a new one "overwrites" the current ability.

On top of that, they are NOT immune or anymore resistant to the enemy's powers and can still be harmed like normal.

Finally, they have a minor allergy of sorts when exposed to extremely cold temperatures which causes them to break out into itchy hives.

Ok, because this is similar to the way i set up Gamma, and because you get two weaknesses per power, I'm approving it. Keep in mind absorbing player items also needs permission.

Also good that you only get one power at a time. Nicely balanced.

Item/Character Advancement Name: The Two Sirens

Character Advancement Description: At one point during their adventures, Siren ended up saving a group of trapped Space Sirens whom fused together into another merged Siren. The two Sirens then joined together as one, becoming much more powerful in the process.

Character Advancement Power(s):

Augmented Powers:

Advanced Psychokinesis: Siren's psychic power has been boosted greatly, making them capable of crushing most mundane objects with little effort, improving their physical attributes with a telekinetic field ,  and even generating a type of psychic "push" that can be used to smash through several layers of solid steel plating from a distance. There is also much less of a strain when using their telekinesis now.

Advanced Metamorphosis: Siren's shapeshifting extends to the molecular level now, meaning they can morph into whatever they can think of and alter their size to vast extents, going down to barely even six inches tall and up to 60 feet, maximum while retaining their strength and durability.

Character Advancement Weakness(es):

-Retains the same weaknesses and limits they had before. Magic is still a big one for them.

-Siren's maximum size on crushing objects with her mind is in the range of a tank.

-Siren's size altering has the potential to make them get exhausted more easily the larger in size they go. As such, forcing her into a situation where she has to deal with multiple fast-moving targets is a good way to disorient and tire her out, forcing her to resume her normal size.

Item/Character Advancement Name: The Queen's Evolution

Item/Character Advancement Description: Siren's efforts to return Aurora home pay off, to a degree, when they rescue another large number of Space Sirens  being taken for testing by a radical wing of the military to a secret installation. After freeing them, the group flee to a deserted island which they begin to use their combined power to form a safe haven for their kind, with their rescuer being elected as their leader and protector, leading to first multiple Sirens being fused with them and their new power causing them to draw in and start fusing other creatures to create their Queen.


Item/Character Advancement Power(s):

Tactile Bio-Accelerated Healing: By making contact with a person, Siren can focus their considerable psychic energy to heal wounds and speed up the body's natural healing processes far beyond its natural limits, allowing for restoration from all sorts of wounds from broken bones to punctured organs and can even expel poisons and remove genetic abnormalities. It can even regrow limbs with enough time and energy and even fix damage to a target's brain.

Item/Character Advancement Weakness(es):

As powerful as their healing is, it puts a heavy toll on Siren, to the point that they require time and energy to heal the more serious wounds. For example, a broken bone requires at least one post to fix, punctured organs require at least two, and anything more serious requires at least three posts and at this point is so draining Siren is unable to even move for a short while afterwards. They are also defenseless when healing someone

Item/Character Advancement Name: The Siren's Song

Item/Character Advancement Description: At long last, Alan and Aurora had succeeded. By uniting their voices with all those they rescued, they opened a gateway to the homeworld of the Sirens. Although it was wonderful to finally be home again, Alan and Aurora knew their time on Earth had to continue, but instead of wanting them to go back alone, all the Sirens came together and the entire race united as one being with them.

Reborn as the perfect mix of male and female(Akhenhapi), Siren is now ready to fight with all the power entrusted to them by their people, and to ensure their continued survival...


Item/Character Advancement Power(s):  

Advanced Sound Manipulation

Helical Waveform Akoustikinesis: Thanks to inheriting the power and intuition of their race, Siren's voice is many leagues more powerful than it once was, allowing them to achieve new effects with their voice. Among the main effects is Akoustikinesis which creates helical sound nodes that can then be used to manipulate very tiny things, usually in the form of singing.

This allows them to trigger vibrations which can then be used for a number of feats ranging from generating intense heat, hacking, breaching barriers, and , when combined with Psychokinesis, reshaping matter for feats such as making rift gates, creating items, or causing materials to change shape and attack a target.

Advanced Telepathy: A powered-up version of their Telepathy, which turns their ability to sense emotions into Pathokinesis, which allows them to lessen or amplify emotions at will, meaning a target feeling much anger could fly into a blind rage, or if they are sad, they can retreat into their shell and not want to do anything. They can also mentally commune with both animals and people.


Item/Character Advancement Weakness(es): Despite the power provided by their control over Helical Waveforms, there are two major weaknesses to this: First is the inability to directly kill anyone with it or trigger things that lead to instant defeat. Secondly, as a reference to the inspiration for it (Dr Who's Sonic Screwdriver) this ability is weak to wood. On top of that, it can only affect things within Siren's field of view. Also, when in extremely cold environments, they lose their ability to wield this power.

As before, Siren's telepathy is permission-based and does not affect beings either immune to mental tampering, or are machines. Their ability to commune with others only works once they make physical contact.
