Contrary to what her powers might allude to, Rhea is calm and collected at (almost) all times. It seems she always has a smart remark for any insult and insults others with ease and sass. Although her face may seem a blank slate just like her tone, Rhea's personality can shine under the right circumstances.


Rhea Trinity Jaheem was born and raised in a small townhouse located in South Philly. Growing up in a poor family, Rhea went to public shool all her life and learned how to handle herself quite well in an urban environment such as that one. Rhea has had her powers for as long as she can remember, and to this day has no clue where they came from though her parents suspect it had to do with her mother's job at a nuclear power plant.

After graduating with a 4.2 GPA, Rhea was accepted for a scholarship to Harvard (with a bit of help from her powers) and studied accounting there for a year. After hearing rumors of so-called 'superheroes'  becoming saviors around the world, she reconsidered her future and dropped out of school to save some lives and beat up some villain scum.

Rhea took on the alias of 'Ruby Synapse' thanks to her peculiar ability to influence emotions and her crimson hair. She developed a decent reputation with the residents of Philly and even earned some cash while doing it. Rhea has bigger dreams, though, and moved to San Fransisco, California to challenge new villains and grow her powers.

Pathokinesis: Rhea has the ability to nudge anything living thing's emotions this way or that, Ex. invoking feelings of anger in someone or something.


Rhabdophobia: Rhea has an overwhelming fear of magic, and has difficulty functioning properly when affected by her phobia. It was initially caused by a magician making a mistake at her seventh birthday party and sawing her friend in half (she spent 6 months in ICU).


Whip: Rhea carries a red, leather whip with a hard metal point at the end for her primary weapon. despite its flimsy looks, it can easily leave a scar on anyone who gets in her way.
Pistol: Rhea has a desert eagle strapped to her belt at all times,  just in case her trusty whip fails her.
Other: Rhea carries around non-weapons too, such as her phone, wallet, and apartment keys in her pockets.

Rhea puffed on her cigar as she admired the murky waters below her, her hair blowing this way and that from the cars zipping past her. "Man, this is real nice. Guess I owe Marnie 20 bucks for tipping me off about California. Rhea flicked the ash off her cigar and dropped it on the ground, about to turn back, when she heard a man's sobbing behind her. "What the.." Rhea slowly turned around and saw a 50 something-year-old man resting his hands on the railing of the bridge, muscles tensing as if he was about to vault over the railing. Rhea quickly recognized what this man was planning. He was going to jump.
