Military evaluation of the villain “Inquisitor"
”You people make me sick. You flaunt your abilities around like you’re above the rest of us. It’s about time that someone takes you out. All of you.”
Real Name: Pierce Walker
Villain Name: Gen-X Head Inquisitor Walker
Title: The Meta-Slayer
Age: 38
Gender: Male
Race: Human, Caucasian
Hair: Shaved, previously red
Eyes: Bright hazel
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 262lbs
Blood type: A+
A large man, Pierce Walker is an intimidating figure in every sense of the word. Beneath his armor are hazel eyes that seem to burn with a rage at the world that can’t be quenched by anything less than the blood of innocents. The man has multiple scars from fights and scraps he has gotten into. Muscled from years of hard work, and training.
His costume consists of several pieces. First, is the bottom layer. A black undershirt and legwear of an unknown material that is both soft, yet protective. Red and black chestplate, kneepads, and shoulder pads. The armor has vulnerable parts, however it is the black that is vulnerable while the red is the metal.
The helmet is black with a black screen that has glowing white eyes, covered by a red hood made of the same material as the underclothes. His feet are armored by metal shoes, and his hands are covered in normal red and black clothes.
Walker is an angry man. A staunch human supremacist ready and willing to put his boot down on the neck of even the weakest “gene-freak”. The only empathy he had in him was snuffed out by Dikaios in London, and replaced it with a hatred for empowered people of all types but especially those who proclaim themselves heroes. Inquisitor is a dangerous threat to society and while he will fight alongside others, he is unlikely to maintain long term partnerships outside those of his boss Argo Sinclair who he almost seems to deify in his admiration.
If Walker has one soft spot, it’s children. He refuses to harm children of 16 or under unless they pose a genuine threat to his or others well being. As a soldier, he will follow orders for the most part but shoots to kill if pointed at a target. Walker has been known to execute targets that have openly surrendered but has had his hide covered by Gen-X and Sinclairs lawyers. Walker, despite professing human rights and human supremacy as his main motivations has no issue in taking out human targets that do not agree with his actions or mission and will gladly sacrifice people in the name of taking down a target. Gen-X corporate lawyers will call it a necessary evil and pay the news media to keep quiet on the situation.
Danger Level: High
From a young age, it seemed to Pierce that he world was out to get him. The children he went to school with were cruel, his parents were killed in a home invasion, the orphanage cruel and indifferent to his needs. He almost felt that he had no choice but to enlist in the army. Here, he excelled. He turned his rage against the world against the enemies of the US and before long; he had caught the eye of a green beret squad leader. Pierce was good at taking orders, and found purpose in slaughter. He was honorably discharged after taking the life of an unarmed civilian. His life seemed like it was over. He was forced to settle down, get an engineering job at some tech startup called Gen-X. He thought his life was over. Until he met a girl. They fell for each other and a whirlwind romance began.
When he first heard the news that she was pregnant, he couldn’t have been more thrilled. But she informed him that she no longer wanted anything to do with him. It came so suddenly and so… harshly that he didn’t know how to process it. For over 2 years, he drowned himself in drinks and forced himself to work. When she showed up at his door with a toddler in hand, giving him full custody, he almost laid her out. She had the nerve to show up after 2 years and… he looked at his daughter. She was beautiful. She got her dads red hair but otherwise was the spitting image of her mom. She was perfect. “What’s her name?” He asked, never looking at his ex. “Ramona.” He took her by the hand, and from that day forward his life was all for her.
He took the purpose he found in the army and turned it into parental devotion. His daughter was treated with every care and given every luxury he could afford. She never worried about bullies, if anyone was cruel to her she’d just tell her dad and he’d be there the next day.
At age 14, she was given the chance to go to Europe. All she had to do was sell some crap for her school. He wasn’t pleased, but for Ramona, he’d put aside his worries and helped her. He sold chocolates, cookies, mugs and other tchotchkes at work. And when no one wanted anymore, he bought the rest himself, he wanted to give her a once in a lifetime opportunity. And he succeeded. She got to go to Europe and their first stop was London.
The news played in the break room that day. It was the only thing that the TV had on. Someone was attacking London. A metahuman. There was a wave of black destruction and then… a holy light that wiped the city clean. He frantically called his daughter, her school, the field trip supervisor, anyone. But no one had heard from the trip. It seemed like all hope was gone but… the dragon resurrected everyone, right? So he waited. He called the school. He called the emergency hotline. He called his daughters cellphone. Still no one. Weeks later, all those that weren’t brought back were declared dead. Ramona Walker among them.
The world was cruel to Pierce Walker. But it was even more cruel to his daughter. He felt the rage reignite. This time not just at world at large, no this time it was focused. Metahumans did this. And he needed blood. The CEO and founder of his company he had worked at came to him. He said that he had an epiphany. That they needed a way to win against this threat or else they were all surely going to die.
He revealed to Walker the first Inquisitor power armor and made him his head inquisitor. Argo Sinclair was going to save his country. And he needed to rebuild it on the bones of its enemies. And all that Walker asked? “When do I start?”
Peak Human Conditioning - Walker doesn’t have powers, but he does have the PMHD. And it has turned his already impressive physique into a weapon all its own. Pierce is at the peak of human fitness, and could likely compete as an Olympic athlete. On top of this, Walker was to one point a Green Beret and has been highly trained in close, ranged and unarmed combat.
The GDR - The GDR has a notable weakness in that it can only weaken one opponent at a time.
The PMHD: The PMHD is not very protected against electromagnetic pulses, which means that if he is hit by one of his own design or otherwise affected by an EMP, the armor turns into a liability of 500+ pounds of metal strapped to his head, torso, and limbs.
Low-Light sensors obviously temporarily blind him if he is struck with bright light flashes.
The PMHD Helmet: The PMHD helmet amplifies sound, making sonic attacks more effective against him. The scanner has to be able to read the opponent with minimal movement, and it has to be uncovered.
The Arsenal: While the device allows him to reach into his base of operations, it only allows him to grab one item at a time.
In addition, the Arsenal isn’t a very hefty device and can be smashed by little more than the weight of a human foot coming down on it.
Personal Anti-Metahuman Hunting Gear - Inquisitor, being a normal human, requires a setup of technology and armor to complete his mission. This includes an arsenal of mundane weapons from small munition handguns, to rocket and grenade launchers. Below is a listing of the… Less mundane selection.
The GDR - The Gene-Disrupting Rifle is a powerful tool created by Gen-X and one of their currently best inventions. The gun uses information gained from the sensor inside of the PMHD Helmet to personalize an attack against a metahuman, finding one of the weaknesses in their genetic code and adopting a frequency to exploit it. [Permission Based when used against a player character]
Gen-X Brand Personal Metahuman Defense Suit - The PMHD as it’s called is a suit of power armor with several capabilities. The suit enhances and stimulates both natural muscle growth and uses advanced power technology created by studying heroes like Atlas to simulate overwhelming strength, speed, and durability. The PMHD currently can lift up to 50 tons and could hold up well against a head on collision with a speeding freight train. The suit comes with life support systems, audio transmitters, and a pair of jet boots that allow it fly up to 175 MPH. The suit is constantly being examined for weaknesses and structural problems and should too much damage is taken it will immediately attempt to return to base for repairs.
The PMHD Helmet - This helmet has a built in sensor that can locate and identify the presence of an active meta-gene.The helmet also has a tracker that sends information back to Gen-X about the current whereabouts and condition of the armor and records every fight it enters to better adapt in future. [Permission based when used against player characters]
The Arsenal - A device that links to the Gen-X labs in New Jersey, allowing him to grab any of the mundane weapons that he has stored there or items that he notably owns. (Items listed.)
London was a tragedy of truly epic proportions. When Ramona Walker went on a school field trip funded through chocolate sales and other fundraising opportunities, her father gave his blessing. Though his anxiety at allowing his daughter to go overseas was intense, he allowed it. A once in a lifetime chance shouldn’t be squandered, he thought. But ultimately, he should’ve listened to his gut. Ramona Walker was one of the several million killed in London, and not one of the lucky ones raised by the dragon Deimos. She stayed dead and as Pierce awaited word, her body was never discovered. That’s when Argo Sinclair, CEO of Gen-X technologies found Walker drowning his sorrows in booze, nursing an anger that could only be quenched in blood.
Walker accepted his offer to head up his new Inquisitor division and wear the prototype suit. Now he hunts metahumans that haven’t signed the protocols set up in the US, and if need be, he puts them down.
