Well, since this is the DETAIL lesson, I'll expound on this expert description for you, lol. A taco is typically shredded beef, similar in texture to a sloppy joe / manwich if you've ever had one of those. They are flavored with a myriad of mexican spices and harbored in either a hard shell tortilla or wrapped up in a softer bread-like tortilla. If you dont already know, a tortilla is a type of flat bread made from either wheat or corn. The bread is crisp fried to get the hard shell that many people prefer. The tacoes are typically served with shredded cheddar cheese and lettuce, though many of the "Americanized" tacoes include anything from chunks of chicken to onions. They are eaten without utensils... unless you are either a pussy or in an expensive suit. The latter brings up why anyone would EVER eat tacoes in a suit, but whatever. The tacoes do tend to leak flavor upon the consumer's face, though not quite as suggestively as previous posts sounded.

I'm surprised that they dont have Taco Bells over in England (though many would argue that the franchise doesnt deliver the standard spanish Taco, but a cheaper-to-manufacture substitute.) They manufacture the food in a quick, cheap fashion and usually stay open all night, satisfying late-night cravings like no other. Seriously, they're good. If you ever visit the states, plan to stop over for a taco or three. Just be sure to pack some Imodium or the like. The spices commonly found in mexican foods are notorious for causing diarrhea.
