The Omnipresent Madness of Yog-Sothoth

Item/Character Advancement Description:
The Elder God Yog-Sothoth is vast and incomprehensible. As a being that has near infinite control over space and time, its ability to warp reality is unmatched. Through her Psychic Bond to Dabbler, Adjunct's quantum state has become unmoored from the common laws of causality. Yog-Sothoth's vast consciousness will brush lightly on the thread, and reality changes. There is no rhyme or reason for it, it only happens.

Alexis can appear in places spontaneously, sometimes without rhyme or reason. She will simply materialize into existence, without flash or fanfare. She is simply there.

This has many limitations, however. Alexis has only a very loose control of her teleportation. It does not afflict her when she is sleeping or vulnerable or with another individual. Her conscious will must be in place for Yog-Sothoth's attention to turn toward her. It will also not happen very often; it cannot pull her from a dangerous situation or allow to exit unfavorable circumstances. The only true control Alexis has is the ability to eventually return home.

In essence, this is a narrative power to allow a character to move into unusual threads and to return to a starting position.

Narrative only (entry and exit); cannot be used to end an encounter early or dodge immediate consequences. It will only activate if the character is alone, awake, and unobserved.
