A Night to Remember (Jeannie)

jeannie doesn't like the idea of smacking into the wall luckily her super kitty powers help her flip around in the air and land feet first on the wall then springboard off it launching herself at the thief like superman.

The pupils in Bliss' eyes grew in confused amazement. "Well, okay." A slight tingle ran through Bliss' finger tips with the formation of ice caking around the tips of her gloves. "I don't have to freeze you, but that doesn't mean-"

Before Bliss could finish her shield or sentence, Jeannie bounded off the wall- and into Bliss' torso. A sudden fall to the ground broke the concentration Bliss needed to continue her ice shield, so Bliss went to her next trick. Telekinesis. A quick, but forceful pull tried to send a metal bar at Jeannie, hoping to give Bliss enough time to get out from under her attacker.

The sudden commotion and guttural sound from Bliss drew Ashley's attention. "Some plan, Bliss." Ashley grabbed a roll of duct tape and began running towards the hallway she last saw Bliss and Jeannie.

got you now huh Jeannie finds a metal bar flying at her, she tries to get out of the way, huh can't have that in the museum it might break something. and as a good guard, she can't let that happen.

she grabs onto the bar as it flys by and is comically tugged along behind it as she tries to stop it from breaking anything.

The moment Jeannie got off Bliss, a world of opportunities opened up for the black skirted sailor scout. Popping both hands on the ground, Bliss swung her leg out to try and kick Jeannie's legs out from under her. If Bliss could knock her down, Bliss would try to freeze her to the ground.

"Are you almost done?" Ashley popped out from the crates, seeing Jeannie and her metal bar.

"If you got the tape, I got the girl who needs to be quiet." Bliss would walk over to Jeannie, ready to strike if need be.

The silver roll of tape swung around Ashley's fingers as she stepped closer to the battle between Jeannie and Bliss. A row of crates still stacked behind them looked very unstable from the before mentioned melee.

when bliss swung her leg at her. jeannie grabs onto it and holds on tight yay I got you now, huh but I can't look for the other one if I'm holding on to you, where'd that rope go Jeannie holds on to bliss leg to keep her from getting away and wonders, where something to tie her up, is.

"Woah, shoot!" All the plans Bliss thought sounded so nice in her head suddenly played out in a much different way. The black clad sailor scout felt her head hit the back of the floor, stunning her, but still allowing her to remain conscious. A roll of duct tape laid inconspicuously on a nearby crate much to Bliss' chagrin. "Hey, now. Let's be calm about this."

While Bliss continued with Jeannie, Ashley located their escape route. If they could get to the second floor, a fire escape would make a quick getaway for the two of them. Now, she just needed to head back and see how quickly Bliss took care of Jeannie.

oh yeah that will work Jeannie smiles when she sees the duct tape, she wraps bliss up with the duct tape and takes the code thingy for safe keeping.

right got you tied up, and the thingy to put back.
huh, where'd thief number two go? maybe if I wait she'll come back for you she sits on bliss to make sure she cant get away but she did do a good job tieing her up she used a bunch of tape.

so she waits and tries to come up with a plan to catch the second thief.

"Bliss?" Knowing the heist still played out in real time, Ashley wanted to keep her voice more subdued, but she still needed to find her partner. With the gap between skills, Ashley assumed Bliss managed to handle Jeannie just fine before finding somewhere to stash the girl. Still, Ashley did not want to find a way to alert more guards or trigger any alarms. "Bliss? Where are you?"

so Jeannie has an idea how to trap the other thief, she draws a big x on the floor then rolls one she caught over it to uses as bait.

she then puts a net hanging over the x and hides. she then waits when thief number two comes to get number one out Jeannie will drop the net on her and have both thieves.

Tape running all down Bliss' body did not help her cause with regaining control of the situation. Nor, did the tape stretching across her mouth assist her to alerting Ashley to the trap she now found herself apart of. A net? Really? If this managed to work, it would be the lowpoint of the night for Ashley getting caught by it, and for Bliss being the bait for it. Bliss kept squirming though. Even if the amount of tape wrapping her up was ludicrous, she needed to escape.

Ice began to push against the tape, freezing over a line running from her hips to halfway down her thighs. Bliss rolled over, pushing her weight against the tape, and breaking it. Now her legs could breathe a little, but it did not free the rest of her. She tried pulling her legs out by pressing as much force as possible into her ankles, but nothing gave way. Then, she saw the break of light from a flashlight.

"Bliss?" A light continued to push behind a caring voice. "Where did you go?"

Bliss looked down and saw the 'X' gone. Her body must have covered it or erased it during her attempted escape. This would be bad if Ashley continued on. Bliss tried her hardest to mutter a warning through the lines of tape stretching across her mouth, but nothing made it out.

"Things didn't go well?" Ashley looked down to Bliss. With a strong telekinetic pull, Ashley moved Bliss over to where the crates just began."Let me get that off your face and you can tell me what happened."

huh, Jeannie watched bliss try to get out the sneaky wizard, she thought taping her mouth would keep her from using magic. should have used more tape, or maybe some magic ice proof tape. oh well, she didn't get far and thief number two came.

After Bliss moved from her spot, a singular 'x; remained on the ground. Ashley looked to the 'x' for a moment, then up to the ceiling where a net now hung attached to a rope. Thanks to the distance granted by the telekinetic pull, the net falling just missed Ashley. While the avoidance should have given Ashley more confidence, it merely filled her with a sense of confusion. "She was using a net?"

The sense of confusion in Ashley met a small sigh of relief from Bliss. The sigh fell silent into a grouping of tape, but the sentiment still rang through. Bliss continued trying to pull her hands free from behind her, while attempting to get her legs free from the tape over her boots.

"This will take too long, Bliss." Ashley stood up. "I'll deal with Jeannie. Again."

darn no I know how the poor coyote must fell when the roadrunner gets out of his traps Jeannie was kinda annoyed when the thief missed the net, well at least the witch was still tied up.

no your supposed to stay in the net and get caught, what if I tie you up next to your friend will you let me catch you? if you two are really good I'll see if the cops can put you in the same cell

"Um. No." Declining the offer felt somewhat meaner than trying to capture someone. In all honesty, it would just even out karma, but right now the karma felt pretty good in her favor. "That's not going to happen, but it's nice of you to ask and not just try to- well, you did try to drop a net on me." A look of disappointment came to Ashley's face.

"I'm just going to take Bliss." Ashley reached down to grab Bliss by the tape wrapped around her torso. "We're going to just go on now. No reason to keep her- or me, here any longer."

jeannie thought about it well she is supposed to guard the stuff and she got the thingy backwell since I got the thingy back, and since you didn't take it out of the museum you technically didn't steal anything. I suppose I can let you go, just promise not to steal anymore ok.

"That sounds good." Ashley lifted Bliss up, letting her stand awkwardly with a slight crutch. "I'm not sure how much we actually need that code, but I don't think it is worth this trouble."

Bliss eyeballed Jeannie, giving Ashley a signal. None of the words from her mouth escaped, but a message did impart over to Ashley.

"Is it really worth the trouble Bliss?" Ashley watched as Bliss continued to move her head to the side. Watching Bliss try to carry out the workings of a plan did very little to ease the already annoyed Ashley. "Fine. I'll deal with Jeannie."

Bliss' eyes widened as Ashley moved away from her. Nothing in Bliss' pantomime signaled Ashley to attack Jeannie, but Bliss really did not work out that well without her mouth.

"You and me blondie." Ashley prepared to pull Jeannie close to her so she could knee Jeannie in the stomach with the business point of her boot. "I figure you already have the tape. And a net"
