Connor wears a long, brown tattered coat, with matching boots, patched and frayed cargo pants, a t-shirt, and a button-up shirt, a tattered and frayed back-pack, fingerless gloves, and a gas-mask that, while scuffed and worn, is in perfect working order. He also has a complete suit of LAPD Meta-Response Riot Armor. Underneath all this, he has green hair, green eyes, and skin the color of an oak tree. He is also covered in scars, ranging from knife marks, bullet holes, bites, claws, and a few explosions.
Being on his own for as long as he can remember, Connor avoids most people, knowing that, if push comes to shove, 100% of people will look out for themselves. Connor accepts this, and doesn't expect anything to change. As such, he won't hesitate to attack first, and never ask questions.
Doctor Necrodium won. That was the simplest way to put it. New York and its defenders fell, and the Doctor walked away with grand plans. Now that New York was cowed, the world awaited. Balance would be brought, by force. Others rose up, proclaiming the Doctor a saint. He brought balance to the Earth, and they would help him. He welcomed the help. After all, balancing life was hard work. The more who helped, the easier things would be. Or so he thought. One of these "Balancers" killed the Doctor, in a brutal attack, resulting in the destruction of the entire state of New York during their battle. With the Doctor dead, this Balancer decided to rally the rest of Vankos disciples, and take over America. The Balancer proceeds to rally an army, consisting of every Villain left in America, and one-by-one, kills the Heroes still left. With no Heroes to protect them, the Government falls quickly. The Balancer becomes Lord of America, and turns the wasteland that is New York into a prison, where he sends anyone who disagrees with any of his policies.
The Balancer consolidates his power in America, spending nearly 12 years wiping out resistance groups, and resurgent "Heroes". Looking at a map of Earth, The Balancer decides he wants it all. He declares war on Canada, and anxes it quickly. Mexico follows, as does the rest of Latin America. South America surrenders before he can even plan an invasion. With the entire Western Hemisphere now his, The Balancer turns his sites on the East. England rallies the other countries, and sends troops against The Balancer. The rest of the world follows, as do Heroes who come out of hiding all over the West. In a desperate attempt to maintain power, The Balancer launches his nuclear arsenal. In a panic, the rest of the nuclear capable nations follow suit. No one is prepared for the devastation that follows. The entire world burns in nuclear fire. Already a nuclear wasteland, New York becomes the new seat of power, as most of the surviving humans have adapted there.
Connor Lynch was born to two parents who spoke out against The Balancer during his early years in power. They survived in New York using a combination of luck, brains, and the fact that they managed to find and fortify a weapons labratory that survived the climatic battle between the Doctor and The Balancer so many years ago. Both parents being scientists, Connor learned the sciences from them, and built a suit that would allow him to traverse the New York Wasteland without the fear of radiation. He spent years perfecting the suit, though he only ever got to test it in labratory simulations. Actually going out into the Wasteland was prohibited, as the other "survivors" were more than happy to kill, rape, and eat anyone they came across. Not always in that order.
Connor spent 12 years inside the "Lab", learning everything he could about anything he could. His parents suspected he had a meta-gene of some kind that gave him enhanced intelligence, and they were right. Connor remembered everything he read, he could build things after seeing a blueprint for them just once, and the suit he built would work perfectly, only ever needing occasional maintenance to keep it working. This wasn't the only mutation Connor had, either. Although the Lab was secure, radiation still found its way in. And Connor bore the brunt of it. His genes, already different from a normal human, were ripe for change. All they needed was a push. A push that wasn't far away.
Life was easy for them, right up until the final years of The Balancers War on the World. When the nukes were launched, no place was spared. New York, already a Wasteland, was hit once again. And this time, the Lab didn't survive. Connor was testing his suit when the bomb exploded. And when he woke up, he was the only survivor. After seeing that both his parents had died, Connor mourned them, buried them, and would have rebuilt, if the Wastelanders hadn't come for him. He fought back, killed them all, and left.
He's been roaming the Wasted Earth ever since, fighting to stay alive as he does. It's easier for Connor than it is for most. After a fight with a small group of Wastelanders, Connor was forced to removed his protective suit, to repair it. That's when he discovered that the sunlight that beat down on this scorched Earth was giving him strength, was washing away his exhaustion, and was nurturing his hunger. With this newfound discovery, and the use of his sword, gun, and shield, Connor became a force to be reckoned with.
Until he found and accidentally activated a device called a Wormhole Shunter.

"Mutation!!!"
Connor isn't fully human. He's been mutated by the multiple nukes that exploded across his Earth, and, as such, has changed to better survive on his own Earth.
Solar Absorption
Being in direct sunlight enhances Connors physiology.
-Enhanced Strength: The longest Connor ever spent in direct sunlight was 14 hours and 53 minutes. During the next few hours, Connor was able to lift a beached submarine, and throw it from Norfolk Naval Base to Washington, D.C.
-Bones Like an Oak: In addition to his enhanced strength, Connor has bones that are stronger than normal. Beyond normal. They're strong enough that Connor once jumped off a 12 story building, and landed on his feet, without breaking a single bone.
-Growing like a Weed: As long as Connor can get himself under direct sunlight, he can heal from any injury. The longer he remains in the light, the faster he heals. He always scars, though.
"Exactly How Smart are You?"
Connor has an incredibly advanced intellect. He has a photographic memory, and is adept at engineering, and most sciences. At least, in regards to surviving a nuclear wasteland. This intelligence has allowed him to build his suit, maintain his mask, and has helped him build the three weapons he carries with him.
-Enhanced Strength: Going without direct solar radiation for 12hrs or more can cause his strength to drain away.
-Bones Like an Oak: While Connors bones are more durable than any normal person, this durability doesn't extend beyond his bones. Shooting or stabbing Connor still injures him, as does blunt force.
-Growing like a Weed: While Connor can heal from any injury, as long as he has access to sunlight, hitting him with fire will burn him worse than an average person, and requires three times the amount of solar radiation to heal.
-IT BURNS: Connor will suffer chemical burns that will not heal if he comes into contact with weed killers.
Radiation Suit: Built nearly 20 years ago, Connors radiation suit protects him from harmful radiation, poisonous water, and chemical attacks. It's made of a material that Connor himself invented, though he never named it. And, as far as Connor knows, it can't be replicated. He has a small supply of the material still with him. Enough that he can continue to repair the suit for another 10 years, at it's normal wear-and-tear rate. The suit itself comes in several pieces. It consists of pants, boots, a shirt, and a long leather coat.
Gas Mask: Something Connor found while he was still in the Lab with his parents. He managed to take it apart and rebuild it, modifying it so that it only works in conjunction with the suit he built. It helps protect him from chemical and liquid based attacks. The mask itself is more like a helmet, and it covers and conceals his entire head.
Personal Energy Shield: A device Connor built shortly before The Balancer launched his first nuclear strike against the world, the PES protects the wearer from fast moving munitions and blades.
Hard-light Sword: A weapon Connor only built to see if he could actually do it, the Hard-light Sword is a blade composed of light, focused through an array of crystals and lens. The blade itself will cut through most mundane materials. Connor has named this weapon "Lightbringer".
Rail-gun modular rifle: A rifle that was being developed in the Lab before the Doctor and The Balancer destroyed New York, Connor uses it to help him survive in the Wasteland that was the Western Hemisphere. The rifle can be modified using different pieces to perform as different weapons. So far, Connor has discovered an assault rifle function and a sniper rifle function.
6-shot revolver
Radiation Suit: While the suit is advanced enough to protect Connor from most radiation, every time it gets ripped or torn, he uses up a portion of the remaining material he made it out of to fix it. As such, it will eventually fail.
Gas Mask: The mask only works in concert with the suit. When the suit fails, Connor will have to discard the mask. He's also running out of filters for it. He has three left. Each will last him about 3 threads, in areas with a high concentration of gases.
Personal Energy Shield: Slow moving projectiles, blades, and gases can easily bypass the energy shield.
Hard-light Sword: Much like Connor, the Hard-light Sword requires a charge to function. It gathers this charge the same way Connor does. By him having the hilt sit out in direct sunlight, and gather in solar radiation. Unfortunately, the charge doesn't last long. Each charge only lasts for three posts, and then he has to recharge it.
Rail-gun modular rifle: The RGMR requires a special type of ammo to function, and Connor is the only one who knows how to make it. However, some of the materials required are quite scarce. To make ammo for the RGMR, Connor needs cobalt, depleted uranium, steel bullet casings, and a press kit. To make one magazine, Connor has to spend a whole thread working.
Sun Light Tastes Good: As long as Connor is outside, and has some part of his skin bared, he can absorb solar radiation. Doing so allows him to survive without food or sleep. The longer he's in direct sunlight, with more skin exposed, the less food or sleep he needs. The more direct and powerful the sunlight, the better it works.
Places with overcast skies put a hindrance on his absorption.
Wormhole Shunter: A device that Connor has only recently come across, it appears to look like a wrist-mounted, miniature computer. When coordinates are punched into the keyboard, the wearer is shunted to those coordinates. However, it's not a teleportation device. It's a wormhole generator, that shoves the users into an alternate dimension.
LAPD Meta-Response Riot Armor: Just before The Balancer took over the rest of the US, the LAPD was working on a suit of armor to outfit a squad of select officers to respond to metahuman based crimes. The armor is heat-resistant, cold-resistant, bullet-proof, knife-proof, shock-absorbant, and laced with copper wiring that feeds to the boots and the belt buckle, where a battery compartment sits(to prevent electrocutions). Unfortunately, Connor hasn’t been able to get the armor working properly, as he could not find the blueprints to fix it, and he hasn’t had time to stop and take a look at the armor itself, so he can fix it. As of now, he wears it to look intimidating.
