Sahil is a tall muscular boy with a tall height for his age. His hair is short and wild with a red color. Sahil usually wears a nice jacket with a black shirt. He is a bit tanned but is usually very pale even though he has Indian heritage.

When Sahil says the magical words and becomes the Upbring, a magical being with a sword. The sword is just a normal sword with a purple handle. The Upbring has long black hair with his chest shown out. The left eye is closed but the right eye is still perfectly fine. He has gauntlets, a nice robe for the bottom, and some armor for the left arm.

Sahil is quite lazy and spends a lot of his time sleeping, which he does so much that he is able to fall into a deep sleep in a matter of seconds. Likewise, he is not affected from being woken up by a head slam, reacting calmly when such an incident occurs. In contrast to this casual nature of his, Sahil has been known to be the most violent in his community and was holding the title "Diablo". Sahil also appears to have bad manners.  Food is occasionally an attribution to Sahil's dark and dirty sense of humor. Even though he may look like an asshole, he still cares for his friends. He even has a moral rule, saying that no matter who he steals from or who he defeats, he will never kill. He also has a huge belief in that money means everything. Money can do anything for anyone.


Stories have been written and spread about heroes obtaining power from the gods for pure heroic justice and deeds to protect the innocent. These stories have been passed down from generation to generation of amazing heroes who fight for their lives. However, nobody wants to here this one story. This story is nothing like any other, with many twists and surprises at every corner. This is the story of Sahil Shah, but you can him the Upbring.

Sahil was born in America in NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital. Before that, Sahil's parents lived in India with the father being Indian and the mother being Polish. Sahil had a normal life with his father working in a well-established law firm He even got into a private school for his middle school years. His parents placed him in a self-defence class at a young age. He earned his black belt in karate at the age of 8 and was able to defeat people who were 3-5 years older than himself. However, one day, his father was found dead in front of the house when Sahil was the age of 10. His eyes were in shock as he saw his mom crying as she went into her room and started crying.  He was shown with a huge hole in his body, showing that it could have been done by a metahuman. Even though the police put this as a suicide, Sahil knew this was a murder. After that, he always wanted to find out who killed his father.

Over the years, Sahil took a different turn as he started to become more of a "problem child". Because his mom stopped working and the family lost all the money and the house when the father died, he had to make money in his own way. This involved stealing and bullying other kids for money. He was still very smart in his public middle school, but he never did the work or participated in class. He even threatened teachers on a daily basis and pulled pranks on the principle. He even gained the title "Diablo" from beating up a gang leader's son, Pablo. Pablo was originally stealing from Sahil's friend Shawn.

After class, Pablo and his minions grabbed Shawn and dragged him into the bathroom where they tortured him greatly. After Sahil heard about Shawn's defeat, he quickly ran to the hospital. Shawn was awake but was badly hurt, with a mild concussion and both his arms fractured. The injured child explained his situation toward Sahil and pleaded to him that he does not want him to go and fight. Instead of listening to Shawn, Sahil ran through the door of the hospital and headed down another street.

Sahil walked down the street, eying the criminals. They were either grinning at him or smoking a joint from the corner of his eye. Sahil would finally be in front of the bonfire, with Pablo and his friends placing their hands above the fire, grinning and laughing. Sahil walks up to Pablo with his hands clenched into a fist. Pablo turns to Sahil with a smirk. "Oh, it's you. Did you see your boyf-" The angered Indian would punch Pablo across the face. "Shut up..." Teeth and blood were on the floor as a mixture, laying next to Pablo's head. Sahil would stare at the gang of friends as they started to shiver. He would then point his finger into a direction as they all ran away in fear. The next morning, Pablo and his whole gang of friends were in the hospital while Sahil was in his house, putting on a huge grin.

Later on in the year, Sahil starts to get an interest in the Rise. He does not believe in the whole world reform, but he does think the metahumans should be controlled. In Sahil's own time to work, he would start to look at newspapers and articles about his father's death and similar deaths. Sahil believes that if he can use Rise's resources, he can definitely find the killer of his father and give him justice.

Further, in the year, an exchange student visits the class. She enters with a bold presence when the name "Marie" was called. From her appearance, Sahil would notice Marie and looks at her with confusion. Sahil had a distaste for her, always ignoring her. They even got into arguments on who got the problem right or who would win in the athlete competition.

For Sahil, she starts to like Marie for a bit. With an embarrassment, Sahil would start buying her gifts and always hanged out with her. Finally, Sahil got the guts in order to ask her on a date and she said yes. Throughout the whole week, Sahil started to get ready for the big date. He bought a nice shirt and dress pants which he absolutely hated but he wanted to make Marie happy.

On the date, Marie and Sahil were walking down the street. Sahil was blushing as he was trying to talk to Marie. "So...wanna hold hands?" Marie quickly grabs Sahil's arm into a hug, as they walked down to the cafe. Sahil continued to blush as he opened the door for Marie to walk in. At that point, Sahil thought everything was going great. He found loved someone who liked him back, he does not have to deal with the metahuman thing, and no one is gonna stop Sahil from getting what he wants. Until. Now.

The cafe would fall down into pieces as people would run away with screams and cries. A menacing appearance would float down, landing in front of Sahil and Maries. His weight and strength made a huge crack on the floor as he landed. The man's eyes were gleaming with red and his clothing. "So Lana, when are you gonna give back my powers? This time you have to give them back." The confused child moved back, trying to pull Marie away. "We got to move, NOW!" However, the girl was not listening as she started to "tsk". Her voice changed into a more angelic sound, with her eyes glowing brighter than the street lamps. The girl's body started to stretch out, with her clothes changing completely. The colorful dress turned into a white robe. Her ears becoming more elf-like and her eyes started to get wider. The girl exclaims to the terrifying man. "Leave now, Len. I don't want to hurt you."

Len starts to burst with laughter as he made funny motions with attitude. "You are a very funny mage indeed." A hand would reach out and grab Sahil by the throat. The boy was dangling for his life by the man's throat, struggling for life. "Don't fight, puny human. So give me back my powers and I will not kill him. Deal?" Lana would start to chant as she started to float in the sky. Surrounding debris was floating around from the magical power. A beam was shot which looked like it would directly hit Len, however, it would curve mid-air, hitting the young Sahil in the chest. Sahil was asleep, not realizing that Lana had to fight Len during this time.

In Sahil's mind, he would see words written everywhere, explain Naan and the gods. There were different powers that he was granted by these gods, each giving him inhuman abilities. There was also a trigger, a set of words used to activate his power. When Sahil saw it in his mind, he exactly knew what is was.

Sahil would walk up to see the city in hell, with so many damages. There was even a note tapped to Sahil's head. It only contained one word, "Sorry." and there was a smiley face next to it.

Fast forward to now where Sahil is finally getting used to his abilities. He would always find an abandoned building in order to start training. Sahil is still retaining his goal to find his father's murderer but now he has something bigger. He needs to find Marie or Lana or whoever she is and ask her for an explanation. He knows that Rise has resources that he can use to track her down, plus he had motives in order to join Rise. Now he is trying to get into the Rise to get some answers solved.

Martial Arts: Since a young age, Sahil has been practicing Karate and earned his black belt at a young age. Many people call him a prodigy in martial arts as he got used to karate easily.
Patheon of Naan: Sahil has the ability to call upon the gods of Naan for power. When he does, he transforms into this being of mystical power.
1. God Psychology: When Sahil says the magical words, he becomes a very buffed up. He even has flight because of this.
2. Superhuman Strength: It is basically superhuman strength. The max amount of weight that Upbring can carry is the weight of the building. (when I mean building I mean two story house.)
3. Skilled Swordsmen: The Upbring gains swordsmanship skill which would take a normal person decades to learn.
4. Superhuman Durability: The Upbring has amazing durability, being able to take bullets as if it's nothing.
5. Superhuman Speed: The Upbring can run up to 110 miles per hour.
6. Drain: Using the powers of the god of death, Len, Upbring is able to drain health from any living thing. He would need to put a leech seed into the skin, as it starts to grow and feed onto the life of the victim.

1. Teenager Stuff: Even though Sahil has the transformation, he still has the weak body as a teenager without the transformation.
Overconfidence: Sahil thinks he is the best because of these powers so he can get overconfident. He refuses to ask for help.
Protective: Even though Sahil may look like a heartless jerk, he actually loves his family and his good friends. Even though his mom quit working, he feels the grief she is going through and understands that. He wants to always protect them no matter what.
2. Speech Impediment: The chant that allows Sahil to transform to Upbring, which is "GODS OF NAAN! HEAR ME!", is relied on speech and speed only. Therefore, if someone stopped Sahil to even speak, like choking, he would not transform.
3. "Lightning is super Effective!!": Upbring has a big weakness to lightning and takes double the damage.
4. Weak to Advance Technology: Upbring can take a bullet but super tech weapons such as a laser or a nuclear bomb would greatly affect Upbring more than anything.
5. Closed Eye: The transformation of the Upbring came with a closed left eye. He can see from it and its injured for an unknown reason.
6. "Ice is also pretty effective....": Ice is also double effective toward Upbring.
7. Weak Spots: Even though Upbring has durability, he also has one weak spot: the armpits. If you can get a good punch or attack in the armpit area, he will definetly take the normal damage that a human would take.






When Sahil transforms into the Upbring, a light surrounds him first, with it reaching the skies. When he transforms, the area's lighting changes depending on Sahil's mood.
Sword of Naan This sword is a very normal sword that people from Naan used to use. It was very typical for a normal warrior and its nothing special.

"S-Shit its cold!" The young boy walked down the street, grabbing himself, shaking more then an electric dryer. He would start to remember his mother telling him something before you left. "You better where...a jacket.." Then the drunkard mom would fall down and went straight to sleep. Sahil took a big sigh as he continued down the street, looking to the left. There would be a beggar on the street, asking for money.

He got closer to look at the man with the money. "Well, I am poor too." Sahil grabbed the money and walked away. "Stop begging and start doing." He would hear faint sounds of crying and screaming for "Help!" But nobody cared. In this world, in this state of living, nobody cared if you cried for help or if you were dying. Not even the police officers or hospitals care about you. The one thing people care about is money.
