What's a big boy like you doing all alone out here?

Athena was, again, on a mission but unlike her other ones where the mission involved killing men, it involved - oh my god I cannot believe I am saying this - she thought, helping men. She nearly chocked on the words that formed in her head but this woman loved this man and he was meant to die tonight. She thought she'd hop in and stop him, get him to see sense. She sighed softly as she curled her toes into her shoes. She was wearing a beautiful dress, it made her look like the Goddess she was meant to be. She thought coming in guns blazing wouldn't be the good thing to do.
She spotted the man on the side walk. His car had pulled up and he was walking towards the bridge. Damn... emotionally troubled much? She sighed then began her walk over to him. He heard her before she reached him. she looked up and smiled slightly. Her skin was glowing,, she decided - seeing as though he was religious - appearing as an angel or what not would gain favour.
"It's not your time to die Markus..." she said softly. The man froze like he had seen a ghost.
"Go home.... get into bed and wake up, listen to your heart," she said softly and touched the mans heart.
"Jenny loves you, you don't need anyone else...just go home...relax... sleep..." she said softly. The man collapsed in a heap on the floor.
"Well." she blinked, letting the energy die around her. "Poor big boy all alone," she shook her head then turned when she saw a man watching her.
"And what's a big boy like you doing all alone out here?" she asked in her silky smooth voice.

Percival walked up behind Athena, "I see you are still kicking ass baby" he said with a smirk as he joined at her side. "Makes me all the sadder you won't join me, but that doesn't mean we can't go on another date though does it" he said as he grinned at her and pulled out a cigarette and lit it with the lighter she had given him a long time ago, it had still worked and Percival kept it with him at all times. "What do you say?" he asked as he took the first puff of the cigarette.

"Perry?" Athena blinked when she recognised the man opposite her. She sighed. She had left without a word the last time they had met - how did he find her? She really couldn't join him. She frowned slightly as she looked up at him.
"I can't join you, not after I saw you kill those women - I can't I'm sorry but I just can't."

"I did not kill a single innocent woman, that was Drift" he assured her. "It still doesn't mean I can't take you on a date. For me Athena?" he said with a smirk as he turned to her with the cigarette in his mouth. Percival turned to her and put his hands in his pockets. "To be honest, I hate to say it, because of my profession, but...I missed you" he said looking into her eyes.

Athena laughed softly and smiled at him tilting her head to one side.
"I know so in other words I will kill Drift when I get to his name on the list but until then I will leave your group alone," she nodded slightly. "Mmm come on then there's a nightclub down here somewhere, let me change first though," she mumbled, looking down at her crappy angel like dress. It suited her body but it just didn't fit... Athena. She walked to her car and leaned over, grabbed her ban and got out her nightclub outfit before walking to an alley way and changing into a short black dress with fishnet stockings up to her mid thigh with her knives slid in on the inside out of view. She put on her heels and walked out giving him a twirl.

Percival smiled as he watched her twirl. "Astounding" he said simply as he walked up to her, "Lead the way, and while we walk, maybe you can tell me why I haven't seen you lately" he said with a smirk as he looked down at his own outfit, he felt under-dressed, he was wearing a pair of jeans, not tight, but not loose, they had a tear in the right knee and up the length of both legs were scraps and worn patches, he bought them normal, but over time wore them down. On his torso rested a half buttoned white dress shirt, with a black blazer over it and a white t-shirt under it. Percival tossed his cigarette on the ground as he walked next to Athena.

Athena walked along beside Perry as she thought best how to answer his question. She hadn't been avoiding him exactly just prolonging the meeting. She hadn't know what to say to him when they met, she wouldn't of know, if they hadn't of just randomly met...She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, letting her shoulders sag. Why did she care about this man so much? It went against what she was.
"Because of what I am." she said bluntly.

"Because of who you are, is exactly why I care so much" he said looking at her with a smile, he moved his hands to his blazer pocket and felt around, he had a small revolver in his pocket, he must had forgotten to remove it, he took his hands out of his pocket and rested them on his head as he smiled and the gun floated out of his pocket a slid under a nearby car. "It's the reason, that I want you to join F.E.A.R.E, but more importantly, it is why I want you to be with me" he said as he smiled a bit, being nice was something Perry wasn't used to, he was so used to instilling chaos, it was nice to take a break and hang out with someone...else, not to say he didn't enjoy his members, he viewed some of them like brothers and the others as his best friends, but hanging with a girl was different.

Athena sighed as she looked away from his gaze. Stupid human emotions, stupid pathetic woman emotions! Sometimes being a woman had it's downsides like the thing beating in your chest. Athena thought about how she could get rid of those emotions when he said the next thing which made her want to get rid of the emotions more.
"Like I said, I can't join a team that murders innocent women," she said, grinding her teeth together slightly.

"Then don't join us, just be with me" he said as he took her hand and smiled at her as he kept her pace and rubbed her palm. Percival smiled and flipped his head keeping his short hair out of his eyes as he waited for Athena's response.

Athena chewed her lip as she looked at him, stopping.
"How... can I be... The Goddess of women when I... depend on a male... which is what I am against?" she asked softly.
"I want to be with you... but I'm not sure if I can..." she said softly, almost sadly, her eyes moving to the floor.

Percival chuckled softly "Athena, I don't think you will ever depend on a man" he said running his fingers softly through her hair, and then leaned in kissing her on the lips. Percival slowly pulled away. "Just try it for me, and I promise,you willnot regret it" he said resting his hand on her cheek.

Athena couldn't help but kiss the man back. she felt this weird sting in her chest. She sighed and looked at him.
"I'll try it... but if I have to kill one of your team it's not my fault," she says, mumbling about Drift being on her list.

"You will only be doing your job, and that is fine." he said as he leaned forward and kissed her again. "It will be perfect, I promise" he said as he pulled away. "So do you want to eat, or see a movie" he said with grin.

She kissed back softly. Somehow she could see this going wrong or something bad happening. Athena nodded slightly then closed her eyes before opening them and shrugging.
"Movie sounds good, we can grab a burger or something on the way back," she shrugged.
