Personality:

Silent.
As many say, "It's the quiet ones that you should look out for." His silence is not a sign of shyness or timidness, it is something that you should be more afraid than happy about. Typically a monk devotes his life to silence to server their Gods through peace, however, Kang never took this oath, and actually when around allies he can be quiet the social butterfly. Although, he does not tend to stay close to very many people. He has always been one to believe in keeping your enemies closer. Therefore, he doesn't waste time with meaningless talk unless drinks are involved and in the right environment.

As stated before, his silence should be something that is feared. When channeling his chi it requires the utmost concentration which could be seen as a weakness. He doesn't even release sounds of pain while fighting which can cause him to have the wind knocked out of him quite easily.

Chaotic.
His mind has been twisted from all the treachery that was caused within his Wiharn. Everything that he had once believed in was thrown into his face when his brothers and sisters turned on him when he was younger. This being said, he doesn't trust many and those he trusts usually have his trust for life. He is a very hard person to get close to, even for beautiful female. He is easily frustrated and easily brought to confrontation. He is not one to take comments such as "baldy" or "cue-ball".

Fit.
Kang has always been fit since before he could remember. He has sustained a perfectly cut body for most of his life and lives to eat healthy and to maintain a muscular tone. He is constantly training and meditates daily to attempt at keeping a cleansed mind.

Lawful Evil.
Though a sinister character he does everything for the good of the world, but through actions of treachery he believes that the only way to cleanse the world is to genocide the people in it. He has had followers that believed in the same thing as he did, but in the end they turned on him and he was forced to do away with them all.

Perverted.
Though he does not physically talk to many woman, or any at all, he has many mental thoughts and dreams about them. He cannot help these thoughts, though he doesn't really want to. It is the only thing that keeps him from truly going off the deep end. His hand is his best friend.

History:

Childhood.

Kang was born January twenty-second in Los Angeles, California. Kang was born to a Korean father and a Caucasian mother. Though his mother was Caucasian she had deep beliefs in Buddhism as did his father. It is how the two came to know one another. The two were a very young couple and not on a very stable salary to raise a kid. So instead of putting him in an orphanage they sent him to a temple to become a monk when he would come of age. The temple hesitantly accepted the child...

"You would that if you were giving someone a child they would come to you to get it." Kang's father stated with smirk on his face as his mother rolled her eyes in disgust.

"You of all people should know how that is, they don't just take any child into the temple, they have to be destined for it." She responded letting go of his hand to scratch her face while her left hand was pushing a stroller containing the tiny baby. He was very small for his age from malnutrition so they could afford the flight to South Korea.

The two walked down the streets of a small village in the Eastern region of South Korea. Naked children ran through the streets screaming at one another about the games they were playing and giggling at the simultaneously. The village had a small population of a little less than 100 and only ran for about a mile radius. At the North end of the village was a large pathway that led to a gargantuan temple. The scene was almost cinematic as they came up to it. The two stopped and looked at one another, his mother had a tear run down her face and fall off her chin. With haste, his father brought his thumb under her eye smeared the wet, salty tears from her eye and smiled then stated, "We're doing the right thing." His mother looked away from him and finished wiping her face and nodded as they continued walking up the path.

Once inside they met with one of the head monks of the facility. The monk told them that they were to inspect him in a separate room while spoke to their God about the child. They handed over baby Kang. While the monks examined him a loud chatter arouse from the room. The monks were amazed by the spiritual power that the baby had for his age and came back to the parents with the great news that they would gladly train their son to become a monk.

Sixteen years later...

After years of hard and treacherous training Kang had finally found his way to the top of temple being one of the lead students. But as we all know all good things must come to an end...

"Kang, you have come so far. We knew that you would rise to the greatness that you are today." Kang bowed in appreciation to the monk's uplifting words. "Although, the other students have said that you cheat during your defense classes. Is this true, Kang?" Kang brought his head back in astonishment as the monks rose from the ground. "Please... defend yourself against all of us." The monk demanded as they all sprang toward Kang simultaneously.

"Master, no." Kang said as one of the elders loaded a punch toward Kang's visage. The punch landed right on his left cheek bone sending him to the ground and sliding a couple of feet. Kang rolled to his front and slowly rose as yet another fist slammed into side striking him right in the kidney. Kang gasped and coughed up a small amount of blood and feel back to his knees. "Don't make me fight you, there is no reason..." He stated wincing in pain. "I have done nothing." The elders stepped back waiting for Kang to raise up to feet.

"Defend yourself, or be exiled. There are no other choices." The high elder stated and stepped forward once again as Kang turned to them loading up yet another high powered strike. As the punch came toward his stomach Kang quickly pivoted on his left foot swing and grabbing the elder's arm with his left hand. A blue aura engulfed his finger tips in his left hand then quickly closed his fist and reopened it slamming his palm into the elders back and emitting a chi blast from it sending the elder flying into the wall. Kang wiped his bloody cheek as he smiled and stood up straight looking toward the deck.

"I told you, there was no reason... I have never used these techniques against the others, but you leave me no other choice." He brought his behind his back loading up two more chi blasts as the two monks came toward him blasting them both into the opposite wall to the eldest. Only one elder was left standing in astonishment who quickly gave in to his power. "This is not what I wanted, but you forced me to do this to all of you, for what? This is not what our God would want." As he said this the large doors to the elder's council room slammed open with all of his classmates standing behind him. Chatter emitted from the large group and soon led to all of the students charging wailing out war cries. Kang stepped back in slight fear then attempted to gather more chi into his hands... nothing. He brought his hands up to his face in confusion as a right hook came flying toward his left cheek bone. Darkness...

Kang woke up beaten purple, black, blue, and red. While regaining his ground the sound of chains rustling filled the space. He looked at his wrists, on them were iron cuffs that were connected to the walls vis-a-vis chains. Betrayed... or the betrayer? He pondered as the thoughts of what happened back at the council room came back to him. They had no right to question my ability. They turned on me... My family. Tears scrolled down his face mixing in with the blood and dirt that was already caked to his visage. He slammed his arms toward each other trying to break free of the chains that were on his arms. Then dropped back down to his knees in submission. He then clinched his fists closed and closed his eyes as he concentrated his chi to the palms of his hands. They ignited in a blue hue as he grabbed for the chains that connected him to the wall. He rose his arms up, shaking from exhaustion, the sound of chattering chains filled the room as he slammed his arms to his waist breaking the chain off where his hands held the chains. Blood dripped from his hands as the guards charged in.

"Don't move, monk!" The guard exclaimed and he did Kang whipped his hands in front of him sending the chains toward the guard cutting his stomach and slamming into this throat. Blood spewed onto the ground conjuring a large puddle only to be scattered by the body of the guard. Kang sprinted toward the door already panting, but the adrenaline overwhelmed his overall fatigue. He stepped over the dead body and continue out of the small prison house killing a few guards on the way out. He grabbed the keys to his chains and unlocked himself. He continued to the outdoors and found his way out by wedging himself between the wall of the temple and a building and continued running...

Today

Today, Kang NuHyun now goes by Monachos and can be found within the states. His aspirations are to cleanse the world of those that aren't as skilled as him so that those that are like him can come forward and show the world real peace. His plans to do this are through genocide.

The Powers

Power 1:(8 ABI) Chi Manipulation: The ability to manipulate the chi that is within himself to produce stronger punches, kicks, and other strikes. Also gives the ability to channel chi from the user to another living being to cause damage and corrupt the opponents chi balance.

Power 2:(5 FS) Muay Thai

A nice character. Odd to include the Perverted part in his personality, but it adds that little bit of depth to the character that some people seem to ignore.

Your character's powers are fine, however I question your grid!

You have Ability listed at 6. Which power does that Ability go to?

And then you have 1 in spells [ which means you should have two basic spells listed ]

and 3 "magic" which is the 'damage' that the basic spells would do; but Basic spells really do no damage. So, you can honestly drop the magic and spells points, boost your Ability to 8. I see your Ability as 'Chi Manipulation.' And the Chi Blast, or Chi Kick can be adaptations of his abilities.

Unless you want to use your characters abilities through spells and magic; if so, I suggest your funnel points into Magic and Spells.
