Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
As yumo walked in there was an explosion behind him. The hot air rushed past him and at first nothing happened and yumo continued to walk oblivious to what was about to happen. As he walked the right side of the building collapsed atop him. Yumo sat in the dark rubble for a minute. He didn't know what to do so he figured he would wait there until something happened. But then someone grabbed him and a cold piece of metal walked him across his face. anger quickly built inside yumo as small horns protruded from his head and seemed to slowly grow still. Blood playfully circled yumo then it split and eradicated the rest of the gang.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Prime raced upstairs. oddly there was no one in the warehouse, yet still no one in the office, joining the warehouse. It seemed like everyone and their brother was outside trying to fight us off... look how successful that was.
When Prime reached the top of the stairs he decided to wait for everyone to catch up to him, but seeing as how no one was coming up the stair he decided to go into the room by himself. He inhaled a deep, deep breath then let it out. He smelled the faint scent of something burning, odd. He then kicked the door open. The smell of fire was now stronger, the heat was un bearable and the darkness had vanished.
There he was, the leader. A big ape of a man, fire covered his arms, surges of the flame kept going from his hands to his shoulders, and his eyes glowed red like the cinders of a fire. The ape man smiled, a sinister smile. He raised his right hand and created a fire ball. He quickly shot it at Prime. Prime couldn't do anything but stand still. The fire ball hit him dead on sending him flying back out the doors and down the steps. He rolled down the steps a little ways then caught himself on the nails holding the wooden steps together. Prime then walked backup the steps, getting angrier with each step he took. He reached the top but by then the ape man was already on top of him. The leader grabbed Prime by the neck and as he was about to crush his wind pipe, Prime focused on the nails in the floor boards turned them into spikes and shot them up the leaders foot. The man yelled in agony, but, unfortunately he wasn't phased enough to drop Prime, instead the ape man smashed Prime into the now weak floor boards sending Prime down 15 feet to the main Warehouse.
Prime landed on a piece of scaffolding and laid there for a minute waiting to regain his breath.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Lincoln opening the door saw him, a beast of a man. Oh hell this was going to be fun. Running up with a fully loaded gun in one hand and a saber in the other he charged. Strong, hard hitting, but terribly slow. Lincoln dodged the first few shots not with ease, but not with terrible difficulty either. Taking his saber he went for the leg, and just as it should have been sinking into flesh and muscle, the blade barely went in, and as for Lincoln he was sent flying down a hole in the floor his saber still left in the mans leg.
Lincoln managed to glimpse Prime resting on the scaffolding as he passed him, Lincoln wasn't quite lucky enough to land on one of those, instead falling much further down, and he was headed face first into concrete. As Lincoln landed his upper torso made multiple loud cracking sounds, probably some pieces of his skull lodging themselves into his brain, he was out cold this time.
Lincolns powers did manage to push the first few pieces out of his brain, and the broken neck was easy enough to heal. Allowing him to awaken. but the last piece was lodged terribly deep and was also terribly large, no amount of time was going to heal this wound unless something knocked it out his head. He tried to move his arm, unfortunately doing so only sent more excruciating pain all through his mind, he wanted to scream but was unable. So he lay there un-moving, unable to speak, but completely aware, completely able to feel every bit of pain inflicted upon him.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Prime rolled over off his back, feeling his left ribs crack and pop, he was in terrible condition, but I'm sure Governor was in worse condition. Prime got up, a shot of adrenaline rushed through his body, he got up quickly, but he slowly wobbled to the edge of the scaffolding. He climbed down the side of it and walked over to the Governor. He bent down and then rolled his body over. He tried to pick the bone out of the side of his head. "Sorry buddy... this is probably gonna hurt like hell."
All of a sudden the gang leader jumped down from the top floor of the office. He landed next to Prime, picked him up by the back of his neck, and flung him across the room. Prime hit some barrels stacked up in a corner and fell down on his knees. He tried to pick himself up but couldn't muster the strength. He looked up and saw the gang leader pick the Governor up by his arm, pluck the bone from the side of his head and laughed out sinisterly. The leader then tossed the body of the Governor to the side of him and slowly made his way over to Prime who was laying down in the corner of the warehouse.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Lincoln lay there barely aware of what just happened and then it shot through him, life, and the pain he just felt hit him again all at once. This was the worst part of his powers the adaption, having to live it twice so he didn't have to a third time. Any normal person would go into shock, hell maybe he was in shock, he wasn't sure but it hurt worse than hell.
And then it was gone, everything, the pain was gone, and he wasn't even sweating. Lincoln climbed to his feet while looking over; the gorilla man was heading towards Prime. Well he wasn't about to get to him. Lincoln could heal, this kid couldn't. Of course the fact that he was pretty pissed off right now probably weighed into his decision.
Pulling his revolver he shot twice into the over sized thugs head. Walking towards him as he fired. This of course only served to piss the thug off as well. Great now they were both mad, time to see who's powers proved stronger.
Running up Lincoln dodged a punch from the gorilla using his momentum to slide under him grabing his saber from out of the mans leg. He needed help to kill this thing.
"Prime I know your in pain right now but, I need you to....." As he was saying this the thug knocked him to the side, sending him flying into the wall beside Prime. Now the big guy was heading towards both of them. Turning his head towards the now panting Prime he spoke to him with a slight grin.
"As I was saying I need you to hold him down with something only for a minute and then I can kill him, I know your hurting and I'm not going to lie it's going to feel like your cutting of your own head but you have to muster up enough strength to bring down one of those rafters onto him. Other wise he's going to cut it off for you." Lincoln said this getting up intent on keeping this beast away from Prime long enough for him to work his magic, oh boy they were all screwed if he did'didn't.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Prime clutched at his ribs. They were on fire from this inside and probably on the outside where he was hit earlier with a fire ball. He listened to Governor, but only caught a little bit of what he was saying as his vision and hearing were going in an out of a state of consciousness and unconsciousness. He did, however, hear the word rafter, and new what the Governors plan was.
Prime clenched his left fist hit the ground and yelled out. He jammed his right arm into the air with an open palm, grabbed the rafter right above the gorilla man and, with all of his might, brought it down on top of the gang leader, wrapping what was left of the rafter around him, tightening him in a solid metal straight jacket.
"Governor! shoot him!"
With the last bit if energy he could muster Prime squeezed a bit harder on the once metal rafter, making it very, very hard for the ape man to escape. As he tightened the rafters around him Prime fell to the floor, face first and passed out from the pain from his back and his ribs.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
"Good job kid, you can rest now." Governor said this knowing that now it was all or nothing and no gunshot was going to work.
Lincoln Running and jumping atop the metal casket plunged his saber through the eye of the beast, mustering all his might and driving it as deep as possible. The monster was still groaning and struggling to get free even after all that. Lincoln was done he wasn't going to let either him or Prime die, this monster on the other was as good as dead. Putting his revolver to the eye of the beast he fired twice more as it went limp Lincoln then put the gun into it's mouth and fired twice one again. Prying the saber from the eye he took the blade and lined it up with the thugs lifeless breathless neck and pushed, and pushed, and pushed once more until it's head was loped not so cleanly off his shoulders. Like he said he was done.
Hoping from atop the beast, Lincoln shaken but still hellbent on finishing the job. Walked over to Prime holstering his weapons and leaning over him, it was time to use everything he learned as a medic.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Yumo snapped as he watched the battle unfold. He didn't know what to do he didn't know what to think...he didn't even remember who was on his side. All he saw was the man get beaten and brutally killed in the action. His mind went numb with excitement as his demon blood rush through him. He could feel the opposition as he neared Gov and prime. He held no smile and his head lay down as he walked up to the two. His silence was replaced with loud shaken breathing that was heard over the subtle bang of things that still fell from the floor.
He made it to gov and just sgood there. For the next few seconds he still held the image of when he was sane but if someone looked him in the eyes they'd be able to clearly see it. His demon side and then his body would change drastically.

Overload couldn't help but ruin the moment when he shrugged Prime and G out of the way to get to Weaves.
"Weaves?" Overload began, "...You okay?" he said, attempting to grab him by the arm.
"Prime!" he called.

Prime, half conscious, half unconscious. He was pretty woozy but he could tell that the situation was dire. Prime clawed his way out of slumber. His ribs were on fire, his right side of his face was puffed up from being punched so many times in the face. Prime climbed to his feet trying to catch to his breath. He stuck his hand out to try and find some metal in the general vicinity. He found a piece of scaffolding and then jerked it out. He then forced it over to Overload hoping that he could catch it and turn it into a weapon of some sort.
He then fell back to the floor and tried to stay awake.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Lincoln watched as a dazed Prime awkwardly and hesitantly stumbled to his feat, their was no way he'd be up long. And sure enough he was landing on the ground nearly as soon as he got up. Though he had done something, thrown a spear like metal weapon to Overload. So Lincoln assumed, it was an attempt to deal with the now almost Satanic Blood Weaver, Lincoln wasn't the only one who saw it. He had a look in his eye, nothing but insanity....and dark, dark, twisted joy.
He knew that no mortal gun would be enough to stop this boy. Lincoln holstered his normal revolver and slowly reached behind him, his arm brushing his trench coat tail aside, his searching hand soon located what it was searching for, the leather of a hidden holster, with a hidden gun lurking inside. Lucy would once again be used against a meta-human, again not the first time and not for the last....
Drawing the war-hardened colt he aimed for Weaver's head, as he was beginning to squeeze the familiar trigger he hesitated. How could he kill this boy, this child! There were things he had done that some might consider worse than this but he just couldn't bring himself to fire. Was the child's life which was only a fraction of his own not worth more than his? He had already lived, and for far too long at that, Weaver on the other hand was only just beginning. Though if he didn't stop him then he could kill Prime who was already dangerously close to death as it was, or Overload and granted they were slightly more matured, though they were still young and no where as near as old as the disguised old soldier that had held a gun in his hand for far too long. Re-aiming his gun in what was only a few seconds from his first attempt at stopping the boy he aimed for the leg and squeezed the trigger and said the prayer he always accompanied with Lucy's bullets. A prayer for vengeance, accuracy, and forgiveness... ..

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
The hand screamed at yumo to attack and it took all of his will power to not hit Overload. Then at a moment of weakness he was shot In the leg, the pain slammed into his leg as he fell to one knee then he stood up again as his leg began to heal. For a couple of seconds he was still and everything was dead silent the pain was still registering itself in his mind. Then he grunted and his horns erupted from his head as claws elongated from his hands, blood drained down his leg and colored his socks. He then noticed a metal bar flying into overload's area and he quickly snatched it and swung the bar at overload, the bar whistled with inhuman strength and his smile deepened as his dark red eyes screamed with joy.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Overload quickly ducked under the bar and fell to the ground, clambering away to a safe distance, but not far enough to lose control of Weave's position.
Overload looked to Prime and yelled. "We have to contain him!"
After listening to himself, Overload laughed. 'Of course we do...' he though, shaking his head at his ignorance.
Grabbing the nearest mettalic pole that he could find, Overload began prodding Weaves away and keep at a distance from him. Looking back to Prime, he smiled. "Hero-boy!" he said, dodging another swing attempt from Weaves, "Try wrapping him up!"
Looking back at Weaves, he smiled a dark smile. "We're gonna have to fry him."

Prime awkwardly stood on his feet, he grabbed the metal pole Overload was yelling about and wrapped it up around the damaged Blood Weaver. He made sure the metal pipe was wound really tight around Blood Weaver. He then tossed Blood Weaver down on the ground. Prime then made a part of the metal pipe erect so it would b a perfect conduit for Overload electricity.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Lincoln seeing that even a shot from Lucy only proved to be a short distraction for Weaves until he began what looked like a strikingly fast healing process. Granted not as fast as Lincoln's own, but still pretty damn fast. Cursing himself for his hesitation he once again drew Lucy up to face Weaves sadistic writhing visage. Prime had him cocooned in a blanket of steel, and forced down upon the ground and since Lucy never missed unless it was Lincoln's own fault he should make for a very easy target. This would probably only prove to slow Weaves down but a shot to the brain would most likely do much more than the leg shot had done. Saying the old familiar prayer once again, his most used filangee began to exert a slow but steady inward pressure on the cold steel.

Re: Walked Right Into It (open)
Overload had begun to charge all the electricity that he could into his hands. He could feel everything in the room, from the small charge that Prime had been giving off using his powers, to the spark of Lincoln's gun going off. Overload's own heartbeat began to slow, pulling all of his energy into the next blow that he was going to land. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't think. All he could do was feel.
Overload released the blast. The electricity was a dark blue, not the normal yellow that had frequented his hands so long. He could feel the blood beginning to flow out of his nose and fingertips, but Weaves seemed to be too dangerous to chance being free. Overload's eyes began to get blurry, and his fingers were hot as flame. The charge was almost gone, almost free. And as Overload began to faint, the wrap that Prime had placed around Weaves now a high-voltage demon-zapper, Overload smiled. This was the first time in a long time where he didn't feel the constant pain of the charge in his body.
And with that thought, Overload fell to the ground.
