Eric just nods but continues to stare. He was still showing all his wolffy love and not really caring either. She already said that she wasn't going to murder him but he didn't mind running if he had to. He watched her walk to her room and then walked over into the kitchen and pulled the rabbit stew out of the fridge. He put the stew in the microwave and let it heat up. He waited for a few minutes and then went out and sat on the fire escape.

Once she exited her bathroom, she was simply wearing a soft blue nightgown, as she wasn't really doing much else that evening. Letting her long curls hand damply over her shoulders, she sat down at the table. "Wow . . . I've heard rabbit's good, but where the hell did you manage to get one?" She questioned, leaning over to lightly kiss him on the cheek in greeting.

"Central Park." Eric said to her. He got up and fixed two bowls of the stew and then brought the meal over to the table. He kissed her lightly on the cheek as well and then took a bite out of the stew. It would've tasted better if it was freshly made...actually it did taste better when he ate it after he finished making the stew but he didn't complain about it cause he knew she didn't have a choice but to eat it as reheated leftovers. "So how did it go with work and all?" Eric asked.

While she ate, she thought of her day and shrugged a shoulder. "Boring, pointless, and I'm pretty sure I tore my hamstring." She muttered, glancing at her leg and then propping it up on another chair. "Wow, this is pretty good . . . Tastes different than what I'm used to, but it's nice." She complimented, glancing over at him. "But did you go HUNTING for this or did you BUY the meat?" As she finished up her meal, she placed the dish in the sink and sat down on the sofa. She didn't seem at all disgusted or surprised that he'd gone HUNTING for the rabbit--She was simply curious.

"I'm a wolf. What purpose would I have to buy food." Eric said smirking a little at his sarcastic comment. It wasn't that he felt like being sarcastic but it was one of those moments when he felt like being a bit douchy when answering an obvious question. He finished his bowl and took it over to the sink as well and just stood there.

"Oh, yeah. Well, I'm sorry, but not many girls know men that literally hunt for their food." She commented, rolling her eyes. "But I do have to say that it was nice even if YOU went hunting for dinner . . . " Glancing up, she delicately pecked him on the lips and finished with a truthful, "Thanks. I haven't had anyone cook or do anything for me. Not that I gave a shit, but it's a nice change."

Eric smirked a bit at how she reacted to the little bit of doucheyness he had. "Well it was pretty nice for me as well. Especially since I could hunt for more then just myself, and actually have some adequet ingredients to cook with. Needless to say being able to make a rabbit stew with some kinda flavor to it was nice." Eric said to her and softly kissed her cheek before walking into the living room and sitting down of the sofa.

Simply gazing over at him for several moments, she inwardly chuckled to herself. Getting to her feet lazily, she sank down into the sofa with him. "Tomorrow, I'm off . . . Maybe I could take you on a little tour of New York. That is, if you'd like . . . " Liking the warmth that he produced, she almost delicately wound her arms around him and pressed a bit closer. Being a girl like her, Essa went through the harsh treatment and after-feelings of rape and abuse. The tender warmth she felt now was never an option before . . . And she welcomed the new feeling with open arms.

"Hmm. I'd really like that." Eric said to Essa and then smiled lightly. He qiuetly wrapped one of his arms around her waist, and relaxed somemore. He felt that with each passing second a bit more of his stress passed away. It was all becuase of Essa, and he didn't complain either. It was one of those weried things that you never complained about.

"I figured if you ARE going to stay around, you'd probably want to know a few places so you're not always lost. Hell, I've lived here since BIRTH and I still haven't seen every inch of the city . . . This place enver sleeps, you know?" Glancing at the television, she leaned her head onto his shoulder and sighed. "Maybe you cuold join a hero group . . . ? People need help all the time and your most likely powerful in your wolf form . . . "

Eric sat there quietly and listened to her as he talked. He layed his head down a bit on here's and thought about the hero group idea. "Yeah I guess. The question though is what hero groups are around here that dont have total annoyances among there members." He said to her as he looked at the TV screen.

"Yeah . . . I recently joined my group and some of the people seem like bitches . . . You can never find a PERFECT group, really. Just find a group that you can stand somewhat . . . " She advised quietly as she reached over to grab a blanket. "I just think you shouldn't be locked up with your 'powers' or ability to change . . . You can help others with it . . . "

"I have helped. The problem is that people fear me after I've saved them. I don't want to be locked up about who I am but it's just how things have happened." Eric said to her. He stroked her hair a bit as he talked to her. He kissed her lightly on her forhead as he ran his hand through her hair. "So...anything you want to do.....?" Eric asked her.

Glancing up at him, she put both arms tenderly around his neck and told him, "I've been that way all my life . . . I've always wanted to do good, but was never thanked--Only scorned for being different . . . But sometimes all you CAN do is help . . . By hurting, you're not accomlpishing anything really . . ." She admitted, taking one hand to place it delicately on his cheek. "I was told that good things come to those who wait . . . "

"I gues......I guess I've just never had a reason to try and be a more helpful person. It was just stupid fear." Eric said to her taking her hand in his. He smiled at her and then thought about what she had said. He sighed to himself and kissed her again. "You know you are hard to argue with right." Eric said to her with a smile on his face.

"Hey, Eric? Sorry, hun, but I gotta kick you out. I gotta focus on my work and everyone's saying I'm far too tired at work . . . You can stay around, but I'd prefer us NOT to be . . . a couple. Too much work for me right now . . ."
