Tharizdun is a chaotic force that wishes to be freed from the Abyss. Tharizdun has become insane over the course of his life. He no longer wishes to be an evil or a good and now only wishes to destroy and renew the world in his image. Tharizdun seeks out followers and tempts them with his influence, causing them to lose their sanity and give up anything to free their Patron. Tharizdun seeks the total annihilation of all existence, even to the extent of destroying reality itself.

Maximus was a kind and young man. Maximus was a helpful person, helping the weak and defenseless anytime he could. Maximus was very religious, often praying to a God for guidance and assistance. Maximus despises his other half but finds himself losing control most of the time. Maximus is, in his heart, pure and good, but the influence of Tharizdun sullied his soul.

Equilibrium is a mixture of the two. Maximus was given the curse of Tharizdun coursing through him to destroy, corrupt, and decay. Maximus himself wishes to use this curse as a gift for good. Equilibrium is a mix of those ideals, often ending up on neither side. Equilibrium is the only compromise between the two, allowing the use of power for destruction and death or protecting and saving.



Maximus was an ordinary man, devoid of any powers. He had always searched for a way to do good and to give back in his life. He joined charities and he donated yet he was not satisfied. He turned to religion to give his mercy to others. He started going through the trials to become a priest.

Maximus was happy and enjoying the trials. He had been a devoted follower of God and gave away to the poor. One day, he was about to help the poor once more when he heard a voice. He heard a soft and calming voice, one that told him that it was the voice of God himself. Maximus was gullible and followed the voices commands.

The voices commands were simple and easy at first. They alligned with Maximus and his goals. They seemingly helped them, they managed to get food and ater and everything they needed. Maximus was happy doing this at first. Suddenly, he heard a laughter, dark and sinister. The so-called voice of god appeared before him as a being of complete evil, darkness and chaos. He watched in horror as this being showed him the people, tearing out each other's throats and killing each other, all because of the so-called acts of charity he committed. Maximus did not want to unleash this force into the world so they made a deal. This being, Tharizdun, would inhabit his body.

1.Shadow Creation- Ability to create items out of shadows temporarily.
2.Decay-Ability to turn anything touched long enough into rot.
3. Mark of Insanity-Places a mark on the victim, that victim now swears allegiance to Tharizdun while still retaining other thoughts and ideals.


1.Insanity-Everytime he uses his power, he slowly deteriorates as his mind cannot hold the God for long.
2.Morality-Everytime he uses decay or the mark of insanity, he regrets it and it is engraved in his mind forever, as something he should atone for, further dividing himself and the God.
3.Limitations-Maximus can only use each power a limited amount of times per thread. The number is based on the tier level + 2.


Mace of Terror- This mace can create a wave of dark energy that captures the victim in their greatest nightmare. They will see everything around them as their greatest source of fear, with Tharizdun at the center of it. He can use it three times per thread. Otherwise, it is just a regular mace.

Spellguard Shield- This shield can resist the effects of any magical power or spell, as long as the caster or user of the power is equal to or weaker than Tharizdun (based on the Tier levels). Otherwise it is a regular shield.

Plate Armor- Regular old plate armor, almost invulnerable to normal people, but to the heroes of today, could be as fragile as glass.

His eyes turn pitch black when he uses his power and his items glow a dark purple aura. Shadows seemingly bend closer towards him and the atmosphere gets a little colder. It returns to normal afterwards.



"So, you are my champion now. Do you not feel my power, my immense presence? Do you not shake in your boots at the mere sight of my divine form? It seems as though you are brave, braver than most. I commend you for it. It will be so much more satisfying to tear it away from you. Tharizdun says with an echoing voice. He chuckled in the end yet, his form was completely still and unmoving, and his voice appeared every where. It seemed as if his words only appeared in his mind.

Maximus was terrified but he knew that weakness was not an option. He stood his ground and made his point clear. "Try your best. I will not fall. You are no God, none of mine! I pray to a God of good, a God who is willing to help those in need. I do not serve some chaotic force of death and corruption. So, try and break me. You will not succeed. You will fall, eventually, I will make sure of it!" He said with a scowl of hatred across his face. He kenw that this inner struggle was meaningless as he was not strong enough to cast out this being that resides in him. All he can do is delay, dampen, and diminish his uprising. However, he knew that one day, Tharizdun will escape and the multiverse shall be destroyed.
