Glen Oaks Nightmares. (Open to Heros and Villains)

Nightmare walked into Glen Oaks mental institution both hands deep down in his pockets as he examined the broken down building that had been his home for a long time. His footsteps echoed off the rotten broken and filthy walls as he made his way through the building flicking switches having convinced a man to turn the power on but every bulb he added he also shot out leaving the place completely and utterly dark.

Glen Oaks one of the best mental hospitals in Texas had fallen into disuse when the entire staff killed each other and to this day no one knows why, The building is a massive five story tall structure once red bricks glowed in the sun now it was covered in vines and vegetation and the full moon and dark night didn't help the setting of the ghostly building and neither did the eerie fog that floated over the moors. The doors and windows however had been replaced with powerful bars and reinforced steel disguised as damaged and broken.

Nightmare had sent e-vites to many people to bring them here promising safety or answers to many questions. Nightmare sat in the camera room wrapped in shadows so he was completely black only his red eyes shone out looking at the cameras as he awaited his guest.

The message seemed sketchy. It told her that a mental hospital in Texas had information about her father's operations. The fact that her father used a mental hospital close to Nebraska to test subjects didn't surprise her. Someone getting out and finding her surprised her. No matter. She needed to find out what this hospital contained.

Bliss's boots strode down the broken sidewalk and looked upon the abandoned building. Foliage overtook the cement and bricks by a siege of decades. She walked to the door of the asylum and attempted to open the mechanism holding the door closed. The door was unlocked. She looked to see a camera on the side of the wall. A red light shown on the side. She told herself this looked like a trap, but it fell on deaf ears.

The halls looked draped in darkness. She put her hand on the walls to guide herself and pulled out her cell phone to give her a little light. She flipped the light switch but nothing happened. The lights probably haven't been changed in years. But the camera was on. How could that happen. She kept moving her way through the halls, trying to find a flight of stairs.

Nightmare watched the first visitor appear and enter his old home and smiled, Red eyes flicked to the screens watching her movement and decided to have a little fun. Nightmare watched the woman reaching into her mind he grinned plucking her fear and twisted it pulling it from the Woman's thoughts and set it into motion to make it real.

The ground behind Eclipse pooled with shadows before five forms rose each one dressed like a Nurse wielding needles and arm bands on there arms the same symbol as Eclipses fathers organizations. Nightmare had made sure they were behind her and blocked the exit as one stepped forward laughing "Eclipse you have come to use your father is waiting for you".

Nightmare had been playing mind games for so long this had become second nature now all he had to do was chase her deeper into the Institute for the deeper she went the worst her Nightmares would become as she got closer to Nightmares location.

Obsidior was the next to arrive, he knew in his mind something was wrong, but as anyone knows when Obsidior gets it into his head to investigate something, he can't stop. Obsidior was only a few seconds behind Eclipse, however he hung back to she what she was doing, he opened the doors to the asylum about 20 seconds after she had to see the back of nurses holding needles. "Hey!" he called to them as he saw between them that just past them was the girl he had just seen, perhaps this was an ambush. Obsidior's head moved quickly to the cameras on the wall and noticed the red light they were emitting, Someone is watching, and judging by these creepy nurses they probably aren't to friendly. he thought as his eyes moved across the dark hallway, after he dealt with the problem at hand he would focus on the cameras.

Bliss focused on the needles they held in their hands and shattered the glass in the syringes. She threw a sweeping burst of energy in the direction of the nurses, attempting to put distance between them. Bliss ran to turn the corner and took off down the hallway.

The Nurses were thrown back before hitting the wall and melting into shadows once again, Nightmare chuckled following the woman with his cameras leaving the other man to his devices for now. His hand flicked as Shadows formed around the Running eclipse before the room changed no longer in a long dark dead hallway the room was now filled with white walls and nurses and doctors with arm bands stopping and looking at the running woman.

Alarms went off as guys in black suits charged out and on screens Eclipses Father appeared laughing his eyes following her and his voice echoing after her "Run my daughter but your home now and we will have you". The men in suits wearing the arm bands of her fathers organization came from all sides wielding electric batons there faces hidden by masks.

Nightmare laughed in his camera room holding his sides for he saw what they saw and he couldn't quit laughing at the terror of the scene the woman was facing.

This doesn't make sense. Out of anger she focused on the television screen and burst it. Eclipse rolled through the phalanx of baton wielding maniacs with her shield up. This place may be inhabited but it couldn't be by more than two people. She tried to move through the nurses and doctors to get to the door behind them, thinking they would simply dissipate, but this proved to be fallacious. She stepped back in surprise, hearing the sounds of guards behind her. She remained calm before releasing her force field in a weak blast that she would send around the room.

Obsidior took off behind the girl, he wove in and out of the doctors and nurses. "Hey!" he yelled as he pushed his way through, they didn't seem to focus on him. "Hey, I am not one of them wait up!" he yelled as he stopped and was pushed back a little by her force field blast. Obsidior pushed forward after the effects of the blast wore of and he moved in front of her, trying to meet her gaze. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked sympathetically.

Tobais walked slowly, his nose in a masterful encyclopedia of alchemy. He had received a message saying that somehow, at Glen Oaks Mental Institute, he would find some answers. This intrigued him to some extent. Although he was highly suspicious it was a trap. Why the shady message, why not meet him at his place, why here? It was disturbing to say the least. He had a feeling that other people would fall for this trap and he set out to protect them. He was oblivious to eclipse and Obsidior and their random encounter with the nurses. Oddly enough, he should've protected them, but the book was very interesting. Even after memorizing every word, he enjoyed the escape from this bleak environment. He continued to walk until he almost walked into a tree. He snapped his book shut and looked around. Gaining his bearings. He saw eclipse and obsidior, and started to walk to them, shoving his book into a large pocked inside his trenchcoat inner pocket.

Nightmare glared at the intruder and focused his power forming Eclipses fathers image around Obsidior so Eclipse would see her father, He leaned back setting his boots up on the desk trying to get a feel for the man's Nightmare's and fears and nodded, Screams ripped through the building but designed only for Obsidior to hear as they begged for help and plead for mercy while a loud chainsaw ripped through the halls and screams of terror shook down the hallways. Nightmare nodded for added effect blood sprayed against the wall like a chainsaw cutting through flesh.

Nightmare was focused on Eclipse she looked so brittle in this state he wondered just how far he could push her mind before it snapped along with her spirit, Nightmare had a bet against himself that she would be the first to snap. Nightmare turned his sights to the other intruder and sat forward grinning at the possibilities he could play with this man. A body limped forward his face was that of Tobais's first apprentice his eyes bleeding as he fumbled around blind. "Master where were you I begged for you to come and you never came why didn't you come?. The body dropped on it's knees letting out a wail before a spear thudded through his chest dropping the body.

The effects lay useless against Obsidior, his mind wouldn't be tricked, not like this, Nightmare was focusing on the wrong thing. Obsidior held out his hand as it began to glow with bright green energy, he did it with great speed, Eclipse would have only seen the face of her father for the blink of an eye. "Listen, we need to get out of here, something about this place is wrong." he said as he used a calming voice. "Can you work with me, I can't fight something I can't see, I need your help.....can you help." he asked her in a more rushed voice.

Nightkill had also used the same documents Eclipse had. Although he had learned, and nearly perfected the Atomos drink, her father was clearly a brilliant man, and his contributions for science could be well-used by Nightkill to suit his own ends.

Nightkill walked out of his car, and began walking toward the hospital. He stopped. "I've got a bad feeling about this." he muttered, right before opening the doors. He paused, wondering why the hell they weren't locked.

"Shit!" Tobais said, seeing his first apprentice stumble around. Why was his apprentice here of all places? He was supposed to be operating a clinic overseas. Did someone take him hostage? What did this person want with Tobais? Why would he be willing to torture him blind, and to top it off, slaughter him in such a brutal manner? He looked back where the spear came from. trying to find the assailant, but to no avail. He ran up to his apprentice and grabbed the spear and transmuted it into a gas. as it transformed, half of the body dissipated for a minute. It resolved quickly to its normal state. Tobais looked at it puzzled. Why did that happen? Is someone manipulating him from behind? Tobais went to grab him and try to heal his wounds.

"I saw my field hit you and you're still here, so that's a good sign. I would like to leave, but this place needs to be vacated of everyone." She alluded to the one man who controlled all the events of the place. If she wanted to find this guy she would need use his powers against him. "What do you mean you can't see?"

"Look," he said as his eyes flashed over to the cameras with lights. "someone is watching us, and I'll venture to guess that they aren't on our side. We need to get out of here and figure out what our next step is, or go sprinting to the end of this." he said as he placed his right hand on her shoulder, he held his other hand in the air emitting light, he didn't know what was going on but light obviously helped. "I need you to focus on me, pay attention to me and my position, don't let anything confuse you. I don't know what is going on here, but all of these people weren't here when we showed up, we would have seen some signs of them." he said as he tried to focus his eyes onto her's. "You ready?" he asked.
