Roan is the life of a party, a heavy drinker, and a heavy eater. The man throws a feast whenever he can. But his personality seems split, to those on the outside. To his friends, and those he thinks to be strong individuals, he is a kind soul. He is the type to tell jokes, and chase fun. But to those he doesn't know, nor does he think are strong..he is cold, and unrelentingly sarcastic. The man believes in glory, and earning what you have, and is not charitable in any way shape or form.

Since becoming a reaver, though...Roan has taken a turn. His temper has grown immensely, and his actions have began to become more and more violent by the day, whether towards a friend, or enemy.


Roan was born to a poor family on the outskirts of Asgard, forced to begin farming at a young age. In his early years, he was one of the larger children, towering over them by at least a foot. Life continued as normal until his early teens, until the Great War began between ice Giants and asgardians, Roan joined the war, and spent years battling these massive beings. The generals took a liking to him due to his above average strength, which grew exponentially through constant battle.

Near the end of the wars, Roan had met his match against a dragon. The battle lasted days before the beast grew tired, and Roan had finally defeated it, which cost him his life. A cult of dragon worshippers had found him not long after, nursing him back to health with their blood based magic. To repay, Roan had to join their ranks, and ingest the blood of the very dragon that he had slain, and go through many trials to earn the title of ‘Reaver’.
He returned home to his family, who had all presumed he was dead, and things seemed to return to normal..until the blood took full effect.

Roan had gotten into a heated argument with the village elder, causing his rage to explode like it never had before. The Reaver took up arms against the village, slaughtering them in cold blood before he had regained control of himself. He decided that exile from Asgard was the only punishment fit for someone like him.

It was many years before Roan would begin to rise up as a hero, and begin to protect the people of Midgard. This was when he challenged the war goddess, Madeline..only to nearly die. Due to the length of time since he had last ingested the blood of a dragon, he was weak and useless in his eyes.

The Asgardian went back into hiding, training himself daily to increase his strength and skills. Around this time, Roan decided it was time to return to Asgard, and reclaim his now lost powers. It was this adventure that he traveled with Miguel, the son of two war gods, and had slain a dragon once again.

Once the powers of the Reaver returned, Roan turned to his final goal: to take Asgard for himself.

Power 1: Super Strength
Roan has inhuman strength, much like an ant, he is able to lift weights multitudes heavier than the average human. Currently, his maximum lift is 5000 tons. this would cause him extreme discomfort and only be sustainable for a short period of time.

Power 2: Superhuman Durability
His bones, tendons, muscles, and skin are all strengthened by this super strength as a biological safety mechanism. Due to his travels, Roam is more than capable of surviving a blow from a .50 caliber rifle, as well as surviving decent sized explosions and harsh climates.

Power 3: Healing Factor
Small wounds will heal in a matter of minutes, while larger wounds such as broken bones, dismemberment and large lacerations will take hours, and in some cases days to heal. This allows Roan to be able to lift the extreme weight he does. The damage done to muscles, bones and all connective tissue heals at the pace it is broken down.

Power 4: Roan has been struck by enough magic on his adventures, and has grown resilient to it, able to walk away from most spells with very minor wounds, and survive massive spells, even if by the skin of his teeth.

Power 5: Berserk: As Roan grows angrier due to pain, or the actions of his adversary, he will enter a state of rage. During this time, Roan is capable of lifting 3 times as much as normal, heal wounds in an extremely shortened amount of time, and shrug off blows that would normally be lethal for him.

Power 6: Reaver Magic: Roan has ingested the blood of a dragon, and undergone rituals in order to receive the ability to use the magic of a group of warriors called Reavers.

  Pale Horse: The more death, blood and agony that surrounds Roan, the more powerful he becomes, able to triple his strength if he is amongst a bloody battle.

  Frenzy of Pain: Roan’s strength increases the closer he is to death, which dulls the pain and gives him the energy to fight back.

Weakness 1:  Extreme metabolism
The extreme strength, healing and durability comes at a price. His body still needs the fuel to pump out that much energy. Upwards of 20,000 calories a day, with proper macro-nutrients and vitamins are needed to maintain this level of strength.

Weakness 2: Increased density
While his muscles may not be massive, they are much denser than the average humans. This causes him to be extremely heavy for his size and well, not very buoyant. This makes him sluggish, for the amount of strength that he has in his legs, limiting him to the sprint speed of an average human, and a jumping height not much better. When falling from high places, he will create a crater,  and he can't ride in an elevator(how sad).

Weakness 3: Bull in a china shop
Yes, he knows he's strong, but when it comes to things that need a finer touch?  He is not your man. Hand him a delicate glass sculpture? Chances are he'll shatter it. Need a hug? Better hope he doesn't hug back. This causes him to stay away from technology(sans a nokia cell phone).

Weakness 4:  Compassion for the innocent
Seeing people get harmed who don't deserve it pains him. Added to the fact he can't interact with the average person without harming them causes him great struggle. He COULD pull that person out of danger, but there is a large posibility he may break their arm, he COULD console someone with a hug, but he might break their spine.

Weakness 5:
While berserking though, Roan doesn't think as straight as he normally would. His tactic during this time is to rush into battle, and cause as much damage as he possibly can, not caring about the damage he may sustain. In addition to this, Roan can only berserk for up to 3 posts currently.

Weakness 6: Due to his magical resistance, Roan cannot be healed by magical means.

Weakness 7: Roan is entirely fearless, which may be bravery or absolute stupidity. Due to this, he gets in over is head way too often.

Weakness 8: Uranium, while dangerous to most, won't kill Roan, but it strips him of his powers entirely.

Weakness 9: Due to his death based powers, healing magic now causes Roan excruciating pain.

Weakness 10: Roan has gained a terrible temper after becoming a Reaver, causing him to snap with no warning at all.

Weakness 11: Because Roan’s powers dull the pain the closer he gets to death, he tends to not have a clue of how far gone he is, causing him to literally battle until he drops.

Roan tries not to physically interact with anyone, in fear of harming them. He also ages at a third of the rate of normal humans.

Due to the dragon blood within him, Roan operates at a higher temperature than most, causing him to steam in cooler climates.

After years of ingesting Dragon’s blood, Roan has began to take on features of the very same creature. His canines have grown sharper, patches of his skin have a scale like quality, and horns are beginning to grow from his skull.
