Another Night, Another Heist
She had found herself in one of the large cities of America, Atlanta. She had, so far, avoided places like New York and Chicago, if only for the supers that prowled there. She was sure she never wanted to meet the man called Pain, that much was for sure; she didn't much agree with policies like no killing either, hence the reason she avoided big cities like that. Atlanta was big too, but she never heard of it being patrolled by anybody notable or anything like that; that didn't mean crimes didn't still happen there though, they did. She had learned that first hand about a week earlier; some thugs had gotten in way over their heads when it came to a bank heist and had executed it poorly. At least, they executed it poorly when it came to dealing with those with superpowers; their plan had still been commendable. Hm, was she being too nice by saying that? Yes, she probably was.
That was when she saw it; a person waving a gun around in the bank opposite of the warehouse she had been occupying for the last week. What bank it was didn't matter; all that did matter was the fact that someone was up to no good, or several someones; bank heists were usually done alone. Or it was possibly someone else. A jilted lover come to get revenge after having his heart torn out, appearing at his ex-lover's job to kill her. A scare tactic to muscle in some influence for himself. Who knew? Either way, someone was going to get hurt if he kept his antics up. "Figures....I have to be the only one around to be able to respond to it instantly," the young girl told herself as she stood up, taking in a deep breath and letting the night air flow into her. It had been such a lovely night too, but now it was being interrupted by thugs. What a pain it was.
She walked over to the edge of the warehouse she was on, the warehouse she lived in for now, and simply jumped off. She didn't, of course, die when she impacted with the ground; minute changes in her body, in the way her hand landed on the ground outstretched, helped her contact the ground safely. After her hand met the ground, all she had to do was roll into the ground, and roll she did; it wasn't that difficult, not with her enhanced reaction time guiding her. "Ah well. No use complaining about it." she said as she got up. She wondered if it would be a bit more exciting than last week had been.

Re: Another Night, Another Heist
Danny was glad to be visiting Atlanta, he knew nothing about the place, but he was always glad to be somewhere new. He had found a hotel, unpacked, and left quickly, same as always. He was wandering the city looking for anything of interest, maybe a nice place to eat, a bookshop or arcade... or maybe some lives to save. He had strolled for maybe two hours, seen some nice places he thought to try at a later date. Then he found a bank that seemed to be getting robbed by an idiot waving a gun like he didn't know how to use it. "Crap, he looks jumpy. Can't wait for the police, he'll kill someone soon, whether he means to or not." He thought tugging stress-fully at his brown hair "Ow! Got to stop doing that..." He mumbled. Danny was now in hero mode, he put up his hood, strapped his eye mask on and hid his bag in an alley (Hopefully no one would find it...)
He was standing in front of a warehouse across from the bank, looking for a way to sneak up on the crook when a figure dropped down onto the earth in front of him.

Re: Another Night, Another Heist
"Really? That's all you could come up with? Sheesh, and I thought my outfit was horrible," was the first thing that came out of Lacey's mouth upon spying the man that she had landed in front of. No, not a man, not fully; though she wasn't really one to judge if someone was an adult or not, considering the fact that she was only 12 herself. But still, she had managed to come up with a better costume than he had, in her opinion. Whereas he had black...well, everything, such as a hoodie, jeans, boots, and mask, not to mention the grey gloves, her outfit made some semblance of sense since it was mostly to cover up who she was. Considering her size though, it was still obvious she was either 12 or a midget; either of the two. Her voice suggested the former, however; it still had the pitch of a young girl.
Her outfit was a bit better than his, again in her own opinion; a dark, black cloak that obscured most of her. Usually she had her hands out of the cloak, but not then; she didn't want to be seen at all. To that end, she was also wearing something she normally didn't wear; black gloves. She was wearing normal clothes under that though, such as black jeans and a black, long-sleeved shirt. On her head, not much could be seen of it thanks to the ninja garb that covered the area below her nose, and the rest of the garb that covered her forehead and hair. He might be able to see her eyes, if it weren't for the goggles she was wearing; they were perfect when it came to seeing in low-light conditions as well as in extreme-light conditions. They looked like ordinary goggles, but it hadn't been that big of a deal for her to make them able to see in the dark.
"And now you're just standing there, thinking of a way to get in there, right? Just go in with a bang is my philosophy." she informed the older male, smirking a bit even though he couldn't see it, before she rushed forward, much faster than an ordinary 12 year old would be able to run. Within moments she was near the entrance to the bank; she wasn't about to go in first herself, however. It would be his job to be the bait, after all.

Re: Another Night, Another Heist
Phade stood in stunned silence as the small figure sprinted, towards the bank. His head was bursting with questions, least of all "Is it just me or does that sound like a little girl?" But he didn't say a word to the... girl? He was in too much awe of this moment; he had just met his first super person and she turns out to be one of the more unusual ones. Wait, had she just called his costume crap? Well, it was, but that's beside the point, had no one taught this person manners? Phade decided to let it go and would sulk about it later if he got the chance, but right now people where in danger and he didn't know if this girl was looking to help them or score some easy cash. He awkwardly ran to stand beside her and said "Well, uh, not really about how to get in, more about from which angle." From up close she was a bit intimidating, all black, professional looking and Phade was sure he saw guns. He took a second more looking at the crook through the store front and decided to let his, obviously more experienced friend take care of him while he himself saved the poor women with the gun in her face.
"I'm going to save her, I assume you can deal with the goon holding the gun?" Phade was now trying to force an American accent, hoping covering his own would further keep his identity safe. He walked around the side of the building until he was roughly where he thought the bank teller to be, he then crouched down and sank into the wall coming out a few feet to her right; luckily he wasn't seen. The armed man was getting agitated, the women wasn't able to think properly and couldn't get him any money "Anything you have! Anything! Stupid bitch, just give me your own money before the cops get here!" He screamed at the terrified teller who was now sobbing and pleading for her life. Phade was close enough now to get a firm hold of her and leaped up to wrap his arms around her causing the to crook opened fire in a panic. The bullets passed through them without harm but the women was frightened and struggling to get away. Phade pushed her down to a crouch while trying to convince her she was safe with him. "Did I even think this through a little bit?" He thought, more than a little annoyed with himself.

Re: Another Night, Another Heist
Ah, which angle; that made more sense than just wondering how to get in, though not so much. What did he meant which angle? It wasn't as if there were a large variety of ways to get into a bank, unless you were planning to tear down a wall or something. By the looks of him, you wouldn't guess that was his plan, so she couldn't help but be a bit curious about the older male. She could tell he was trying to hide whatever accent it was he had by adopting an American one, which didn't really work; it wasn't as if Americans had one set accent, after all. There was the western drawl, the southern drawl, the northern...well, huh, she didn't know what those accents might be called. She only knew that American accents varied by region, so trying to adopt one typically failed poorly unless you imitated a specific accent from a region of the United States. Still, his accent wasn't important right then; it was the man waving the gun around that was important. Dakka herself did not have a thing against robbing banks; she did do robberies when it was needed, but not banks because what was the point of stealing money when you could just steal whatever you wanted instead? Besides, even when she herself did robberies, she didn't threaten the person's life too badly; she would certainly never kill someone during a robbery.
She glanced at the male and nodded her head a little bit; she wondered, was he aware she as looking at him? It would be difficult for him to tell, considering her goggles obscured her eyes so heavily from outside view. That didn't matter either though; she watched him leave, then turned her attention back to the bank. Well then, time to make a bang. Without further hesitation, Dakka began to move again, once more at a very fast pace for a child, and within moments she had reached the door to the bank. She opened it, and the gunman, who by this point was firing wildly at the bank teller, suddenly began to fire in her direction as well. "Sheesh...I was hoping to say something cool before kicking your ass." Dakka stated, shaking her young head before she rushed forward, all the bullets seeming to miss her by a wide margin; enhanced reflexes, what would she do without 'em? Once she felt she was close enough, she whipped out the two pistols strapped to her waist and opened fire once, then another time. One bullet to the head, one bullet to the heart; she watched as they rushed towards the gunman. Would he dodge them? Not unless he was similar to her; would he be able to tank them? Possibly, although living with a bullet in your head and one in your heart wasn't too good for your health.

Re: Another Night, Another Heist
Phade couldn't believe the silence that had fallen; the gunshots had been so loud but now there was nothing but his own breath, even the clerk had stopped struggling and was whimpering only slightly. "Ma'am, it's okay, you're fine now. Please let go..." He said soothingly to the distraught woman. He had heard two shots that seemed somehow different than the rest, but exactly how they were different he couldn't think at the time. "Is everything okay, kid?" He called over the counter. What he saw made his heart feel heavy and vomit rise in his throat. The gunman was lying dead, two bullet holes in him, on the floor in a pool of blood; Phade staggered through the counter and stood over the corpse Why did he have to die?" Phade stammered at the girl who was obviously a pro at killing.
