RED ALERT!!!!!

“Zombies in Louisiana? Ghosts in Philidelphia? Ghouls in Paris? Werewolves in London? That’s right, it seems almost as if the world has experienced an early Halloween. Is this an attack by the infamous Mad Jack? Or perhaps a new villain is popping up. In any case, it seems that metahumans with abilities similar to those of supernatural monsters are attacking every major city. While we don’t know who or what is causing this, we have heard reports of people disappearing and returning shortly after praising a new religious movement, naming the Scarab as a God-King. This “Scarab” is almost certainly our big villain, but who are they and what do they want?”

A pyramid arises in the Nevada desert. A gigantic flaming eye appears over it, watching the surroundings warily. Jackal headed guards protect the structure, with weapons raised they are poised to strike. Monsters appear to be gathering from beneath the structure. Hundreds of them, maybe even thousands. Known by only a few, the monster city of Defiance rose to war. Led by it’s new Grand Chancelor, Akoris Hoqor, the Scarab. He was raised onto a throne by a pack of hybrid formed werewolves and his dead dry lips blew a war horn.

Every monster in the world felt the call in their bones. Every demon, vampire, ghost, zombie, werewolf, dragon, and goblin. Every mage felt it too, though perhaps less strong. The horn commanded them to attack and to gather. There were those that could resist it’s call, but none could entirely dismiss it. This horn was ancient in ancient times, and it was powerful. Only the oldest monsters might recognize it, as they had been part of the reason for its creation. This was the horn of the Long Night and where it’s sound traveled, darkness followed. The only light too be found was the moon, keeping a careful sentry over its charge.

The Long Night has begun. Humanity is being hunted. Who will step in to help?

Monster Mash sounds fun, werewolves in London would be a fun start then find some clues connecting it to the bigger monster stuff to investigate.
