The Atom and the Star of David
Jerusalem
It was that time of year when Shauna flew to Israel for a very specific reason. It was also in Israel that the Catholic raised Shauna Finkelstein Masters had to share her slightly diluted Jewish heritage, as well as her purpose to the Israel State Metahuman Affairs. A small nation in the middle east like Israel was all about security, survival and pragmatism, and its metahuman populace were national treasures and heroes, and nothing else. Metahumans who did not declare themselves would face, very harsh consequences if found out.
The check-in to the hotel was brief and the hotel pre-chosen for its security and location, and transportation was provided and strictly controlled. Shauna got "into character", and walked out the exit as Sun Queen, her suit matching the overwhelming tan color of the desert. Once she got out of the hotel she was quickly met by an ISMA agent in tactical gear. His rank and name tag read Captain Sand. Very informative.
"Greetings, Sun Queen. I will be your tag along to for your visit. Tell me anything you need and we'll have it brought along, since the shrine will not have amenities." He said in that Yiddish english accent. Clear but stood out.
"Yeah. Some flowers would be nice. Where's Captain Stone?" Shauna asked, remembering the last visit had a young lady soldier managing Shauna's trip. She was a bit rougher around the edges.
"She is ISMA Commander now." Sand replied, knowing who she was referring to. Shauna nodded and hopped into the humvee with her heavily armed and metahuman escorts.
Underground Mausoleum, Classified Location
It was another piece of credit to their savvyness or paranoia that the ISMA blindfolded all their guests with lead lined blind folds for the forty five minute trip. Shauna didn't complain at all, and appreciated the solemnity. The blindfolds only came off when they had arrived at some place, walked a few minutes, then walked into a slightly cooler indoor space. Once the blast doors were shut and they were in the elevator, Shauna was relieved of her blind fold.
The elevator descended a brief but unspecified unspecified depth. Once there, they reached the underground shrine, cold metal interiors giving way to traditional temple architecture made of sand and stone much like the rest of the desert.
From this point on, the duty of guarding the area fell not on ISMA but on slightly larger than human automatons- automatons for the rather dated design of the robots guarding the temple. they were constructs made via the old ways, when science was young and magic was still in its prime. Their faces were plain, featureless but smooth stone. Golems they were usually referred to as, silent guardians who kept eternal vigil on their charge- the remains of heroes past. While ISMA were exceptionally stringent on who could come, the Golems themselves allowed any to come and go, provided they did not disturb the place.
A large square lobby welcomed guests, sparsely decorated save for Jewish symbols and relics, as well as important reminders to visiting guests. A large, arched hallway led to the eight to ten or so memorials of Jewish superheroes laid to rest here. When Shauna entered, a golem approached her and offered her a soft robe with a star of david brooch, to cover her high tech, form fitting costume.
"Oh... right, thanks." Shauna said to the silent guardians. She forgot how well programmed they were in culture, and put the robe on.
There were hardly more than a dozen people every allowed to visit at any time, but Shauna recognized and reacted very strongly to the sight of two large men in the lobby in formal suits- as their Luchador outfits were not funeral appropriate. They were actually less recognizable outside their Luchador masks. They also recognized Shauna, no matter her costume.
"What. are you. TWO. doing here." She went up to them and asked in hushed but controlled tones.
"Young lady. I am not here for squabbles. We all made our peace years ago, didn't we? I am paying respects to my father in law. Nothing more. I am happy to see you, by the way." Hamilcar Masters said in a polite and formal tone to his wayward daughter. His hair was beginning to gray, but his impressive physique saw no decline in its quality despite nearly seventy years of life. Shauna felt nothing but frustration, and this was the best reaction she'd had, considering she'd moved on from their... differences long ago.
"Hey Shauna." The younger man who looked like the man also addressed Shauna. It was Hannibal, her older brother. Hannibal had always been daddy's boy, though he was kinder by a wide margin.
"...Hey." Okay, her brother she was cool with. "Fine. But I'm still the only Finkelstein here." She took a seat to catch her breath from the desert trip. Hamilcar Masters, the Luchador himself, was a man who projected himself as a man of refined tastes, or perhaps he was, as he read the ancient Hebrew texts on his children's behalf, "Especially the one with actual Jewish blood who didn't learn Hebrew."
The shrines were small, modest plots of underground land where the fallen heroes would lie, connected by and branching from the great arched hallway.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Travis looked into the mirror of his suite, dark rings beginning to form around his eyes, bruised in color revealing a lack of sleep. Red veins were apparent upon white sclera, and a frown upon his lips, pulling a normally cheerful countenance downwards. ”You ready?” Omega would question, stepping out from the shadows of the room, dressed in a rather impressive looking gray suit.
”I've been ready for years.” The tone was stale, almost emotionless as he adjusted his tie and turned towards him. ”Another part within our plan has finished. Everything will fall into place soon.” This elicited a smile from Omega, though it was wiped away by a kiss, Travis pressing him against the wall with a dull thud. Omega pushed Alpha back weakly, expression stuck between annoyance and amusement.
”For someone attending a funeral, you sure seem full of life.” Despite the poor condition of Travis, Omega could see a gleam within his eyes.
”Its the beginning, of the perfect world we envisioned so long ago. I can't help but feel happy.” Sitting upon the nightstand was a clear glass vial, filled with a thick green liquid, Alpha picking it up and downing the contents with a wince. It was something that caused the dull throb within his brain to fade away, to allow him to function at full capacity without any kind of inhibition. ”Now, we have a funeral to attend. Don't forget to look your saddest.” Applying something around his eyes, the black circles would begin to be hidden behind foundation, well applied at that.
The two would leave their location, and be lead through the long journey like anyone else, blindfolded, though Omega was not someone that could simply be blinded like that. It was once the blast doors were shut that they would be allowed their sight, Travis making sure to look as solemn as ever, to see his fathers grave in all its splendor. A few others were there, including a few recognizable visiting the dead that were close to them. Upon entering, one of the golems would approach and offer a robe, Travis considering it with a small smile, and taking it. Donning the robe, along with his public twin, he would take sight of the gravestone of Ryan Masters. The one who had created him, and while he respected them man, he was too much of a hazard to allow to live. His death had been quick, and painless enough that no one could argue how humane it was, and no one knew his hand within it.
His eyes would fall upon what looked like a semi-familiar face, Shauna Masters. Her relation to him was an aunt, but then again he had to be sure that his family knew him for his public persona. ”Shauna, its been a while.” He would say, loud enough for her to hear, but not loud enough to disturb any of the ones paying their respects.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Walking into the room with the Israeli Defence Minister would have been a daunting task to most outsiders, but Khellendros was a well known inventor and weapons developer in the military world, his skills were in high demand anywhere that conflict was a possibility and Israel was no exception. "How's the family, doing well I hope?" shaking the defence minister's hand, he had been in this office more than enough times, he could tell when anything changed in it. "I see you've added some new portraits to your office, is that another new member to your family? You need to slow down!" both of them start laughing. "They're fine, the little ones are doing well in school and the wife... well she's the wife and we'll leave it at that for now. They look forward to your next visit if you ever have the time." "Glad to hear it. So, what did you call me in here for?" "Always straight to the business with you, sit down, have a cup of tea with me."
Half an Hour Later
"So, the terms are settled, I'll start next week and you should have your new toys by the following month, agreed?" getting up from the chairs, they shake hands once again "Always a pleasure doing business with you Cromwell, much easier than some of our own scientists." "I aim to please. I have seen most of the sights this city has had to offer, but I was wondering about one that I have heard of recently. Was wondering if you could clarify the veracity of the rumours." The Defence minister quirks an eyebrow at this "To what rumour are you referring?" Khellendros can only smile at this "That there is a grave, a mausoleum, in which are interred all of your countries beloved super-beings, I was wondering if I would be allowed to view this place and maybe pay my respects to those who have gone before me?" "You've never been the religious type, what has sparked this?" "You're absolutely right, but one does not need to be religious to pay respects to those who deserve it. Consider it an academic curiosity if you must, but I intend it as a respectful gesture only." "Very well then, but you'll have to submit to our rules on this, we keep this sacred place a secret for a reason." "Whatever you must do, I take no issue."
Being led to a car in the street, Khellendros quickly fired a message to Malys, who was waiting on the outskirts of the city, "I need you to remain on standby, I'll call for you if I need anything ok?" "Where are you going?" "Paying a visit to a holy site. Hopefully while I visit I learn something new, always better when there's a lesson to be had." "Sir, we need you to put this on." Looking dubiously at the blindfold, Khell takes it and puts it on, then gets into the vehicle.
One Car Ride Later
He was impressed, the place was enormous. How do you hide something this large in a barren wasteland? Upon entering, he noted the golems and the few people that were here, his escort pipes up, "Must you wear the armour?" "This is actually more ceremonial than any suit and tie I could wear, it also makes it known that I am much like them. I am leaving the helmet off though because it would be disrespectful otherwise." To emphasize his point on the matter, he puts the helmet down at his side and it magnetizes to his side so that he doesn't have to continue holding it. Walking further in, he takes note of the people here but eventually focuses in on a familiar face, Shauna? walking over silently as he can given his size and decidedly metallic attire, he walks up to Dr. Masters and begins to greet her quietly, "Shauna? It's been a while, almost didn't recognize you in that robe." He hoped his lack of a helmet would allow Shauna to recognize him well enough, even though the last time they'd met he had been wearing street clothes in the dead of winter.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
"Oh hey Travis. Who are you here for?" Shauna asked, remembering her little nephew only by name and face, and medical condition. But if she'd only mention it if he'd talk first.
The patriarch of the Masters name looked at Travis and how he shared their looks. He kept the possibility of having more of his illegitimate sires being here to himself.
"Oh hey, it's good to see you again. The robe's not mine, all the guests are made it wear it. Who are you here for? Power armor, Huh? so you weren't just some nobody on the street." Shauna greeted Khell as well, remembering the fellow who was now here in ceremonial armor.
The elevator opened and the Golems received the plain wooden coffin of another hero. The guests present made way as another one was on its way to be laid to rest. There was no sign of pictures of signs or anything, save for a simple plaque the Golems placed at the entryway of the new grave site.
"Another one. Well..." Shauna bowed to the shrine of the newly to be interred, and moved on. She looked at the plaque. "Jew... Jitsu? Really?" Shauna scoffed at the name. Well, if they were for the Jewish state, they weren't going to be choosy.
She walked towards the end of the memorial hall.
While each small plot of underground soil was watched over by one of the Golems, the shrine found at the end was guarded by a whopping two, behind double doors. It was only appropriate, as the one behind it was an important figure in the superheroing and Jewish communities. On the door was a generic symbol of the atom, superimposed upon a golden Star of David.
Shauna approached and the guardians made way, letting her in, as did anyone else visiting The Atom. The chamber was slightly larger than normal, filled with pictures, newspaper clippings and small, non essential pieces of WW2 memorabilia. One particular photo had a shot of the young Dr. Earvin during the time, a scrawny, bespectacled teenager surrounded by taller and more proportioned American costumed heroes- classic names like Lady Liberty, Captain Victory, Red White and Blue Baron, Fleet O' Foot, and The Grim. Of course, the official records only kept the White Male heroes. At the center was a simple gravestone in the ground with the Star of David upon it.
From the items in the room one could gather that Dr. Earvin was not quite the first, but one of the prominent technologists of his time- overshadowed by more western and white figures in his time, but not overshadowed among his own kind.
Another memorial plaque would explain how the golems now guarding this tomb were supposed to be part of the war effort, but since Dr. Earvin never actually succeeded in making a true automaton before the War, he had to pilot his prototype - The Atom- The lumbering giant marketed as a golem, all the while it was in Germany. He saw action first hand, and his presence proved invaluable in saving lives. And, because of what he saw there, Dr. Earvin swore off ever making a machine capable of taking life on its own.
Shauna laid flowers at the grave ad simply stood there to pay her respects. Okay, perhaps this wasn't too bad, this was neutral ground that allowed her to stand next to the two closest men in her life without going to squabbles. At least, until...
"I suppose I am not surprised Everyone her knows Shauna. A small world of association it is, the world of metahumans." Shauna's dad remarked to break the silence.
"Er... Shauna tends to meet a lot of people. She sent post cards from Europe." Hannibal said, not really wanting their father to talk.
"Shauna tends to put a lot of people in cemeteries, If I heard right. Wonder if any of them do know. Do they, little Laser Lass?" Dad really didn't seem like he had much good to say. They may have moved on since their heroing days, but he had quite a bit to say about after that.
"Are you really going to start that here?" Shauna remarked rather harshly but without raising her voice.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
His aunt had recognized him, which was somewhat of a surprise, but not something that he would let linger on his face for too long. ”I'm here for my father actually, unfortunately he had suffered an accident not too long ago.” His fingers played along the hem of the robe he was wearing, mentally considering why he was wearing something like this but keeping any sign of his confusion hidden beyond any form of sight. ”I'm here to pay my respects, to him as well as a few others.” Chris would stand a few steps behind him, keeping his hands buried in his pockets, and absently staring off into the distance. However, the appearance of an unknown armored man would draw his attention, a single brow raising in curiosity.
Still, it seemed that he knew her more than him, so he would allow them their meeting while he would continue to look over towards his father grave. The catalyst towards the improvement towards humanity, he would have to be given a greater monument once Travis had secured his rightful place. Death was something that had to happen, an inevitable part of life but it was not something he enjoyed dealing out. Sadly he had no flowers to give, only a small pendant that he produced from his pocket, a silver locket that had proven a momento of the woman known as his mother. She had died a year earlier, of a sudden aneurysm they had said, and that was what all would think while Alpha remembered how he had done it. Luckily, no one would look into such a thing, and if they did, they would find nothing.
His mind turning from matricide, he would approach the room, the memorial to a hero known as The Atom. The guardians would step aside, and let him through, room filled with items that suggested that the old hero was rather skilled with technology. Travis looked down at the grave, hands interlocked behind his back, fraternal twin standing only a few feet behind him, a more solemn and respectful expression playing across his face.
Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Laughing a little at the way Shauna recognized him, "No certainly not a nobody, but that's in relation to the circles I travel. I'm in the country on business, the government needs some new toys and I'm friends with the defence minister. I had heard rumours of this place and so I decided it was the only sight left that this country has to offer that I have not seen yet. I have come here to learn from those who came before us and to pay my respects to those who have left their marks upon the world, no matter how small a portion it is."
Walking along with Shauna, curiosity piqued, Khellendros was wondering who she was here to visit until they came to the tomb in question. Atom? You're related to a technological genius such as this? My respect for you has gone up Shauna, honourable lineage is certainly something to be proud of, especially if you take steps to carry it on. Looking around to the relics and technology on display, he couldn't help but to be in awe of technology that was long before it's time, not to mention to be in the presence of someone who was on the frontlines of a conflict that had changed the world and their progeny. His fascination and wonderment was broken when the man who Khell eventually surmised was Shauna's father started to, he could almost call it, accuse her of foul deeds regardless of the setting and inappropriate timing. This was something he would not tolerate or stand for, it was beyond disrespectful of the dead, stepping up behind Shauna and as calmly and quietly as he can regardless of his louder nature, "This is nether the time nor the place for such an argument, I am sure we all have our dark marks on our history. I am a mercenary and developer of weapons by trade and choice, I myself have done terrible things in my life and I am sure some of those interred here could say the same of themselves. You dishonour and disrespect these halls with your words. And I doubt Shauna's deeds are any worse than my own." Gesturing to the tomb before them, "Do you think he would want his descendants to squabble before him, let alone with each other when they are here to pay homage to those who have passed on? This is a place of rememberance and the peace they had brought, not a battleground."

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Hamilcar Masters, The Luchador, looked at Khell as he "You stay out of this, arms dealer. This is family business, and I don't think you know who I am. I'll not have a cape killer in my family. I've defended South America for twenty years, and The other one for another twenty. I'm..." Luchador stopped talking when his son placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Dad please. Your temper." Hannibal said, being a much more level headed man than his father. Then again, he was exposed to much less than the patriarch.
"Right... right." Hamilcar calmed down considerably when two of the Golems came in, carrying staves, their featureless faces staring at Luchador. He turned back to the marker and fixed his suit.
"You boys are unbelievable." Shauna walked out of the Atom's shrine. She hadn't been her five minutes and her father was giving her beef. She needed some air, so started heading to the lobby... but once she looked up, trouble had reared its ugly head. The Guardians were sprawled on the floor, black Iron Stars sticking out of them. A figure in white ninja robes was quickly sprinting down the hallway, and Shauna's first thought was how was a dead guy up and about...
A laser blade emerged from the top of her hand, but even Shauna moved slow compared to him. In the next moment, the staff that struck her on the head, sending Shauna sprawling into unconsciousness on the ground.
Jew Jitsu, Israel's most recent fallen hero, was up and about, attacking everyone and everything, moving with agility and limberness not befitting a burn victim. The Guardians moved to defend the visitors, but those Iron Stars seemed to make short work of the golems, playing awful tricks upon their antiquated circuitry. Moving fast, Hannibal and Hamilcar took pieces of relics from their displays- with respect of course- and defended themselves.
"What is this?! This a sacred place! How is the undead here?!" Hamilcar said, blocking some Iron Stars going their way. The dark weapons slowly corrupted and corroded the metal plates, rendering them brittle and weak.
Neither Travis nor Khellendros wouldn't be spared either. Iron Stars were tossed their way, while Jew Jitsu started swinging that staff he took from the Guardians at anyone who disagreed with him. The staff crackled with energy and cracked stone on impact. Jew Jitsu himself looked at everyone with cold, dead eyes, and an unholy growl escaped from behind his mask. "HHHGNRRRGH!"

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Travis had been close enough for the armored mercenaries words to reach him, rebuking the masked luchador, though for what he could not hope to know. Well, he could probably gain some knowledge from what the knight was saying, but that held no interest to the male, as he had more important things to worry about, more important woes than simple family squabbles. Omega however, seemed to take more of an interest within the whole thing, and so he would keep his attention upon it when Alpha had turned his mind back to the memorial of the once famous hero known as The Atom. What had drawn his attention was the rise of something from one of the grave, the one marked Jew Jistu to be exact, garbed in white and darting towards them of all people for some reason. Within less than a second, Shauna had been knocked out, and he as well as Omega were in danger, the whole world slowing down to a crawl.
His mind was running at full force, considering the weapon and the damage that it had caused upon the items that his family had used, seemingly causing them to become brittle and crumble. He had to do something, but damn he had to keep an image up, while his mind was known to be superhuman, that was about the only thing the public knew about. Considering the speed by which the star was moving in his slowed down view, he could not hope to stop the weapon without his power, though he could minimize damage that would be dealt. Travis shifted his body ever so slightly, trying his best to atleast not get struck head on, the weapon gliding past his body and cutting the cloak itself, though he could feel it, the sting of the weapon slicing flesh. It was a pinprick almost, but something told him damage would be done.
It was now that he regretted not bringing someone like Zeta or Epsilon, more well known metahumans but then again he had to deal with the situation handed to him. Perhaps he could use that power of his in subtle, almost unnoticeable ways, deal with the problem at hand and then move on from there. With a thought, he would cause the ground beneath its feet, to turn,a localized motion, enough to make it seem like it had tripped, and hopefully allowing the others to do their part.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Well... that escalated quickly, didn't it? Deja Vu, have I thought that before somewhere? Oh well. Khell was a surprised to say the least when the corpse suddenly started moving. With startling speed for a dead man, he brought the staff down on Shauna's head, knocking her out, "Shauna! The hell is going on here? Dead people are suppose to stay that way, it's friggin science!" Tucking and rolling out of the way of the oncoming thrown star, Khell landed near one of the fallen guardians and noted the staff next to it. Picking it up and hefting it, he gave it an experimental twirl before placing his helmet on his head. Not as good as having Wrath with me... But it will do. "Stormbringer initialized, awaiting input commands." "Alex, prepare the overdrive and see if you can get a beacon running to draw Malys here, we may need the backup." Taking up a defensive stance, Khellendros awaited the newly arisen Jew-Jitsu to make a move.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Thankfully Shauna didn't stay under for long, but her head throbbed from the staff strike. She slowly made her way back to her feet, bracing herself against the wall. The room was all wobbly as she watched Jew Jitsu engage Khellendros, using his wicked martial skills to deliver a savage flurry of attacks against him.
"I won't have this disrespect!" Shauna's father, aging man as he was, picked up a guardian staff and joined the fray. Even against two heroes, Jew Jitsu's skill proved uncanny, fending them off as he tossed Iron Stars to the ceiling. The undead ninja delivered a knee strike that knocked the wind out of the Luchador.
"...Death is here..." He groaned through his decayed vocal cords, as dark symbols materialized on the ceiling.
MEANWHILE
Top side, Malys would be witness to something... very unusual. In the middle of a hot desert, an expanding ring of energy materialized near the bunker entrance. The ISMA agents present investigate, but they are overwhelmed by the presence of quick moving metahumans and blade armed quadruped robots. The three or four or so agents were overwhelmed by the sheer number.
Then the portal expanded further and further, until a giant of a figure stepped out. It was a sight to behold, a giant - almost eight storeys tall- clad in a diving suit scaled to his size, the Soviet hammer and sickle emblazoned on his chest. In his hands he carried a chain, and tied to the end of that chain was a giant skull. That skull was large enough to only possibly belong to the figure carrying it... but what was under his diving helmet then?
The Giant swung the skull overhead a few times, then sent it crashing down into the sand, blowing away the camouflage on the memorial in one swing. The concrete bunker was now exposed, and the Giant was now winding up for another blow. The sheer kinetic force of that skull crashing into a manmade structure was daunting to imagine.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
The cut like most cuts stung, bleeding a little but not enough to make Alpha worry, though he did make sure that the annoyance was plain enough on his face. Travis afterall was a dynamic being, full of emotion and all of that fun stuff people seemed to love so much. The blood would begin to soak both his shirt, and show through on the robe he was wearing, nothing major. ”Damn, that hurt.” he growled, placing a hand against his chest, and falling back behind one of the larger graves to watch from what he considered safety. Everyone else seemed to be having a problem with this strange undead, groaning out that death was here, likely suggesting it would kill them all. A symbol materialized upon the ceiling, the source of it unknown ad its origin about the same.
”I really need a weapon." Travis muttered, now wishing he had some kind of weapon. That was when he took notice of it, one of the weapons that the golems had been wielding, surveying the area before making a grab for one and retreating to his hiding spot, looking over it with a critical eye as everything seemed to slow down for him, analyzing the system. It was a close ranged weapon within design, simple enough but not much to him if he wanted to survive this encounter anyway. Sure his reaction time was slightly above the average humans, he was nothing when compared to this master of the martial arts. Pressing his back against the monument dedicated to his father, he would rapidly began to take apart the weapon, hoping that he could make it into something more useful.
While they were rigged within design, they could be changed around, and with a mind knowledgeable of such things, he could engineer it into something more useful. Time seemed to drag on within his enhanced perception, though honestly it had only been around less than a minute, acting within this isolated section with no eyes upon him, mixing telekinesis and simple hand work to take this thing apart. It took less than two minutes for he process to happen, and in his hand was a somewhat clunky, but effective weapon, with an almost crude muzzle. Satisfied with the results, Travis would rise from his hiding spot, and aim the weapon wherever the ninja was now, and unleash a burst of electrical energy upon them.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Khell was having a hard time keeping up with this corpse and it suddenly saying that "death" was here confused him slightly, he had no intention of dying out in the middle of a desert so far from home, he had walked away from much worse scenarios in his 24 years of life, most of them within the last few. "Khell, what's going on in there? Why is Alex pinging me with a distress beacon?" "I have a corpse on the move and I-" "A corpse?" "You heard me! I need my equipment, see what you can do to that end would you? I have my hands full right now!" All he could do right now was dodge and parry, the dead man had no openings to exploit. Why does the weird shit keep happening when I'm trying to do anything that could be considered normal?
Malys was flying around the area trying to discern where to deposit Wrath and Aegis when the Soviet giant appeared out of a rift. That is some pretty strange energy readings I'm getting, where did he come from? Looking closer to him she noticed what his weapon was, Is that his head or is there supposedly more like him somewhere? Because that just does not sound fun. "Khell, I have a bit of a problem out here..."
"What is it? I'm a little busy trying not to die down here!" "There's a very large man out here with a building destroying flail-type weapon in his hand..." "Perfect! What more could we ask for today? GUYS, WE'RE GOING TO HAVE MUCH LARGER PROBLEMS SOON!" Watching the energy shot fire from somewhere behind him, Alex puts up an image of the one who fired it and the weapon they used. Is that a modified staff from the golems??? When the hell did he have time to slap that together?
As the weapon crashes into the roof of the building, Malys formulates a plan to get the items Khell needs to him He's going to cave the ceiling in, might as well use that to my own advantage. she flies out behind the giant and lines up a launch for the things Khell needs, all that's left is to wait for the ceiling to cave in and give her the opportunity she needs.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Electricity arced from the staff towards Undead Jew Jitsu, causing the already burnt corpse to begin frying again. In response, he abandons the staff he pilfered and sticks it into the ground, using it as an improptu lightning rod to catch the current striking him. He hissed and lashed out with more of those poisoned ninja stars, but stayed put under the mark he made on the ceiling.
Shauna was about to slice up Jew Jitsu with a laser beam, but her attention was turned to the high ceiling of the memorial being caved in with such immense force, that a shockwave of force sent everyone save the most stable and durable to the ground.
"Sweet Jesus...what is that?" Shauna muttered as she was sent to the floor and came face to face with a giant, chained up skull that crashed through the ceiling, right above the Atom's chamber. The skull was slowly pulled out, letting the harsh desert sun and lots of sand pour into the chamber, not to mention large slabs of concrete. Everyone could probably see the undead giant responsible at this point, as his hand came into the chamber to scoop up Jew Jitsu like a toy.
Jew Jitsu groaned and hissed, but did not struggle. The giant brought the undead ninja to its diving helmet, opened one latch and let him into the antiquated brass diving helmet. Must have been roomy in there.
But it seemed the necro-giant wasn't just here for the ninja. Four legged robot walkers poured into the tomb, each one armed with a pair of scything claws, intent on attacking and slicing up everyone present. The robots were then followed by some of the meta-dead... and Shauna looked at them in horror. It couldn't be.
One of them was a giant minotaur cyborg, known as the mercenary villain Mecha Minotaur. He was moving around quite well, considering the large gaping hole in his chest where his heart used to be, where Shauna carved it out.
Another was a tall man with immense pectoral girth, in resplendid Greek Hoplite regalia, complete with a brass shield and a mighty spear. His name was emblazoned across his chest. Stan the Spartan Man. The scar of a line ran from his head down to his cod piece, his tattered cloak sliced in half- Shauna had cut this guy in half.
A third meta-dead arrived, surrounded by an aura of chilling cold. Clad in a cold suit and carrying a frost cannon, Cryo-Reaver scanned the grave site. He and his fellows all spot Shauna, and she understandably froze in place with fear and apprehension.
"Well lookie here. Black Tigress the Laser Lass is still alive." He spoke, and a condensation escaped from his dead lips. Two holes in the chest marked where Shauna had overloaded his suit, causing his body to freeze to death.
"Shut up, we're not here for her. Not today anyway." Spartan Stan said. With the occupants of the grave occupied, Cryo-Reaver froze the slab covering the Atom's final resting place, then Mecha Minotaur's fists and Stan's spear were smashing it open. It seemed they were here to take the Atom... and all the other dead heroes in their graves.

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
The electrical discharge would arc outwards from his weapon, and strike true upon the undead ninja, reducing their decaying flesh into a burnt mess. Despite the disgusted expression that played across his face, internally he had been pleased with the damage that he had done to the thing. His weapon had proved more useful than he thought, considering the rather poor and rushed creation, still he had a feeling it had a few more shots within it, before he would have to throw it away for something more useful. It was times like this he wished that fool Carter Wright had not died, but things happened as they did, he would have to get over them. One fingers would move to his belt, pressing a button that would activate a protective shield, invisible as it would encompass his body, meant to protect it from any damage that would happen.
Despite the fact that his mind was powerful, his flesh was weak and he would have to be careful about its frailness. With the warm weapon in hand, he would keep prepared against any dangers that would appear, but the next scene was not expected at all. The ceiling had begun to collapse, falling down upon part of the room, and without a thought, he would ram an elbow into Omegas stomach, throwing his full body weight towards him, throwing the two back enough that they were out of the range of most of the rubble. In the end however, they were safe, despite the breath being knocked out of Omega, who was now gasping for breath. ”Ow.” he said after a small fit of coughing, finally gather his breath as some of the dust thrown up would float through the air.
One thing to notice was something grabbing onto Jew Jitsu, throwing it into its mouth and seemingly eating it, followed by other undead. EVE rapidly ran over them, scanning the info through the eyes that were connected to the brain that it was connected. Strange robots, along with some unknown people following along behind them, strange individuals for sure but he couldn't really figure out, yet they seemed to know who his aunt was. One spoke as if they knew her, derision poisoning their voice, as Travis blinked and couldn't help but wonder what was happening, until they went to rob the grave of The Atom. They had breached the slab, freezing it and smashing it, though he had only one reaction. Raising his weapon, he let it power up before firing it off as Stan.
”Looks like its Dawn of The Dead up in here.”

Re: The Atom and the Star of David
Well shit, this just turned into a total farce in here didn't it? Khell was just about at his limit for weird shit after the introduction of yet more people who were suppose to be dead. Amongst the dead warriors was at least one he recognized from files and reports he had read through back when he worked for CSIS, the Mecha Minotaur had been part of a dangerous individuals list before suddenly being filed as deceased for unknown reasons, reasons which became apparent when Khell noticed the gaping hole in his chest. Yeah... Not tangling with these guys, whatever the hell put them down the first time doesn't seem to have worked so well. "Khell, I have a present for you." Finally! "Dropping it in the newly made skylight are we?"
Malys was flying in behind the giant as he crushed a hole in the roof of the tomb, allowing passage for the now known to be dead metas swarming it. "I'm dropping them in and taking a pass at this giant guy out here. Who was that he was holding earlier?" "It's no longer relevant at this time, drop them in please." "Sure thing, here goes!" Swooping in low and past the giant, Malys launches Wrath and Aegis into the hole behind the advancing robots. "That's the best I can do with that angle, good luck." With that she quickly doubles back over herself and unleashes her Tesla Cannon at the giant and veers to the side to avoid any potential counterattacks that might be thrown her way.
Seeing the crash of his equipment behind the enemy lines, Khell can only smile. "Awesome, it's Cambodia all over again!" He races towards the line of robots, dodging and weaving his way through, sometimes doing vaults using the staff and delivering a few strikes to the robots as he passes until he reaches his equipment. The case containing his preferred armaments gives a pneumatic hiss as it opens and makes them ready access for their wielder. When Khell reaches the case, he turns around and quickly hurls the staff he was using at the minotaur business end first "Take this you heartless bastard! How dare you desecrate that great man's grave!?" and then grabs his gear. "So much better with my own stuff. Alex, I'm feeling in the mood for something powerful, any suggestions?" "What about Strength of a Thousand Men?" "I Like it! You're getting way better at this Alex." "Thank you sir." Music blaring, Khell launches into the rear of the robo-spider assault line sword drawn and ready to wreck his foes.
