RoT: Part 2 (Robert - Roy)
. o O ( Here is where Robert and Roy shall continue on with their quest. I will fill in with a narrative part and etc, causing scenarios and the like for the two to overcome on their adventure to the address at the Storage Unit area. )
Of course partners can be fun. Partners should be fun. But usually partners are not needed; especially when the respected partners can work well enough on their own. But, in cases certainly identical to these, two people working together is needed more so than desired.
The sun was bright, burning down on New York, though noon had passed and it was falling further and further to the evening hours. So, despite the sun beaming through the partly cloudy sky, and it's bright glow warming the city of New York, the people were still a bit cold from the early spring winds.
The destination for this partnered pair was of course an odd one. It was a storage unit facility that had large warehouse buildings for storing vehicles, lots of larger furniture, and even small air crafts. Though, the partners did not know that. They were simply leaving a restaurant on the other side of the city.
Each of the partners were also given a map by Anna, that lovely attendant. It had a highlighted route to take the partners to their destination. Each route was different. That way, each of the partnered pairs would not run into one another until the very end.
So, for now, they were on their own.
And it was time for their first obstacle. It was a simple note on the back of the map. Along with a couple of other things. Almost like a scavenger hunt.
The list went as follows:
And that was about it. The list was simple and very vague. But there was also a note beneath the list. "Everything on this list must be completed before you reach your destination." The handwriting was very script like and beautiful. All in black ink, too. Possibly written by a woman.
Maybe a man, though. And now it was time for the fun to begin. The pair was posibly close to finding one of the items on their list.

Re: RoT: Part 2 (Robert - Roy)
Roy glanced at his letter, written in exquisite English. He approved of it. People in this world did not seem to understand proper writing, and seeing actual, decent beautiful cursive was a godsend at this point. He hated this world and he hated the decadent morals of it. It disgusted him to see the sheer lack of respect shown nowadays, completely ignoring that he himself never cared about giving respect to people below his stature. He delicately folded the note and placed it in his armour, glancing with disdain at the man he was partnered with. A bloody commoner. And he seemed to be a drug user at that. Ah well, you couldn't decide everything. He would have to be used to dealing with such people now, even if it horrified him and any decent man.
"Well, let us get on our jobs then." he ordered the other man, Robert somesuch. His voice was very professional and highly British, with a bizarre accent due to the fact it was based off the British English centuries ago. "We're wasting time just standing here. You know any drug users nearby, or is that a silly question in this disgusting city?"
Honestly, the place he was staying, East Harlem as it was called, was full of such drug users everywhere. It was revolting to his senses.

Re: RoT: Part 2 (Robert - Roy)
Robert read the note over, it wasn't anything that difficult, just had to do a couple of minor crime stopping. Robert gave a slight sigh, he wasn't really the type to stop random crimes, but nonetheless, he would do it. He looked at the man he was partnered with, he seemed to be of the condescending kind. Looking down upon everyone as if he was a superior being, though it was actually kinda amusing. Robert understood rank, but as of right now, him and this man were equals. He folded the note and then placed it into his front right pocket, it was right next to his phone.
Robert took out his pack of cigarettes as the man began to speak, he was asking about possible drug users. He took a cigarette out and lit it with a match, he then placed the cigarette pack back into his pocket. He then said in his twangy, midwestern accent "That is a pretty silly question considering that we're in New York. Well, the map told us to go in that direction. There's a big crack dealer up there that I see all the time, he basically runs that block. He sells right by his crack house too, which happens to be an abandoned apartment building." He took a long drag and began to walk, knowing that the man would follow.

Re: RoT: Part 2 (Robert - Roy)
Roy sighed. He knew, to his mild anger, that he was out of touch in this world. That unfortunately meant that he had to listen to irritating nuisances like this Robert and follow his lead. If he were in Africa, he would trust a savage with directions even if he would dislike doing so. But...Roy sighed openly. "Honestly, I do not understand why we are dealing with such unimportant rubbish. Does this Chelle not have more important things to be bothered with? These intoxicants are nothing more than a minor issue when we could be considering far more important things."
He continued walking until they came upon the old abandoned apartment building, which was extremely shitty, to use an American phrase. Poorly constructed and manufactured, it looked as though it would fall down at any moment. This was the sort of house where kings would live like cockroaches and the cockroaches would live like kings. Roy sighed. "Honestly, only a peasant would live in a place like this...." he muttered in Spanish.
He heard a woman shrieking, and he smiled. "Hah. Perhaps we can take this time and get two jobs done in one. Let's try to be discreet." said the man wearing a suit of armour walking confidently into the apartment complex.
A black man glanced up, a bunch of other thugs gathered around a woman. "What is your business here?" he asked in a very British accent, bizarre to hear. But it was New York, the melting pot. A black Briton running a drug business wasn't too odd.

Re: RoT: Part 2 (Robert - Roy)
This guy sure does sigh a lot. Thought Robert to himself. Robert could tell by his body gesture and facial expressions that he didn't like working with him, he probably didn't like his presence at all either. Robert didn't care in the slightest though, this man was a narcissist, but that wouldn't distract him from getting this petty job done. "Ya know, I was just wondering the same thing." Robert said as he blew out a puff of smoke. "We're not superheros after all." Robert continued to walk and they were soon at the abandoned apartment building, it wasn't really that far of a walk.
Most of the windows of the apartment were missing and the structure looked like it could fall at anytime, it was a safety hazard, and it was abandoned for a reason. Plus, this neighborhood was flooded with thugs, gangs, and drug dealers. This one, by the name of Big White, was the biggest in the neighborhood. They called him Big White because of the drugs he was pushing. He was working his way up the ranks of New York's crime bosses. He heard Roy mutter something in Spanish, he didn't understand the language, but he assumed it was commentary on the building.
Robert heard a scream from the inside of the building, it was most likely a woman. "Well, luck us." said Robert as he put his hands into his sports coat pockets. They both walked in and there was Big White, he asked them what they were here for. "We just wanted to have some fun and we wandered here. What can you do about it?" Robert said with a slight shrug. He then whispered to Roy "I'm sure I don't have to remind you, but we can't kill anyone, as hard as that might be. After we neutralize the thugs and Big White, we should burn this baby down. I got the girl, you take care of him. Shouldn't be too hard."
Robert analyzed his surroundings and noticed that Big White had about 4 thugs with him at the moment, all of them centered around the woman. Luckily, they were right in front of him. He looked at Roy, it was time to start.

Re: RoT: Part 2 (Robert - Roy)
Roy glanced at the black guy. "They call you Big White, boy? I think the name was off. You may be rather big, but I think you fail a bit at the second category." he said in his own professional English.
The black man- Big White- seemed insulted. "Excuse me?" he asked, sounding almost shocked. The other men also glanced up, staring at Roy in disbelief. They might be gangsters and such, but they were rather multiracial- for example, the group consisted of two Mexicans, a white guy, a Chinese and then Big White. They may be drug dealers and possibly rapists, but they sure as hell weren't racist in that way.
Big White stared at Roy's sword. "That won't help you much, boy." he said, throwing those words back in Roy's face. "Fire at them!" he barked, and the men pulled out their guns and shot, focusing mainly on Roy. Roy whipped out his sword and ran at them, which shocked the thugs a bit. Who the fuck runs toward the guns?
He used his sword and whacked the guns out of two of the thugs' hands, and also whacked one hand off the white guy's arm. Not killing yet....

Re: RoT: Part 2 (Robert - Roy)
Roy began to talk to Big White, insulting him and instigating a fight. He angered Big White, so Big White ordered the thugs to fire at both of them. Robert sighed and then quickly sidestepped and rolled to avoid the bullets, none of them touched him. They were all pointed towards Roy, which Robert would use to his advantage. Roy basically ignored Robert's plan and instead went for the thugs surrounding the girl, but that was fine with Robert because he really wanted Big White. He looked at Big White and then said "Come on." with one finger, treating him as if he was a kid. Big White took out a handgun and pointed it at Robert, this was mere child's play to Robert.
Robert pulled out one of his two titanium swords from their sheath on his back and as soon as he did, Big White began to shoot at him. Robert ran towards him, deflecting each bullet with the sword. He got to Big White in less than a second. With Big White's arm extended, the one he was shooting with, Robert punched underneath the elbow to break his arm. Big White screamed in agony and dropped it, but Robert caught it in midair and then used it to shoot Big White's kneecap at point blank range. Big White collapsed on the floor immediately after he was shot in the leg.
Robert put the sword back into its sheath and then took the cigarette out of his mouth. He put the cigarette on Big White's forehead, he screamed even more. Robert then knelt down over Big White and said "I hope you know that I can kill you anytime I want, but today is your lucky day." Big White then spit at Robert, but Robert backed up before it hit him. Robert, now a little angered, knocked him out with a punch to the jaw, he felt the bone fracture. Robert then walked outside, while dragging Big White, and yelled back at Roy "Hurry up, I want to get this over with already."
He knew that he could handle this situation by himself. Robert placed Big White against the wall of a building across the street, then found a jug of gasoline and poured it on the outside walls and on the ground closest to the walls of the apartment building. He took out his matchbook and waited for Roy to come back outside with the girl and those thugs. He couldn't leave them in there because then they would be killed by the fire and that was one of their rules, not to kill. Robert looked at the bit of blood splattered on his shoe from the Big White's bullet wound and said "These are my favorite, man."

Re: RoT: Part 2 (Robert - Roy)
Roy watched his fellow take out the coloured leader of the thugs, Big White, nodding with some grudging respect. All right then, he could handle himself in a fight well enough. That was possibly the only thing Roy appreciated about him. He glanced at the neutralised enemies and the now unconscious girl, deciding that the job was done and done rather quickly. He walked toward the thugs and the girl, carrying them all quite easily and at one time. An abnormal feat, but he was a rather abnormal man.
He walked outside while carrying this luggage of sorts, dropping it to the floor as soon as he was out of the building. "Well then." he said. "I suppose you can call those who guard this city and it's ruler, and they will likely place these men in a jail. I do not know and do not particularly care what they do to the woman. In the meantime, I suppose we can let this place burn." he said. "I shall meet you back at the base." he said, walking off.

Re: RoT: Part 2 (Robert - Roy)
Robert waved at Roy as he walked away, he had the map, so he knew where to go from here. He walked over to Big White's body and took out his phone, he then threw a lit match into the gasoline by the apartment and the first floor was then engulfed in flames. Robert used Big White's phone to call the police, he then proceeded to tell them that there was an emergency at the apartment's address, told them about his capture and then said there was a fire. He then hung up the phone and threw it into the flames.
He probably just destroyed a huge part of evidence, but he didn't want the NYPD to know who he was. He got rid of any evidence that he was even there. Robert spit on his shoe, and then rubbed it with his sleeve, he wanted to get the blood off. He then walked towards his destination, it wasn't that far. He wondered what awaited him at this place, but by now, Roy should have arrived.
