The Pit

The Pit was born as most demons are, born in a hell the demon was one of the weakest demons ever born in that dimension. The poor thing had to be given a constant supply of soul energy just to survive. As a way to save the child and protect it from the outside world, its father, Macgenethorp, bound its soul into a portion of hell and split it off from the dimension to float in the cosmos. Macgenethorp became the worlds first ever bartender, as his son discovered that alcohol was the best way to attract the sort of unsavory souls that the Pit needed to survive.

As the years went on, the Pit became stronger but Mac couldn't figure out how to dislodge his son from the bar, but as men became more and more evil the Pit discovered that it had a taste for a particular breed of man. The type so evil, that it would actively pursue the sorrow and destruction of their fellow man. Villains.



From the outside, the Pit is a normal door leading to any normal area. Your office, your bathroom, the walmart down the road, etc. However, once the doors open a portal to the Pit is opened. Once you walk through, you are greeted by your average bar. A liquor cabinet on one side of the room, with a large african american man either polishing a glass or a gun depending on your business there - you can call him Mac. A stage with the skeletal remains of the last band to play at the Pit, tables around the room, and lights that tint the room orange. The room smells of beer and sulfur, and there is broken glass from previous brawls on the ground. What's that red spot on the ground? Does it matter?



The Pit has a room for anything - within reason - that will make the person it is trying to keep stay longer. Technically, the Pit is endless. However, there is always a bathroom, a bar, a kitchen, and a small meeting room setup for Tartarus.



The Pit is a bar and hangout space for villains. It was created to siphon off the soul energy - slowly - of any villain that enters the bar willingly.
