Personality: A force of righteousness and holiness, Mary Kelly sees herself as the only pure force in a world overflowing with sin and monstrosities. She can keep a civil face but once the bullets start flying, her calm unravels and reveals her bloodthirstiness, especially against the wicked, the metahuman and other 'infidels'.

History: Like many of the battle sisters of her order, Mary Kelly's life started in the orphanage. Her parents were these couple of amoral metahumans who wanted to breed a powerful child but instead got a totally human redhead child. Rather than kill the child, they dumped her into an Irish Catholic convent.

Fast forward years later, and the devout but troubled child was chosen to become a weapon of the church. She alone survived the procedure of science and alchemy, citing her faith and convictions seeing her through. Her training late in life eventually did reveal her innate ability: an uncanny marksmanship that was now augmented by her ability to regenerate.

Today Kelly wages a one woman war against evil and degeneracy, guided by her "superiors" who are supposedly interpreting divine will. She sees corruption everywhere... except within.

The Powers and Weaknesses

Powers

Regenerator: with the aid of science and alchemy, Mary was infused with the DNA of a long-dead angelic being, transforming her partially into a artificial Nephilim. This grants her the ability to regenerate. Time to recover scales with severity of injury; she can keep fighting despite being riddled with bullet holes, but blown off limbs need time to mend.

Superb Marksmanship: Mary possesses uncanny skill and accuracy with nearly all manner of firearms and projectile weapons. Does not cover the use of improvised weapons that lack proper mass or aerodynamics.

Weakness(es)

Kill it with Elements: Fire attacks retard Kelly's regeneration process, and getting on ice will immobilize her.

Religious: Should quote something appropriately biblical in her dialogue.

Puritan: Chews out people for cursing, drinking, smoking, obscenity, vulgarity and a hundred other little things, obsessively teaching people how to "live in the righteous way."

Just plain nuts: She's a nun with a gun and she ain't afraid to use it on evildoers and inhuman freaks.

Battle Nun Training: Underwent hellish training under IRA commandos, having skills comparable to the British SAS but far more ruthless. Also underwent a kind of "religious" training.

Items/Minions

Silver Bullets: Technically not just silver, but especially constructed alloy rounds capable of dealing with a variety of metahuman and superatural threats. Utilizes ultra-dense tungsten iridium tipped explosive rounds, which blossom inside the target. The bullets are used only by the Taurus, and carries usually limited shots per thread- around 30.
