Quote of the Month

While I was browsing other sites and talking trash in their chatboxes I saw that some of them had 'Of the Month' Sections, such as Character of the Month, Thread of the Month, Couple of the Month. This was kinda common but only one of them I went on had a 'Quote of the Month' section, and basically it consisted of

"*The Quote*"
- Who said it
- Link to the thread.

It was an in character quote and appeared in the corner of the home page in a similar place to where our staff members are displayed and tbh it seemed really cute.

I think it would be neat to have here.
You could send any quotes you think are worthy of being quote of the month and then I can share them with the staff and we pick one to be quote of the month on the first of every month.

What do you guys think?

How does this benefit me?

I can be open to this. It'd be nice to have the quotes from threads collected in one big thread, though, kinda like how we do chatbox quotes - but rather thread quotes.

And It'd be nice to have 2 quotes featured a month. So basically, anyone could take their quote and tag it into a singular thread.

Later the staff will evaluate the quotes and see about which ones really take teh cake, or we can even have polls at the end of the month.

So maybe have 1 thread per month where quotes from threads are collected, and near the end, we do a poll with all current quotes, and then the top two voted ones get to go through. [:
